  • This video is further proof that the majority of today's non-veteran, millennium population is far beyond fucking stupid; masters of talking with their thumbs and absolutely nothing else at all. NOTHING else...... And this "I support the troops, but am against the war" crap is how liberals manage to sleep at night......

  • people like her are how the liberals get such a bad reputation ughhh..

  • this sounds like some college punks i've come across

  • Lol, SO damn true!! Great video......

  • Civilian Scum!!

  • This totally speaks the truth. Has anyone seen the documentary Hell and Back Again; I think it maybe the most accurate film I have seen of what a soldier goes through in war and back in the states. It was shot in Afghanistan and has amazing footage of the war, but also follows a injured Marine Sergeant in the states and shows his transition. I think if people really want to know more about the war from a soldiers perspective this is a good starting point. youtube. com/watch?v=7Hzz4iTwSsI

  • i started laughing when she didnt know what an IED was

  • Hahaha...this is the most accurate thing I've seen. I have these conversations with alot of my friends who are in college.

  • Why aren't videos like this one ever featured?

  • I'm an Iraq war veteran, Army infantry. This is completely accurate. I'm sharing this. Thank you for speaking the truth.

  • So i guess the point is that there is NO proper way to support our troops because everyone who does support them hasn't been in a war. That makes sense 8/

  • LOL seriously, this is so accurate!

  • a typical conversation with any gal you meet

  • These are the levels of stupidity: New guy to combat arms unit is highest, followed by Fobbets (those who sit on the fob and do jack shit), new guy to POG unit, POGs themselves, basic trainee, recruit, possible recruit, ignorant illegal at home depot, and at the bottom is the blank-minded college brat who's running on parent's juicy bank accounts. Now that I'm a vet, I spend my time growing out my hair and wind up around idiots that make me wanna pull all that fresh hair straight out!

  • My god these vid are so fricken funny!!! :) especially the grunt vs. POG one haha

  • i love it!

  • I love the bit about China paying for the wars; I literally laughed. Yes it is harder to join the military than go to college.

  • Comment removed

  • College is a scam nowadays. That said, I want to say that most people in active duty service have no idea why the wars are being fought, and that most belive that there is no such thing as hidden agendas of the NWO and the planned collapse of the US. I am a AF vet of two wars and a former MSU student. Come at me, bros.

  • "Can I get it on Netflix?" ... "I hope so.."

  • Still trying to find the new IED Iphone app..lmao

  • Well, I'm in college, but I hope I never get too big headed about it. I like to think that I've learned a lot in school, but no one source can give you a wide enough perspective, the more sources/opinions, the better. I think one of the best classes I ever took was a course on the Vietnam War where the professor brought in actual Vietnam veterans to talk about their experiences and opinions of the war.

  • @MushroomKingdom919 you're a douche.

  • lol? if someone really had a political science major they would know the answers to all these questions.way to put everything out of context and exaggerate. People go to college so they can make more money when they get out. You can support the troops without joining the military and fighting for a bunch of idiot politicians and corporations. I think it's you guys who think we're fighting for freedom that don't get the big picture. idiots. Btw i've talked to plenty of vets im not a college nerd

  • @HippieDrummer06 I am a Poly Sci major and 95% of the people in my field are like this version of a poly sci major. They don't know anything and are there to simply get a degree through an easy route like a communications or liberal arts major.

  • As a political scientist and activity duty Army officer I find this video….. hilarious! So funny, so true, and thus so sad!

  • i don't support the war and i do not support the troops. no troops, no wars.

  • @meadowsirl "no troops; no wars" hahahahaha dumbass.

  • "Can I get it on netflix?" (an IED) "I hope so."

    HAHAHA

  • @Saikr0n ironic

  • 12 people are the girl in yellow.

  • funny stuff

  • you cant be this fcuking stupid?! HAhaha ROFL.

Less than one percent serve in the military and, even fewer actually serve in combat. The other 99 percent missed out on the best available leadership training and experience.

  • Ten years ago I joined the army because I did not think I was smart enough to go to college; I later realized that my dog is smart enough to graduate from most colleges. Truth was that I had a party bone and, lacked the discipline to study and perform as a student rather than, drink and get into trouble. I passed Trig, Precal, Trig based Physics and, finished my associate degree (in 2years) but, I plan on taking one more deployment to Afghanistan before I transfer to an engineering degree.

  • OMG my BFF just TXT me TTYL

    XD

  • Hahahahaha awesome

  • i fuckin love these

  • this is the funniest shit

  • Search For the series

    "BUSH OBAMA DESTROYED US ARMY"

    Part 6 revealed

  • @AIVIBITION It's mostly the fellow peers that make the assumptions. The teachers typically stay out of the debate unless they are super liberal. For the most part, the biggest problem are the people that use CNN or Fox News as their primary news source when its better to gather facts and viewpoints from many different sources. You can't deny a firsthand experience though, which is why I like to "educate" as many ignorant people as I can when the opportunity arises.

  • poor and un educated. well we are saving your rich ignorant asses. "omg that is totally not cool." hahaha

  • you cant be this fucking stupid

    LMAO

  • lmfao "can i get it on netflix?" "i hope so"

  • "The Military is for poor and uneducated people"

    LOL! Typical liberal mindset.

  • 4:15 took the words outta my mouth half the time I try to explain the military culture to someone that is "more educated"

  • "A wicked bout of IED" lol other than that, this was boring (at least it was informative though).

  • "A wicked bout of IED" lol

  • This is so amazing!!!! Lol. And CLEARLY so true! Lol

  • SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO TRUEEEEEEEEEE

  • don't be ignorants, a high school education is necessary to succeed in life, college degrees just get you better jobs....just ask the rest of the world what their highest grade completed was

  • All of you are bitches who argue on the internet.

  • @illmetaphysics

    Reminds me of a quote.

"Arguing on the internet is like the Special Olypics. Even if you win your still retarded."

  • @pdlip1 lol. Pretty much dude.

  • This is a freaking awesome video!

  • its really funny because i know what an IED is and im 12, its a kind of road side bomb and

an RPG may be a rapid play game, but the true meaning of the acronym its a rocket propelled granade...i really didnt realize how true that the little animated dogs are.

you realy made me see things that i never realized...

  • @SuperNoobdude RPG means role playing game in the context that the stupid dog meant. Dungeons and Dragons was the first big rpg, and it was played with books and dice, not computers. D&D was very popular with male virgins when I was growing up.

  • @rangerthree why do i care?

  • This video is correct in a sense but not all college students meet the those stereotypes. I'm college student (CJ major and minor Poli Sci), I can answer all the questions in this video. Imporvised explosive device, rocket propelled grenade and etc. I plan on serving after I finsih my associates and I have donated to Vets and talked to a lot of vets regulaly including my brother. Don't make streotypes like this when your wrong. I understand your message but most ppl aren't this far off base.

  • @SQUADLEADER09 This video is for the majority of college students... and I'm not even going to comment on your youtube username... I think you already know what I'm going to say.

  • @Tdfries

I'm not going to argue with you about my name or even the statements you made, cause their will be no end of comments from you. Have a nice day.

  • You nailed it buddy, I deal with the same thing every day.

  • shelf life mean how long it stays, and O.P.S was in the 1990's, it has not been 250,000 years since the 90's. that mean that it is still there, and you are being exposed to it right now! it does not take immediate effect, it usually starts with pain in the balls, sticks in your lungs like asbestos, i have video from when i was there of ppl with blown off legs, children burnt to a crisp, men getting sharp pulled out of there ass and face, blood all over the floor. don't say i don't know.

  • another VET who refuses to see that the war is over. this guy is like the guy on big leboskiw, NAM, NAM dude, nam. lol

  • i am glad they have a thing called google search, so i don't have to go to a third world country and kill people to find out the difference between the two groups, who the Taliban is a member of, or what an IED is. all i have to do is google it. if i cared. you guys act like people who go to prison, mix it up with criminals, and come out thinking you are smart because you have been around a bunch of idiots for so many year. they got a name for that, KING OF FOOLS.

  • i studied and focused on all WARS. i did my research on covert operations for my M.A. on Italy, Iran, Guatemala, Vietnam, Cuba, and wrote Game theory on how to fight the War in Afghan/Iraq with covert operations, I.E. using dead bodies of militants to simulate terrorist attacks against other factions with in the region, using News network to draw on the historical difference between the different groups, how to sell it as a successful mission to American. college Grad run shit for a reason

  • as a political science student W/ graduate and undergraduate degrees, and currently in law school, i have to say whomever made this video has the propensity for ethnocentrism. political science is not only about the American political systems. it is about all world governments. China, Russia, Burma, Italy, Guatemala, Iran, Syria, Lebanon, Afghanistan. any PS student would be able to answer these questions

  • Comment removed

  • @MrDirtyrook really because I go to NYU, and I've met many poly sci students that are extremely wishy washy and without a clue on any of these things, go to bed with posters of mobsters or twilight character's on their walls

  • CLASSIC!

  • Having a yellow "support your troops" bumper sticker doesn't buy me body armor.

  • I only wish more college students would join the military. Maybe then we could stop doing stupid shit like 5 mile IBA runs that anyone with a speck of knowledge about the human body would know causes more damage than benefit. We need people who know how to avoid doing useless shit

  • i am one of those "crazy", PTSD-suffering, "poor and uneducated" vets mentioned in the video. i wish i could "like" this video for every time i have had the misfortune to encounter a college student like the one in this video.

  • this is so fucking sad.....

  • LMFAO!!! From a Canadian Vet.

  • I've never seen so many stupid people in one place. I thought college was for smart people. I get tired of these kids who think the world revolves around them and that the world things going on in the world dont matter if it doesn't affect them personally.

  • @hooah9422 for sure i feel the same way and everyone else i know using the Chapter 33 feels the same way......

  • @hooah9422 college exists to sap some rich idiots parent's bank accounts

  • It's a fucking shame, but this is definitely representative of what it is like to be a combat veteran. Our populace, in general, are a bunch of fucking retards!

  • I LOVE IT!!!!

  • new from apple the Ied

  • ROFL IED: "is that a new iphone app?"

  • "the military is for poor and uneducated people" lmfao

  • @jeclairm As I said before, I am enrolled in a real college in a real program. I am not one of the little rich kids who just go to college because my mom and dad told me to. So, yeah, I am not taking philosophy classes to gain someone elses opinion or insight. And I am pretty sure Obama bailed out your demonized wall street bankers. And I bet, based on how idealistic and antiAmerican you are, that if you weren't Canadian you would have voted for him. Good job.

  • Comment removed

  • @jeclairm, congrats on your 2 degrees and your advanced knowledge of philosophy. But everything in philosophy is more a belief than a solid fact. Im not going to belittle you, but you try to throw out words you got on thesaurus at the people that support people like me. As a matter of fact, I have an associates in Computer Networking, am Network+ certified, and SEC+ certified, and when i get back to iraq for my 4th deployment, ill get my CCNA and CCNP. LOL@ Poli-science!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @jeclairm Speak what u want, but its doubtful that you had these certs at the age of 16 and 20. its an expensive test. Even for a poli-sience supposed major. And if you had those certs, then ud know its WAY more than installing "Stuff" and thats a technical term to you. To be perfectly honest, you are probably nothing more than a scorned young man that had dreams of college, went to school, failed out, and then wasnt stable enough to join one of the armed services. Fucking Joke! LOL

  • Comment removed

  • @jeclairm thats funny. il leave this conversation at this.........your 99 on you rASVAB is mid tier. you need atleast a 110 to get a good job. i have a 110 and thats the only way i was able to get the job that i have, and a top secret clearance. So continue to try and belittle people with large words to hide your small heart. If it wasnt, you could have joined an armed service and accomplished everything you have already.

  • Comment removed

  • @jeclairm Well thank you for the lesson, even though ive been doing this for 11 years. LOL. I love how you boost your own ego. A college education doesnt equate to being smart. You are living proof.

  • @demontedub I think you're confusing AFQT and GT scores. When people refer to their "ASVAB score," they're usually talking about the AFQT. Anything above a 50 is considered good.

I consider myself pretty smart, and I got a 115 GT. A friend of mine scored a 124 GT, and although he's smart he can sometimes be as dumb as a box of rocks. That's because these are just general aptitude figures and don't necessarily reflect intelligence.

  • @ls1z28chris he is a score, your SAT, GRE, LSAT! those are real tests.

  • @MrDirtyrook Those are real tests that have absolutely fucking nothing to do with MOS qualifications. The military doesn't give a shit about your SAT score unless you're applying to a service academy.

  • @demontedub ya bud....hmmm....you obvious have no clue how the ASVAB grading scales work. 99 is the highest you can get on your general score. basically, the english, math and science portions together. The score stands for what percent of the people having taken the test during your testing cycle you scored higher than. It is not a definitive score

  • @veshuinn The other scores are called line scores, ranging from general technical score, the basic score determing what jobs you're eligible for, mechanical, administrative, etc the highest score plausible for a human being in 136 with 142 being the highest theoretical score. You do NOT have to have a 110 in ANY of these scores to get a good job, only very specific jobs require a score of 110 AT THE HIGHEST in both GT and field specific line score to qualify in said field.Educate yourself

  • @veshuinn I did make a mistake with that, and as a man i can admit it. For you to tell me to educate myself without knowing my credentials, is a bit insulting though. LOL. Im not perfect, nor do i pretend to be. Either you are a recruiter, retention NCO or really good with google. And its more than specific jobs that require a 110 GT score and over 100 in most of your line scores. To include warrant officers or people wanting to go green to gold or OCS. Thank you for the laugh though.

  • @demontedub I have to agree with you on this one. Social sciences are called the soft sciences for a reason. It is all observation and hypothesis, no testing and confirming.

Good luck on your CCNA. I'm working on a bachelors in computer networking and plan on taking the CCNA later this year before a get my degree. And stay safe in Iraq. A lot has changed since I was there in 2005, but as this video points out there is still a war on over there. Semper fi.

  • @ls1z28chris that is a ridicules assertion about social science. really? that's why they study polling result, volatility of the public, judicial rulings, news and mass media, war, how the public response to these issue to give the president ideas, elections, human rights, world courts, covert operations and pubic support. man, i have never seen such a foolish statement. everything in political science it number, data, research, median, stat's, and probabilities t reach a conclusion.grow up.

  • @demontedub Philo is not about beliefs, Philo is about logical reasoning, to come to a conclusion based on evidential facts. EX: all dogs are mammals, if you see a dog, you know its a mammal. more complex if all A's R B's, and All B'S are C's, if not C'S, then Not A'S. it has nothing to do with beliefs. it has to do with taking logical steps to come an answer. If you Are in the military, then you have a high school diploma, which mean you have little education, and are undereducated. lol

  • @MrDirtyrook Thank you for proving my point. You believe that im undereducated, because you believe i just have a high school diploma. LOL, You also believe this war is about killing. As a vet currently on my 3rd tour, its more "hearts and minds" Teaching people to be self sustaining, so that we leave this country with an infrastructure to prosper in the future. I guess that isnt in the books that you study, or the historical references you used. Come here and get your answers first hand

  • @demontedub by rebuilding you mean infecting the land with highly enrich uranium? the dust from those bullets have a shelf life of 250,000 years. maybe you have not heard of the syndrome it has caused other vets/ residence from O.P.S! many children were born in Iraq/states after O.D.S. with tumors, and others stuff from those bullets. i have been there, Egypt, Syria , Lebanon, and Israel, long before you even new where it was! probably before you were even born.

  • @MrDirtyrook you are talking about depleted uranium rounds from the abrams. LOL. in 3 tours, ive not seen an abrams tank here and ive been in every major city from baghdad to mosul. So again, i say get your facts straight. We get mortared 4 times a week atleast, and not one shot has been fired in retaliation because the threat hasnt been positively identified, so to minimize the number of civilian casualties, the right thing to do is not fire back. Dont speak on what u dont know truly.

  • @MrDirtyrook You're referring to science. Not all Philosophy is based on logic and reasoning, or even fact for that matter. Much of philosophy is subjective and relative. Philosophy is equal parts Epistemology, which are moral "beliefs" and logic. Also, when you really think about it, your logic might not be my logic, making both "beliefs" until they can be proven with science... making it more science than Philosophy. You must have either "googled" philosophy or failed that class entirely.

  • @MCTimeTraveler man, if all these so called Rich kids were the only people in college, the government would not have to have national programs like Pell, direct fed loans, perkins loans, Hope ect. college has very little rich kids in it. i have never met a group of people so off basis. it is scary knowing you guys are American representative in another country. its no wonder most other nation's find Americans stupid. you guys are all over the map.

  • some things you just cant learn in a class room

  • I fail to see the connection between Philosophy and Slavery. I find it humorous that you would choose an example of slavery. Do you fail to see the irony. Slavery was abolished in America after the Civil War. Maybe someday you will actually sit down with an Afghan or Iraqi gain some perspective, something that philosophy courses in college can not offer you.

  • Comment removed

  • @jeclairm I am enrolled in a real program. We don't take philosophy; we take business ethics. And teleology tells us that an act is ethical if it produced the desired means. Saddam is out of power and I am going to a top 10 business school for free. Suck it.

  • Comment removed

  • Philosphy is a luxury afforded by those who are willing to fight for Liberty. So feel free to be cynical and I will continue to defend your right to do so. You can even question my Patriotism for serving in our current wars. Fortunately for you this luxury allows you to critic them without any real risk. For those of us who serve we can not choose our wars. Perhaps one day we can be fortunate enough that we will engage in a war that philosophers find worthy.

  • Comment removed

  • jeclairm must be Canadian to be so cynical about patriotism. And the Iraq war wasn't a needless war. It maxed out my GI Bill. So I get to laugh at students worried about their student loans. Thank you Uncle Sam.

  • Comment removed

  • @jeclairm

its really easy to call an enemy combatant a "civilian" when they don't wear uniforms.

its a shame you need a classroom to teach you philosophy. some of us manage to create a personal philosophy without having a teacher stuff ideologies down our throats and put words we don't understand into our mouths. you probably don't even understand the things you think, its just regurgitation. what a shame.

  • @MCTimeTraveler

doesn't matter where he's from he's just a flat out idiot. I remember back when I was in Arizona on operation jump start back in 07 and according to the sign on the marine corp air base we lost more guys on that base alone due to car accidents and DUIs than we did in Iraq.

  • @MCTimeTraveler And you, clearly have never been deployed to Afghanistan, where you would have seen countless members of the Canadian Army backing our asses up and fighting in the Kandahar AOR.

  • @public3n3my1 wow, have you ever heard the saying, its in the art of war, that if you have to resort to violence, then you have already lost. the reason they thought this, and the book is based on deception, is because they believed that if an individual used violence, they put their family, and the spirits of the dead family to shame, and it would create hardships for them in the after life.

  • you can't hug people with nuclear arms

  • I agree with this video. As a veteran currently enrolled in college, I hear so called "educated" people make random assumptions about the military and the Iraq war. I constantly have to chime in and make corrections. After I make the corrections they tell me I don't know what I'm talking about, then I let them know about my service history and deployments... man they look like such idiots after that... shuts them right the hell up.

  • @Tdfries - They're not shutting up because you're right: they're shutting up because you're going out of your way to interject that you're a trained-and-practiced killer.

Not trying to imply I know more than anyone about the wars (or anything else for that matter)... but I could end almost any conversation on any subject in the same manner by jumping in with "I once ate a baby."

  • @PuppetSoul Oh look, another ignorant person who proves my point. Thank you, "Smart" person.

  • @Tdfries Most troopers have no clue.................sorry. Been there done that--got the scars to prove it.

  • @Tdfries lol nice... I love the big mouths that think knows know because they saw it on history channel or the news

  • I'm not an American but I have to say this video is absolute genius.

  • crazy shit, i don't know what the dumb fake non existent girl bear is talking about, in this economy soldiers got a job/career, make really good money, PTSD, they gotta be fucking kidding, shit the average beer guzzling joe is much more prone to violence and crazy violent behavior compared to a G.I., just ram that big cock up a plastic bitch's ass at the club, and make her infatuated with you the next day by having her cook breakfast and wash your underwear, lol.

  • @kalai131 impressive speech?

  • YOU BOBMAN are what is know as a MOBY, look it up. Here's a hint, It's basically a lying ass liberal. You couldn't find IRAQ on a map and have NO idea what a Marine is! A TYPICAL WORTHLESS OBAMA VOTER!

  • Probably one of the most true videos I have ever watched. I have had many experiences similar to this in my leave after my deployments. Keep things like this coming!

  • @SkySoldierSam you need to get out more if this is the truest video you have ever seen.

  • As a college student, who is poly-sci minor, a proud daughter of a veteran AND in ROTC....this was pretty hilarious.

  • Freakin hilarious, could use some background graphics though, just grab a random college campus pic and throw it on there.

  • omg i have to go my bff Madison is texting me, we are going clubbing tonight ttyl

  • Too too too true.

  • Is it just me or is the picture messed up? Sometimes, I can see the video, but then it looks completely green...

  • @jeclaimr, your an idiot douche bag... And probably a poly-sci major who studied abroad in Italy.

  • @susicide dude thats not cool italys awesome, come on there are way more shitty European countries!

  • @ jeclaimr go fuck yourself

  • @jeclairm idiot.

  • @jeclairm

    What's your point?

  • @jeclairm....jeclairm, you are ignorant and i have no sympathy for that. god made some people dumb, but ignorance is a choice. why would someone choose that? (rhetorical)

  • @jeclairm...you are missing some points. they volunteer to die as well. or live in a combat zone getting shot at and having bombs thrown at them in their sleep. they volunteered to eat what resembles food and LIVE in a desert...indefinitely. have you ever been in a desert? do you know why they do it? they have something things that you have probably heard of but never experienced. they are senses of duty and honor. they represent this country, your country.

  • Comment removed

  • @1775ironmike as an individual with many friends whom have come back from Iraq totally screwed, i have to say that many of your unethical speech are appalling, and then you turn around an act like you are a country man with high sense of civility. one friend is a drunk/drug addict, never sleeps, and pisses himself. another can not even carry on a conversation, and yet another hit the deck when i through bottles in the trash can, he runs red lights all the time for no reason, and carries his gun!

  • @jeclairm...they stop bullies around the world. the main reason that they volunteer though, i think, is because there is no way in hell that they would let their friends and brothers go over there and do it without someone like them getting their backs. any more partial observations purposely limited to support an opinion that is uneducated, incomplete and displays your ignorance?

  • TYPICAL Obama voter! If they only had some idea what they are doing to THEIR country!

  • @tedm82 I'm an Proud Obama supporter and an Marine Iraqi War vet. WAS a Republican until I got back and realized how out of touch and/or amoral repubs, still insisting that the war was necessary. Your little comment about the 'typical obama voter' is about a far off as anything obama-bashers have to say; only, you guys are too intellectually numb to get it.

  • This woman's voice sounds like Jane Fonda.

  • This is fucking awesome. I have had conversations like this before.

  • this is amazing video and sadly so true

  • "you can't be this fuckin stupid." hahahha

  • lol yesss

  • every semester it's the same shit!!!

  • Awesome!
