  • That is the STUPIDEST shit I have ever heard.. Although it makes sense, since the people who made the decision went through the 31st worst school system in the US, so maaybe instead of trying to slap some sense into those political buffoons, they should be put on a real arc and shoved out to sea to die, two by two!!!

  • phil is good, but im sick of him on source fed

  • Seperation of church and state is there for a FUCKING REASON!!!!

  • Education before fun!

  • my penis is a bigger structure

  • people wonder why i want to move out of Kentucky

  • IT Dj's home

  • theme ppp-aaaarrrrrkkkk!!!!!!!!!

  • It's okay. You can make religious jokes and it won't drive me away because y'all are still made of awesome.

  • You need to get your facts strait. The park is going to help and not hurt the state.

No state money is going to build the ark encounter and it has nothing to do with its education system or buget. They get a rebate on taxes that would not have been if the park where not built. Face it... its coming...Deal with it. Just think when this is built it will help the state with a ton of new tax revenue. It a win for all.

  • @1Inthearmynow Are you really supporting a giant ark ride?

  • I'm Christian and all... but... W-w-w-w-W-W-w-w-What the ffffffff-

  • hmm, wheres my flint and steel...

  • Religion and politics should never mix, if they do, the government comes up with dumb shit such as this

  • FUCK BOTH OF YOU BITCHES!!!

    BUILD THE FUCKING THEME PARK!!!!!

  • @fLiPnoTTiC good sir, you are derp

  • To start off I don't agree with the theme park, but I live in a Kentucky county where our Board of Education receives just over $10,000 per child for them to use to "educate" each one and I find that to be ridiculous. I myself attended a private school for less and received a much better education! I believe that public schools could stand to lose some of my tax paying dollars, and stop wasting money on ludicrous facilities and AstroTurf football fields!

  • a theme park based on the story where god kills the entire world?

  • I'm not convinced secular government should have its hands in education at all. In fact, I don't want the state indoctrinating my children -- that's why they are homeschooled. As far as I'm concerned, I would prefer the government not take my dollars at all to run a school system that I disagree with.

  • The Ark Encounter just sounds like a punishment...

  • Education is required to make that theme park...

  • Phuk theam parkes!

  • I'm from Kentucky, and I find this absolutely rediculous. I mean, SERIOUSLY?!?!?

  • @SpoonFeedThem Ugh, ya, a Bible based theme park would cause ignorance? Really? And you think it would be useless? It doesn't matter what Christianity is "really". its worth preaching. It helps society and would probably motivate children to learn more than funds to the schools would.

  • I'd argue that a theme park would generate revenue which could be used to improve the education programs, but that's not gonna happen. Any cash they make will go toward advertising and expansion for the park.

  • That's offensive to Christians

  • Im from Kentucky and I think that the budget cut is really going to hurt the schools. The schooling system is already bad and doing this will really push it over the edge.

  • So... When do I get to see the TRON interview?

  • To get some perspective imagine how retarded this idea would be if it was a scientologist's model of Xenu's spaceship. There is no hope for the future. SMH

  • Largest wooden structure in america? and the two top comments AREN'T boner jokes? Youtube, I'm shocked.

  • You know how hard it is to post your own opinion when the show is 100% one-sided? You expect us to google the other side of the story you are telling or do you want us to tell you what you told us? Just wondering if you aren't using the word "opinion" a bit loosely.

  • Please date or have "part 1" ect. or something similar in the title, so I know which video belongs to what day.

    Love the Channel!

  • Theme park

  • common sense dictates that there is only so much you can do for education with money.

  • @DeadtomGCthe2nd Errrr. I hate to point this out but education that is paid for privately and is more expensive tends to produce far better results than education on a really tight budget. Just saying.

  • @SpoonFeedThem True, but there is still a limit to what can be done. I am not saying this limit was reached. I am simply saying it is not always better to put more money towards education. Also, something to note is that while you may not reach an absolute limit to how much you can help education, you can easily reach a value limit. So, at some point people would rather have a theme park than better education. (the more you buy the higher the opportunity cost becomes)

  • @DeadtomGCthe2nd People may prefer a theme park but what these bible based theme parks offer is ignorance. They peddle a lie and not even a useful one. If you have to cut spending you don't cut funding to education and still fund something totally worthless. If the park creators really want the infrastructure necessary to function they should pay for it. This state hugely lacks in education quality as it is. Don't damage that any further. By the way, if you buy useless crap you've got crap.

  • I hope termites and carpender ants evolve resistence to pesticides and eat their way through the Ark.

  • Desperate religious morons doing desperate religious shit.

  • At least that Religious indoctrination shit "theme park" has at least the stated goal to "amuse" people rather than directly indoctrinating them like the "Creation """Museum""" "...

  • Whats the intro song?

  • This theme park has value in the fact that we all want it to exist so we can laugh at it and people can vandalize it for the general amusement. The amount of money going into it, however, is atrocious. EDUCATE THYSELVES, FOOL! <--- why wasn't that in the Bible?

  • @disposableteenager If it is to be constructed, churches solely should be in support of it, it doesn't deserve government funds in the slightest.

  • you can also get thrown into a pit with real lions.

  • If I went to that theme park, it would just be to laugh at the overweight rednecks who spent money on the ticket. If I saw anybody with a mullet and/or mutton chops, I would have to go back up front and give somebody another $20 just out of respect.

  • What thing above your head?

  • @SuperCandyPants Uhhh the thing above his head that LITERALLY says "WHAT MORE!!" ...duh!!!

  • the world is a theme park, education is our ticket,,,,,,,...... haahahahaha

  • That theme park doesn't even sound fun. If they were building a Six Flags then maybe it would help the state make more money; but ether way I think that Education should have a protected budget.

  • Theme park!!!! :D

  • @MoralRapist the bible doesn't promote slavery, it speaks of it and how Christians are against it. If you do not have valid points don't comment stupidness.

  • They should be fined, not helped by the government imho.

  • Lol the bible promotes slavery and people claim it is moral. Enjoy stoning young children!

  • Or the desert ride were you wander for forty days without eating? Must be 3'10" to ride

  • this theme park doesn't even sounds fun.

  • I'm 100% for the arch encounter

  • Buddy Jesus makes an appearance !

  • Wheres the penis jokes?

  • you need to talk with each other too not act like or doing the story alone!!!

  • yes... we are going to hell

    hahahahaha what a riot

    keep it coming guys

    holler from the philippines!

  • As a religious Kentuckian I find this entire situation ridiculous. Obviously our education system needs far more funding than a stupid theme park. If you really want to have fun while learning about Jesus, listen to the Bible audio book while you drive to Florida for a real vacation.

  • Largest Wood Structure = Largest Wood Structure Fire

  • ELLIOT=SPOCK!!!!!

  • a bunch of dead end jobs vs. education.... yikes...

  • Education - Theme parks

  • Only watched for Elliott

  • lmao!!!" we are going to hell"

  • ...phil can you please be our president?

  • @lolqqqlol

Well Lee is Hot. Joe looks like a great father (Thumbs up Joe). Elliott is cute xD Phil is just odd jk ;P

  • @0729ToxicLove am i the only one who finds Joe really Hot?

  • priorities straight. theme park>school. wish it was defranco themed.

  • I don't think God is pleased. AT ALL. He doesn't care about a stupid theme park. The education system of any state should be its number one priority, considering that these students have to one day contribute to that state's economy by getting jobs and paying taxes. They can't do that properly if they get a bad education.

And that's coming from a Christian.

    Get it together, Kentucky.

  • i don't care, am British.

  • Have they released statements about how much money this place could potentially generate? I'm not saying I agree, but if this park generates money for the state, then great. Hopefully they can use it to smarten up their people. But.... hopefully.

  • @boredgeek Oh Lord. No I hadn't but it doesn't surprise me. It's not like you hear anything real in high school History classes anyways. They put the shiny everything is great spin on it. Wasn't till college I got some real info.

  • I live in Kentucky... Fuck

  • It's all about money

  • Ugh

  • Awws I love you Elliott<3 xD

  • @0729ToxicLove he kinda anoys me i prefair Joe or Lee

  • common sense isn't as common as one would think

  • I live in Kentucky and think that getting rid of money for education is a terrible idea, mostly because the education sucks right now as it is.

  • As a citizen of Kentucky i am very displeased with the governmental decisions of this state. Education should be the #1 priority of all states. This would only lead to a better infrastructure in the long run.

  • we should open a hashtag #edugate

  • the government cutting education funds to build a themepark?

that sounds like something The Dicktator would say ('cept it wouldn't be a giant Ark but a giant statue of himself)

or the plot of a parody of a "Save our School" movie (because only in a parody would such a ridiculous plot appear)

  • First & last sourcefed I've watched.. God still loves you all.

  • Lol wtf edu > park

  • I live in Kentucky and my high school was bull shit, only learned like 1/4 of what i should have

  • i almost died when he said sodom and gamorras fun house hahaha

  • If these guys are going to Hell for just those comments then im surprised that a black hole leading to Hell hasn't sucked me in yet.

  • Why the heck is a theme park being run by the government??

  • Theme parks should be self funded not government funded while education deserves both

  • THEME PARK WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! lol "education??????"

  • Largest Wood Structure In America? I"ll have a Flint and Steel ready >:)

  • @wellbird2426

    Flint and Steel? TNT!

  • 'we are going to hell'

  • oh religion.. now getting a way of making people even more stupid

  • spend money to make money

  • Hahahahaha!!! All you can eat Last Supper buffet! XD

  • so lets just forget about separation of church and state? tax money for a relious theme park about a fictional event in a story book (aka the bible)

  • Hmmm suthurn edjumacajun vs the south rising up to get their God on with splishy splashy fun, interesting quandry

  • Fuck school, Jesus didn't go.

  • Comment removed

  • Plebeians receiving an education? Har har har.

  • Whoever let that "Blatant Religious indoctrination moronic shit """theme park"""" idea" go though should be stoned to death... and I don't mean that fun way of being stoned, the old time version meaning being pelleted in the face by rocks until you die of a horrible painful death... You know, the kind of wholesome cute shit they teach you about in the old testament...

  • It took me a few seconds to get that 60 states joke...

  • politicians and the media are seriously stupid sometimes.

hey when you guys need a pilot. Hire me!

  • Screw the theme park....

  • Sodom and Gomorrha's Funhouse :D

  • I think it's nice how "america's enemies" doesn't have to do anything to bring you guys down. They just need to sit back, grab some snacks, a few cold ones and watch you destroy yourselves.

  • I didn't think I would like eliot at the start of show but now I enjoy him =D

  • Your implying that a Cristian theme park would be fun?

  • it's upsetting to see how dis-valued education is when it is so clearly needed.

  • My School had to cut 10 million dollars in itself.

  • More theme parks!!!!

  • i love potatos

  • My hair won

  • STUPIDITY that's all i have to say. (mumbles one million dollars to a them park and not Education) Alright America Come on now

  • That amusement park is going to make a ridiculous amount of money. You know those who are religious freaks are going to swarm to that thing. Making all that money back fairly quickly. Hopefully they will give it back to the school systems. But I think its a good investment. A risky one. But a good one. "IF" that budget cut isn't permanent.

  • I'll end my rant with a judgment call: It's a no brainer, this isn't a "religion vs secular society" debate, because all theme parks are fiction based, and in my opinion this ark theme park is no exception. This is a "spend tax dollars on leisure vs spend tax dollars on function" debate, and that to me is no debate at all. Every single child in Kentucky is required by law to attend school till they're 18 and can legally drop out. Not even a 100th of that number of kids will attend the theme park

  • gvt is making a good call.

it prob will provide employment for locals through building, running and maintaining the venue. local businesses will benifit from the construction then hotels and feeding tourism. money comes into the community, etc. If the park is profitable you can put the moneys back into education and now u got employment and tackling unemployment is the best way to prevent crime in communities.

  • @LensCapJB I can't help but disagree, how many people would this park employ? lets be super generous and say 500 people. Totally unrealistic, probably 150 tops, but I digress. So now, lets add the super generous guess at the number of local business people, maybe another 500 people working at 6-10 hotels around the park, and maybe another 15 restaurants in the area. How many people are in the Kentucky Education system right now? That's 1,221. not people. SCHOOLS.

  • @LensCapJB So really you're saying Jesus needs a theme park (which are more often than not a money hole not a money maker, which explains why paramount sold Canada's Wonderland) and we should cut school budgets to do so?

  • @LensCapJB My last point is that the schools in Kentucky generate 44,023 teaching positions alone, that's a lot of jobs, plus every other employee in a school (which are similar to the theme park so I won't list them) This park is 40 million dollars that could go toward resources for those 44,000 teachers, resources that were RECENTLY CUT from an already malnourished and underfunded school system.

  • Your video title is misleading, hell all your titles are misleading.

  • maybe they should put a school in the park, inorite

  • the theme park doesn't sound awesome

  • I just laugh cause i think of how many kids are going to cut school to go to the theme park xD

  • @EchoShots Probably not that many, how many kids skip cartoons on sunday mornings to go to church? This is a bible camp squeezed into an amusement park, maybe the rides will be physically fun, but I doubt it since the bible's key demographic are the elderly and the young, simply because those two target audiences have impaired judgment.

  • where is the hot one

  • The Heck with the kids. Roller coaster baby.

  • No theme park, education is most definitely more important

  • Theme park! Wait it's religious... education is more important then... :-)

  • education > religious theme park

  • I fucking love every host of this show, I would love to caress Phil and Elliot though. And I'm a guy! (I been a fan of Phil since '06)

  • I didn't think the government could support any.type of religion..

  • Theme park yeah! Fuck the system and there schools.

  • Edjumacation is much more important than a theme park. An actually educational theme park might be almost cool though. Maybe one that represented and taught about a large number of religions... still wouldn't give it tax breaks at the expense or education but would be more likely to visit it.

  • This is unconstitutional. the federal/state government cannot give money to religious organizations!!! Oh wait Can they??? Next thing you know there will be a constitutional amendment to call all Xmas trees holiday trees and all state capitols will have to have the ten commandments displayed in the entryway.

  • "We are going to hell."

    "True story."

    LOL

  • Education should always come first!

  • giant ark-themed amusement park for Kentucky= Armageddon plan for state

  • this got me questioning. what is your religious point of view?

  • I think the real reason why people don't like the three new hosts is that they aren't as comfortable as Phil on camera. Give them a break. They're in a show that is already extremely popular on the first episode. They don't have the many years of finding out what works and what doesn't like Phil has.

  • I couldnt give a flying fuck about an amusement park in Kentucky

  • Only in Kentucky.

  • @mickyred13 The city of Virginia Beach starts their school year later so that students can work summer jobs thru Labor Day. This means that we are not as far in our school year to be prepared for things like SATs, AP exams or other cumulative tests.

  • Kentucky wants big wood.... nice

  • Save me jebus!!

  • Can't the people in that state do anything about this? Petition? Angry letters? This really sucks.

  • Theme Park > Ejumacation

  • wow what the hell kentucky?

  • I want an awesome theme park

  • So embarrassed I live in Kentucky

  • Those southern Republicans are always fucking themselves over. Thank god I live in California...... OH SHIT! They get to vote in the elections too! What the fuck have Republicans come too. At least they aren't for slavery of child labor anymore... OH SHIT! Newt Gingrich.

  • Comment removed

  • Jeebus land, Republican nonsense

  • "We are going to hell" hmm maybe

  • wow, really? a theme-park is more important than SCHOOL? that sounds logical

  • America! Fuck Yeah!

  • Woooow. FUCK THE HELL OUT OF KENTUCKY! You want to ruin your future children? You want to stuff religion down your children's throat? The people who thought of this idea, the legislatures of Kentucky can suck it.

  • Shit

  • At least you know the Bible./

  • If they make soddom and gommorahs fun house, I would go.

  • yea you are going to hell but satan will be laughing when you get there
