I'm not a big John Mayer fan; personally I'd rather be listening to Stevie Ray Vaughan, but I can certainly respect him, and I'm going to give him a second chance, as far as listening to him goes, because I like the blues, and I'm currently learning to play the blues.

He is an intelligent person, and I can certainly listen to him talk; I don't find him arrogant, he's relatively humble, not quite Stevie Ray Vaughan humble, or Slash humble, but he's genuinely humble, like Stevie Ray, like Slash.

John Mayer is easily one of the most talented musicians of our time, he's probably the BEST song writer out there at the moment and one of the best guitarists. In interviews he makes jokes, when you're a celebrity, everything you say is taken so seriously, they're jokes. Everyone just needs to calm down. He's amazing. Overall

he's an excellent guitarist and an ok song writer, but there are better singer/song writers out there. Guys like Damien Rice is IMO a better song writer. Mayer's good though.

You know i hate how people judge John for some of his earlier interview like when he compared his penis to a white supremacist or what he said to Jessica Alba or whoever and not give him a chance now.He knows he made a mistake and he regrets it.Its shown in his Battle Studies album but I've heard what he said in some of his interviews and i hated him........But then I heard his music and not just the mainstream and I loved it then watched some of his interviews and realized hes not a bad guy
