Holy crap I've never seen such a thing and I grew up in the Bedford Park/Chicago end on 64th and Meade (used to get chased out of the switchyard all the time) and later at 58th and Newland near Harlem Ave. They're sure coming up with the cheapest and easiest way to get more and more Chinese crap to us quick arent they? How long are those, they look a lot longer than 53 ft.
Understood. I just get angry when i think someone is ripping on rail fans. I know a lot of times when you are watching trains there will be people make fun of you, but not me brother! I am 5'11 243 and I power lift, so its funny to see some jerk off in a car try nto laugh at me then they take off. Besides we go into some bad spots in the city to railfan, but that makes it more fun. Good luck on the rail! I will say that I dont like having to run NS units where I work. luck to ya brother
I don't recall saying rail fans are nerds! It is what it is. Building them isn't all that bad it is waiting for the trailers to air up That is the boring part. Our Hostlers take more time than it should to air them up. God forbid you have a bad mode valve or blown airbag.
IKTWISTED???? HMMMMM, how many years do you have on the rails? Who do you work for? Lets see the big deal is simple people are rail fans, just like some moron at a drag strip with a ford hat on yelling and waving at his fav drag racer. Understand!? And no rail fans are not nerds. I sereved in the military, bdoy build and have a job that may even be on the rail road??????
i know that crazy guy.what's funny is i'm a huge railfan who lived in clearing and burbank.i now live in tennessee.that guy in the video when i come up on vacation every year i always run into him watching trains.pretty smart about trains.not crazy just excited about trains and likes to talk to people about them
I'm starting to see a lot more UP around here. Around the EJ&E yard, where a lot of my vids are taken, UP runs a few trains. Mostly coal and autos. CP runs there too. The other day, I saw one of those ES44AC GEVOS and a KCS Dash-9 departing onto EJ&E's Northern Sub.

Nice vid, too bad Mr."Railfan" interfered with the shooting. I guess he was so excited that he didn't notice the camera and tripod.

KCS doesn't own a Dash-9. Must have been one of their AC44s
