@Sinchinchilla09 I took out the original harddrive (with windows on it) and put a brand new SSD in (clean). Since there was a size differenxce (250gb / 64 gb) i couldnt just do a clone. I did a download of windows, but did the wrong version (home basic vs home premium) so after a wile i had to do a clean new install.
So i had to reinstall windows from scratch on the SSD with an external cd player. Bit of a hassle, but it worked.
@miguelsan22 Well I did the swap right after I bougt it so I havent really used the standard HDD. But the fan hardly comes on with the SSD so that for sure saves battery and since there are no moving parts to power that saves battery too. You can work a full office day on this netbook with battery to spare and not having to even bring your charger.
The SSD performance is just great cold boot in 40 sec and file handling is very fast too. Obviously not comparable to desktop, but VERY nice!

How much better is the performance with the SSD and have you noticed an increase in battery life with it?
