yep - pulled plug (well, flicked the switch) of a kiosk today and it rebooted, running windows embedded 2009 posready (why the hell would they use posready???) - just before the kiosk app opened I got the start menu opened and spawned a couple of windows to keep the start menu etc on top.
They basicly have a UPS stored inside but since it was being charged and turned on for years it broke and they havnt replaced it yet thats why when you unplug it didnt reboot right away LOL fail

Yeah very basic stuff you get.
To all those that say not hacking, this is the start.
This is where you learn stuff.
Even just by seeing the INTERNAL IP you can easily learn alot about the kiosk and its type of security.
I know "hacking" looks like you type real fast on a keyboard, but this is the start of a real hacker at work...

ok, first this is not a hack. second, the ip address is an internal 192.168, which is not accessible outside of the local network and thus pointless.
