  • "Who was he?"

    "He was all of us."

  • V was too amazing for this world.. he's... he's in a better place now.... *bursts into tears* WHY?! OH WHYYYYYYY?!?!?! D'x

  • Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a bygone vexation stands vivified, and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition! .......

  • Could he say anymore V's? haha I know silly I love it though!

  • I thought that Gorden was dead. Look carefully in 13:05 and you will see him in the crowd.

  • Why does she sound Australian in this film?

  • It's amazing how such a poor film can become so popular. Like a Guy Ritchie film or any part of the Twilight Saga, I suppose...

  • @WoolyJoe This film? Poor? I do hope you're talking about something else...

  • Please like this if you are not British and knew the Guy Fawkes Day rhyme before watching this movie. :)

  • Is it just me or does V sort of resemble the Joker? What was it that the Joker said in Dark Knight? "Look what I did to this city with a few drums of gas and a couple of bullets." Of course, V's not evil (but then, neither is the Joker really, at least not in the traditional sense).

  • ON THE 5TH OF NOVEMBER

CHANGE YOUR FACEBOOK PROFILE PICTURE TO V FOR VENDETTA

FIND THE FACEBOOK GROUP, JOIN UP AND PASS THE LINK ON.....

  • i love this movie

  • how many words did he say that started with V

  • @waloopyman 48 i think

  • @LeakproofPanic HAHAHA

  • @waloopyman

Good point, I hope no one makes a drinking game out of it- the whole room would die of alcohol poisoning!

  • @narutosfreakyfangirl For real HAHAH

  • ´´Are you like a crazy person?´´ xDD

  • just fell in love with it........

  • So glad the directors didn't take this graphic novel and slaughter it to living hell.

  • Although I do like the ending in the novel better, where Evey becomes V after the original dies.

  • Its Stephen Fry !!!! within the crowds...near the finale at 13:05...

  • @Richelieu24 well he is in the film???

  • what my friend said to me is that V comes off as such a know it all douche at first but he shows compassion later on which is why he liked him i think... i just love V because he's the best hero/villian since the dawn of time XD lol mostly because he's a smarty pants which again is a nice change. lol my iq went up when i watched this

  • 8:35 pure defeat. why won't you die?

  • How appropriate that this film was released at the height of the Bush administration's nazi bullshit.

  • To the people claiming it's unnacurate that the gun only has 5 bullets this is false. Most higher caliber revolvers have a 5 shell capacity due to weight and size limitations.

On an unrelated note awesome movie

  • @gwash88MVF

It could also be from the one shot that Creedy used on Sutler. Just saying

  • @williefish0 Can't be, he reloaded :P

  • people should not be afraid of their government

the government should be afraid of their people

    V

  • @spartatowar oh but the government is afraid of the people becuz we out number them so they kill us off slowly with whats called soft kills E.A poisning the water and food or makeing m=virses that attack r emunsistums

  • I'd make love to Natalie Portman.

  • 03:07 WTF IS UGLY BETTY DOING IN THIS MOVIE!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • V: Who, who is but the form following the function of what, and what I am is a man in a mask

    Ev: I can see that

V: Of course you can, I'm not questioning your powers of observation I'm merely remaking upon the paradox of asking a masked man who he is?

Luv that!! What a powerful script!

  • @katarole Alan Moore is a literary genius, and i can assure you that any and all intelligence in the script is unabashedly taken and used from his subject material just like in watchmen. the dialogue from the original novel stands by itself as more than intellectually capable of turning a movie into a philosophical experience worthy of the most respectable awards in all of hollywood. imo. :)

  • @theSneakySasquatch So true - I absolutely love Moore, it's a shame little credit is given to such phenomenal writers!

  • @katarole i know! all because the form of the entertainment medium that they poured their genius into doesnt appeal to the broadest audience. his writing is as intelligent as almost any writer i can think of, but i really must wonder about his beliefs. while ive yet to delve deep into v for vendetta ive gone over watchmen several times, and it is just as depressing as it is intensely interesting in its viewpoint of the world, and the value of life in it.

  • man i want that mask so i could wear it everyday

  • i wrote smt really deep but i dont know why on hell they scissored it

  • if you can say al those V words withoug a script yor a frickin genioun

still on of the best films of all time IMO for its great views on how the government should be scared of us not us scares of them

Remember, remember the 5th of November, the gun powder treason and plot. I know of no reason why the gun powder treason should ever be forgot.

    -V

  • neoreaper99 you got a wrong remark. If Che had a son it would be V for sure.

  • this will happen in iran,,, it has already began...

the ayatollah is shaking... the basij is melting

people have spoken... the government is shaken

no matter how much they have taken... history is not forsaken

and the vendetta is all so bright, not forgetting

remembering whats right, now the ayatollahs are left begging

  • However, this valorous visitation of a bygone vexation stands vivified, and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin, van guarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and veracious violation of volition.

  • OH GOD SO MANY V's!!!

    *Brain explodes*

  • @Tailsfan98 Hahahaha ikr! :D

  • Why his magnum only shot 5 bullets? at: 8:25 I mean? I tought he reloaded at 7:50? :/

  • @Nonicknameforyou

Guess he shouldn't have used that one bullet playing Russian Roulette with his buddies earlier huh?

  • british zorro?

  • Ironic, isn't it, that John Hurt, who portrayed protagonist Winston Smith in the film adaptation of George Orwell's 1984 plays the villainous autocrat Chancellor Sutler? Even the "V" iconography of 1984's INGSOC is turned on its head in V. =^[.]^=

  • It is time for FIAT currencies around the world.....to.....DIE.

  • he just needs Geas And and a green haired know it all chick.

    (insider joke)

  • i lost him at "man in a mask"

  • 71 people are from the goverment

  • The New World will be built on the ruins of the Old...

    It's a good thing.

  • ideas are bulletproof..

  • @MrJonaros87 Oh! V...! T-T

  • V is like the lovechild of Morpheus and The Joker.

  • V just replaced Batman as my second favorite hero.

  • @DiehardMechWarrior whos your favorite

  • @MrThenFamous

Deadpool. Will always be Deadpool. Though that might change...

  • it looks so beautiful... when the parlament blows up, when that "symbol" dies...

  • I love this movie.

  • lol @ republicans giving this a thumbs down.

  • today is brought to you by the the letter V.....

  • Liberalism: Freedom over equality

    Socialism: Equality over freedom

Even the word "liberate" means "to free".

The last 3 persons, you see at the demolition of Parliament, are dead.

  • Probably one of THE most Liberal films ever...

  • remember , remember the 5 of november, my day of birt.

  • @heratos34 remember, remember, nah. i give up.

  • i think if anyone hates this movie, its those with a tyrranical disposition, tyrants may be of any political standing, whether they be left-winged socialists/communists, desiring to dominate by beurocracy backed by military in the guise of a "peoples party" or right wing capitalist theocrats who support cencorship in the name of morality, seeking to dominate either by forcing the laws of religion on everyone, or equating money with power, making the wealthy the ruling class, either way its wrong

  • 69 liberals viewed this.

  • @buttlescutt That's funny because this is a VERY left-wing film, so more likely 3496 Liberals viewed this...

  • @fredsta125 I guess it's all in the interpretation....to each his own.

  • @buttlescutt Why would "liberals" dislike this. If anything right-wing conservatives would dislike it, considering that is the government that V overthrew was a right-wing religious theocracy. Clearly someone doesn’t know about their political ideologies.

  • @JosefVStalin I guess you're right, I can see how liberals would love this film because ultimately, per the actions taken by V, the government would be shut down but replaced by either a socialistic or communistic government. mission accomplished! Voila! So, I guess I must admit, I didn't look too deeply into the plot originally except to see that a bunch of fascist government officials trying to rule with an iron fist got shut down. That, I am for...socialism, communism? No Thanks!

  • @buttlescutt You couldnt be more wrong. The last ppl to give this a thumbs down would be liberals.

  • Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin van-guarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition.

The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a.....

  • ...votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous.

Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it's my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V.

  • are you like a crazy person ?

  • "My turn!"

    kick ass!!

  • HE SURE CAN KICK ASS AS A LAWYER

  • what's the music that starts 3:00?

  • @RysioACF The music is Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture. It is traditionally played with the sound of cannons at the end, so the explosions fit right in.

  • @djcavanaugh Very nice piece. Thanks!

  • @RysioACF The 1812 Overture (finale) by Tchaikovsky.

  • Should've bought in SMGs and Rocket Launchers if they're so cocky and scared of death at the same time.... or better yet, GTFO as fast as you can once the business as been done.

  • My favorite part is when V get mad at Evey for saying "I hate you"

  • "Ideas are bullet proof" - Inception the movie...

  • 0:40 when she first met V. She had no fuckin idea what she was getting herself into :P

  • beneath this mask there is an idea

  • what is the song playing in 03:31

  • HELLO HELLO HELLO

  • wordgasm

  • He's the batman of his time......

  • @hivecluster5 dude...if batman and chuck norris had a son it would be V.

  • @neoreaper99 didn't know that homosex can make children.

  • @neoreaper99 lol Bruce Lee has got to be incorporated into there somehow lol

  • @neoreaper99 True

  • @neoreaper99 I was actually think that V could be the son of Zorro and the Mad Hatter (because of his insane rhyming ability)

  • @neoreaper99 why would two guys have a baby? lol

  • @kolona45 because during chuck and batman's steamy man sex there sperm have fights and chucks beat batman's sperm in to fertile eggs and fuck there tiny sperm minds out creating a sperms sperm that is part sperm part egg it becomes and then the whole normal pregnancy thing goes down and v is born out of bat mans ass

  • @insomproducts wtf? lmao

  • what is the name of the song at 3:05 ?

  • @TheAndreisukaru 1812 Overture by Tchaikovsky

  • @TheAndreisukaru

i think the song was done by Beethoven but i could be mistaken

  • @DarkFires012 It's the "1812 Overture"

  • @DarkFires012 chaikovsky

  • @TheAndreisukaru

did some looken around cause i wanted the song 2 and found it i was wrong with the 1st thing but the important part is the song name is

    Overture 1812

  • I love how V talks to Evee in the beginning. He's like a schoolboy talking to his crush, only with a much higher level of vocabulary.

  • V FOR VAGINA.

  • Eyegasm

  • 13:06

i thought the girl in the glasses was shot to death???

  • @mewantcool Hey ya you're right WTF

  • @mewantcool It's a metaphor

  • @mewantcool

"And while the truncheon may be used in lieu of conversation, words will always retain their power."

"Beneath this mask there is more than just flesh... beneath this mask, there is an idea, and ideas Mr. Creedy, are bulletproof".

I hope these quotes help you interpret the ending.

  • ok ok we get it, you know a lot of words which begin with v. geesh

  • look per first part in italian "v per vendetta" i think that is better in italian

  • great movie! I will never get tired of V's intro, one of these days I intend to memorize it lol.

  • This movie is the best thing that ever happened to my eyes.

  • amazing!!!!

  • 1:34 wtf look are you like a crazy person??? actual lol

  • By far one of the greatest movies ever made!!!!!!!!!! But the graphic novel has some differences, it poses V as a true adherent of anarchism, and not exactly as a hero as he's portrayed in the film. Its eventually upto the audience to decide whether he's hero, villain, or merely the protagonist and a pivotal stepping stone in a vehement chain of events.

  • 13:06 wasnt that guy dead ? D: i know he got executed

  • @RoFLDraGoNxD You may notice that many ppl in the crowd were killed before. This is not a mistake, it is supposed to show how their influence on the final event lived on.

  • man i love his deep voice, very becoming

  • that is BY FAR the best fight scene ive seen in a movie to date.

  • best of v for vendetta, but lacking the best scene....the televised speech. :( FAIL.

  • I remember the passage when one of the guy who helps the hero and the heroin, held a holy Quran hidden in a secret room and is killed because of its possession...

Looks like the Nazi forbidding the Torah and jewish books in the early 20th

Well it seems like it's happening again to the Quran...

  • heh, 'are you like a crazy person'?

  • REMEMBER REMEMBER THE 5TH OF NOVEMBER!!!

  • hes like jack sparrow mixed with vega looool

  • Just gotta love V's way with words and his sense of humor :>

  • real good movie, but always curious as to the voice of v

  • @jerflm4 It is Hugo Weaving. He is probably best known as Agent Smith from the Matrix Trilogy.

  • a humble victim and villain dilwala sohabee lives on..................

  • @sybnios

    M for monarchy

Well, liberal monarchy. But that'd not flow as well...

  • Hugo Weaving is so good

  • I just didn't get why when he was in the standoff everyone went for body shots, all it took was a head or ankle shot and he would be gone lol

  • @thecetera

He got headshot. He wore a bulletproof Guy Fawkes mask, remember (remember the 5th of Nov.(.

  • Omg i only just realised now that he really does say "V" alot. huh.

  • 1:30 ARGH, MOTHERFUCKING MINDFUCK!

  • remember remember the 5th of november

  • The only word that starts with V that is not in this movie is Vagina.

  • You can kill the revolutionary, but you cannot kill the revolution.

  • question youtubers, who would win: The Joker or V?

  • @gangrelsblood7742007 totally V. The classic Joker is too worried about his own life. Heath's Joker really wasn't too concerned, but still wanted to save his skin. V had already accepted a long time ago that his death would be a natural event to make his dream come true. Those who would die willingly AND have immense intelligence are far more dangerous than a crazy guy who laughs a lot.

  • @PureSniperWolf What on Earth are you talking about? The Joker doesn't give a shit if he dies. He wants Batman to kill him! If Batman kills Joker, then Batman loses the psychological struggle against Joker that they have been fighting since the very first Batman comic to the Dark Knight film. That being said, V would probably kill Joker in a one on one fight, but the Joker would never allow that confrontation to happen because he is a psychopathic genius.
