  • did you guys use okoume ? what epoxy do you use ?

wood, although not so technically advanced so we think... is still a (at least) natural way to build (dont count the epoxy) and its strength is amazing. Bamboo reinforcing could show up too.

  • Great job, fantastic catamaran

  • Yeah i thought the same thing ," nails on chalk board" lol

  • Hey cut that sandpaper cound out, fingers on a blackboard.

  • It´s just fantastic! What a great way to live!

    Very inspiring!

  • Absolutely Awesome,

    What a beautifull concept

  • WOOD is GOOD

  • but, STEEL is REAL!

  • Real stinky and heavy! And cold.Oh... and sinks. And rusts. Wood is Good.

  • i understand the sentiment towards wood boats. i've fished on wood, fiberglass, and steel boats. wood boats just have a more comfortable feel to them. my grandfather was a wooden boat builder, so was my great uncle. well my great uncle still is. he is 80 some odd years old and he just completed building a lobster boat by himself. every boat he has built since the 80's he says it will be his last boat he makes, but he cant help himself. just has to keep at it =D

  • then are you saying wood is fake?

  • I couldn't have said that better! Great job guys & Ash!
