  • Whoa, that was amazing O.O

  • I dont like it. For me it's not dance, it's just extensions...

  • She had me at the front aerial...

  • The reason why they are wearing ballet attire is because this is purely for technique, if you didn't get that from the title of the video. They are probably checking lines and placement, therefore costumes would be impractical.

  • Very impressive!!^^

  • speechless...incredible...I never know Chinese dance could be so beautiful

  • Does anyone know the name of this song?

  • godd! I love the pose at 1:29! (L)

  • Funny how she's dressed like a ballerina.

  • there is no word that can express this dance.

  • chinese classical dance is so beautiful! i may even like it more than ''normal'' classical ballet!! my gosh, she's so freakin atlethic!!

hmm i take lessons in a pretty good and high-level balletschool (in holland xD) but i'll NEVER get as good as this! =O

  • So good.

  • Interesting that this is not ballet, yet the dancers wear pink ballet tights, leotards and ballet slippers.

  • totaly beatyful

  • she is beautiful.... but what a horrible leotard, it looks really uncomfortable! a dress making her legs look longer would have been better.

  • ya, but it doesnt reely look uncomfortable

  • i no wat i meen

  • Divine. Absolutely perfect.

  • That was really beautiful. Those fouettes were amzing. And she made those ponches look soooo easy!

  • she's so beautiful

  • VERY GRACEFUL!

  • les lignes sont si pure ,pas une bavure !!!

la particularité qu'ont les chinois est sans doute de rendre harmonieux la virtuosité technique et l'expression artistique ,c'est pas toujours ébident pour un danceur !!!!

  • wow that was really good and lots of expression!! i also really liked her bodysuit the front of it was really pretty

  • really really good technique

  • this song was performed at the beijing closing ceremony

  • WOW absolutely divine!!!

  • awesome, best dance, best music ever.

  • Oh wow, she made my hair stand up~

How beautiful, the music is so identical to her exuding grace..

  • absolutly beautiful! she is the most amazing dancer i've ever seen. she can really touch the audience with the movements, i was mezmerized when i watched her! i really wish i could dance that good!

  • wow the position that she started in. I loved this i had tears in my eyes ive never seen anything like this before i must see more lol.

  • She has extremely beautiful dance expressions.. she can touch the audience indeed..

  • very good performance. lady able to put the feeling of dance into the cheography!

  • that arabesque at the beginning...wow!

  • sexy tights and Leotard

  • the post i just made should have been a response to this...haha :)

  • Well, I dont think there is an English term for the "helicopter turns" :P I guess you could call it a helicopter turn haha. But in Chinese, its called dian bu fan sen (directly translated:tap step flip...hahahaha) when she does it in place (first time she does them). The ones where she does it across the floor is called cuan fan sens (directly translated: jumping flips :P).

  • Haha... your direct translation is so funny but so right. xD

  • Oh my God this is amazing!! beautiful!! ive never seen something like that! How she moves, the accents wow!!

  • holy crap amazing extension!!

  • aww I LOVE IT!....so neat - love the choreo keep doing wt ur doin!

  • Good extension.....but i don't like the ballet...

  • It's not ballet. As the title implies, it's Chinese Classical Dance.

  • ^^ it's beautiful, I'd like be accept in a good dance school when I go in china for my study in shanghai ^^

(sorry my english not very good ^^ I'm french and my parents born in china [wen zhou])

  • Good luck. =) I heard it's really competitive in China though.

  • yes yes very competitive

and the best dance schools in china are the beijing dance academy and the military =P

  • is it really?? i knew beijing dance academy was great but i never knew that the military was good too! ive seen a couple of dances by the military and i didnt care much for them...except for this one korean one in the lotus cup...=P

i was always under the impression that sichuan and shanghai were among the top schools as well

but then again i dont know much about the dance schools in china so im probably completely wrong =P

  • well in the competition the schools make sure that the military and bei jing dance academy are not in the same sections because it would be too hard a decision for the judges. also those two schools are the best in china. =P

i studied in bei jing dance academy a couple times and their classes are intense. the good students have their own classes and the train basically 12 hours a day (i was put off easy and only recieved 8 hours a day) =P

  • wow.

  • Because this is classical Chinese dance, not ballet. You can't use ballet's standard to judge something that is not a foutte.

  • those were not fouttes those were grandes

her flexibility was her strongest point

  • beautiful and absolutely amazing techinque! wats the name of the song?

  • beautiful and graceful
