  • great video, thanks.

i'm an amateur glassblower and flameworker, and i love sandblasting.

the soda glass i blow on GH takes sandblasting very well,

the Borosilicate (pyrex) glass i use on the torch - not so.

    any advice ?

    i use mesh 100 carbide.

  • @catman72 Thanks for the comliments. If the glass is very hard it will not sandblast as easily. I find a big difference between sandblasting glass and crystal for example. Soda glass is hard, so your pyrex glass I imagine is very hard.

  • What's the name of that purple sticky paper?

and how much does a sandblaster cost? average quality.

  • @MzAgYaH

The purple "sticky paper" is APM Plus film. Sandblasters cand be hundred or thousands of £, depends where you are in the world and what size you want. Just google them :-)

  • What size is the air compressor?

  • That old desktop sandblaster had a 50 litre tank compressor.
