  • This was VERY FUNNY!!!

  • Hilarious! As a Baptist organist for many years, I can't tell you how many times I "cheated" when the minister said, "With every head bowed, and every eye closed...." I looked many times!

  • This was awesome. I have to look around for confessions of a choir director, confessions of a deacon, and confessions an usher parts one two and three. Great Job!

  • "What key am I in?" I know this one very well .

  • Great - I'm an atheist - and a organist - most vicors etc - don't as I'm quite good. Just see it all as theatre.

  • @BradSSFL Not so

  • Guilty of a few of those things myself. especially when playing while a collection is being taken and you are trying to keep an eye on those who are taking it.

  • Being an organist myself, I exactly feel the same way. So many things to do for organists. I wish I could concentrate on playing the organ!

  • Gee, I would hate to have a cell phone go off when I am in church...and wow, there is a new Cathedral project in my town and they are still working on it. I do not want to have to have a cell phone go off during the FIRST MASS! That was just be an irritation to me!

  • THIS IS SO TRUE!!!!!!!!!!! I have done just about every thing mentioned here, lol, even the cell phone in a church service and a graduation commencement AND I AM ONLY 14! LORD HELP!!!!!!!

  • HAha Thats so true... everyword about it... im only 14 but i do sub alot around my dioceses and thats so true!

    Thank YOU!

  • Greetings~ It has been a year since you created and posted this video... Ummmm, would you please create and post Confessions of the Organist, Part II?

Oh, um, I assume you are a church organist... Is my assumption correct?

    Many thanks in advance.

    And God bless...

  • So funny! I've played for church for 50+ years...and this was great!

  • I used to be the organist and this reminds me of what was going on in my mind.

  • very funny!!!!! that is great!!!!

  • Lol! Yup, done most of that myself - the cell phone too!

  • I had to laugh at this one. For those of us who play in Catholic choir lofts, there is the agony of watching 25% of the congregation walk out during the recessional hymn, which is standard practice in most Catholic churches, while 50% of the remainder stays only until the 2nd verse ends. Also, don't forget cyphers, tuning issues, and that 4' SW to GT coupler that sometimes stays on.

  • I've been an organist since age 11, and I'm STILL struggling against a disproportionate sense of my own importance. This was a hilarious and helpful clip for me! Play on...

  • I can agree as an Organist... I think the same thing... It cracks me up to watch this... DO MORE

  • bahahahahahaha

    That was AWESOME!!! :D

  • did she played barefoot?

  • lol. boy what a blabber daydreamer.

  • There are so very many of us that can relate to this one. So very true...we do get lost in our work. I loved it! Please do another.

    Thanks Cheri.

Your former piano teacher in Ks.

  • As an organist myself, I absolutely LOVED this. The cell phone thing was hysterical. Please do more. Please!
