Same thing happened to me in welding class, teacher explained everything to fast and by the time I started I forgot how to turn off the machine and zapped my eyes cause of it twice by the time someone had to help me out.
and that is why you keep your helmet still down until you have everything clear of the rod so this dosn't happen plus he should be wearing a pair of safety glasses under that helmet
ok for all u ppl laughing he clda went blind and that wlda burnt his eyes,i welded for the first time today and its so hot,just doing it burnt my arms,and if u were to look at it without a mask not on vid,it would blind u,so stfu
@Juiceboxx03 ruth, i dont know, but its true, it couldve blinded him, i almost blinded my friend cuz wen he went to flip his mask down it didnt go and i thought it did, anyway
@tyme18 you're bound to make mistakes when you're welding and you're bound to get burned, arc eyes, etc. you're not gonna go full on blind from getting flashed once but it's still important to be careful.
