In a pinch store bought is fine to use. Fresh almond milk is not pasteurized and heated at an extremely high temperature, which kills the living enzymes.
@godofpeach90 They make commerical Almond milk simply by pressing almonds, or masticating them, and by adding up to 80% water. Depending on the protein ratio.
