State governments are coming to their senses on this issue. You see more and more states legalizing marijuana for medical use. A person ought to have the right what they put into their body as long as it doesn't cause any major pain or injury to themselves or others. It's just like alcohol. She mentioned Swedens drug use. I live in Sweden, and maybe 50% of people in the age of 20 have tried marijuana at least once. But when somebody calls to their home and asks them about their illicit drug use, what do they say "Yes, I use illegal drugs mr Officer, come and arrest me"? You cannot trust the statistics on illegal drug use from Sweden. The same thing is going to happen when you legalize it in California - more people will have the balls to admit, beacause they have nothing to fear.

When I think of it, there's only good sides at legalizing it, it would leave free space in jails for true criminals (and there wouldn't need to be so many money put into jails, 800k less criminal would save alot), the government could keep all the money it wastes on anti-weed propaganda bullshit each year, if taxed and regulated, they'd make billions of dollars per year, weed would be even safer (not laced, etc) + organized crime would lose alot of income and be weaker (LOL), which is good imho

Also, even if that claim she made were true, it would only be because there are filters in cigarettes nowadays, but you can still smoke tobacco without filters and just roll your own tobacco joints. Also, you can use vaporizers when smoking marijuana and I don't see why you couldn't add filters to that too. AND, shock, you don't have to actually smoke it. You can eat it too. Again, she's an idiot and she's arrogant. Two of the worst combinations in my opinion...
