this whole thing is freakin ridicolous! simon admitted Last season they watch the dress rehearsals and thats why he doesnt even watch the contestants on the live shows. instead, hes watching paula all the time. But when simon said it, it didnt become a huge controversy! in fact it didnt create any headlines at all! but now when paula says it. it suddenly becomes news story of the month!!? it is soo obvious the Only reason the media cares about this is because it is Paula!

The comments didn't even sound like Paula. It was way to the point and didn't even have one compliment..she usually always says something nice first! Watch how she reads the notes..its like she's reading a book or something she had not seen until that moment.

Now I totally understand why Jason was put to safety first and why he had many parts in the group performance...to cover up Paula's shit. That didn't work! They should've apologized because thats so cruel what effin Paula did!!

I agree with judy. Dunkelman said a couple of weeks ago that producers meet days before the performances to decide who is to be panned or praised in order to manipulate the public into voting the way they want. It was obviously deemed Jason's time to go and Paula was given her script. If the truth was something as simple as her having seen rehearsal and made notes, then they would have said so. Instead it's been lies, lies and more lies in response. Disgusting.

i dont think idol really proves itself to be complex enough to have a conspiracy theory... why would the producers care what order the finalists land in? their concern is the winner and the winner is always obvious right from the beginning of the season, good or bad critique. Besides, Paula could NEVER handle a script.

Right on! I don't even think that Paula's comments WERE from the rehearsals. I think she is told ahead of time what to say. I think the judges are told to praise or criticize certain contestants.
