Cornell's voice sounded like shit in the Audioslave days, when he was struggling with alcoholism and drug addiction, but now he's clean and sober, his voice is great once more. The new Soundgarden material (which is a re-write of a song from the Badmotorfinger sessions, with old and new vocals stitched together imperceptibly) is just fantastic - you can't even hear where the new and old meet. SO looking forward to the new Soundgarden album. One long overdue and very welcome reunion!

if u look at the kind of music MJ made at that time (1982) the track "Billie Jean" i think reflects the meaning of the song perfectly. but i dont know wtf the guitar solo is doing in there. and if u listen to the song it has a darkish cling to it, and yes this guy can sing but to cover a mj song and make it your "own" (if u know what i mean) is, im afraid to say it, feakin impossible :)

I think Chris really brings the feeling of this song to life. We can't deny what it did for MJ, but I've always felt this song had a sad story line to it. I feel Chris captured that in this version, just remarkable what he can do with what God gave him.

The chorus is a bit too discordant, especially the "She's just a girl who says I am the one" part. This is a very hard song to sing and Cornell doesn't have the range of Michael Jackson. But still, nice cover.
