    Nemo!

  • this aint nemo dude.

nemo referes to a true percular oscellaris.

ur clown fish is a false prec aka not nemo.

  • Actually Nemo was an Anemone Clownfish or Amphiprion Ocellaris if you want to get technical. And these look like they are True Perculas or Amphiprion Percula, minus the dark area around the white bars.

  • thankyou finally someone whos not a freakin pussy nemo lover its ocellaris not nemo u fags

  • yup this is true and you guys want to know how we know this! well simple guys. true perc and false perc.

true perc=nemo= orange lining around the outside dimple of the eye.

false perc=these clowns in the video, more common, eye+dimple round outside all black!

  • No, "nemo" is a NAME that refers to a fictional childrens movie character... not any specific species.

  • Geez, when will this stupid Nemo craze end?!

    Its an ocellaris clownfish.

    OCELLARIS CLOWNFISH.

Anemone fish, false percula, clownfish, clown, ocellaris, whatever, but its not Nemo!

  • if it isnt nemo wat is it??? hmmmmm????? nemo is orange. nemo is a fish. nemo is a clown. THAT IS NEMO. nemo is clownfish. =) idk bout dory "justkeepswimmin"????

  • yes temperature over 28 degree

  • what type of anemone is that? anybody know?

  • pink bubbletip, Entacmaea quadricolor, looks like

  • possibly a rose bubble

  • that is awsome

  • clowns sex themselves, usually when paired with another, and yes the bigger of the two is female, but if its an unpaired clown chances are it hasnt sexed yet and its neither male or female

  • How do i know which one is the female and male when i go and buy from a pet store? will they tell me which is the female and male? im afraid they would try to lye and sell me 2 males or 2 females X_X

  • The Female Is Larger Than The Male. They Change Sex When There Is A Group Of Male Clownfish. The Dominant Male Turns Into The Female And Then Voila Alot Of Babies =(

  • @RAWfart biggest fish is female others r males

  • @RAWfart Clown fish change sexes, the bigger one is always the female and any others are purely male. For each school of clown fish, there is only one mating pair.

  • @RAWfart Clown fish change sexes, the bigger one is always the female and any others are purely male. For each school of clown fish, there is only one mating pair.

  • @RAWfart they change sex.... the males are smaller.

  • @RAWfart there all born boys so the domanant one turns female and the second most domanont fish becomes its mate

  • has any of the eggs hatched and are they alive

  • no

    parents eat all eggs

  • thats not being very good parents. lol

  • your full of it then why is the name nemo has baby

  • If you wanted to know how to sex them in general, perhaps you should have asked that specifically. To answer your new question simply.... You can't tell. Their exactly the same externaly. Their hermaphroditic, if you buy two, the larger one will end up (Change sex if need be)the famale, and the smaller will be the male. Whay would you want to Identify a female anyway?? theres no benefit to having a one sex over the other, unless you have some sort of strange fish fetish.

  • How the hell do they change sex?!?! sounds like a bunch of bull shIT! to me!

  • read up on it. There's a really cool search engine called Google, it's been around for a while, you might have heard of it. Finding answers for yourself is quite satisfying. You should try it some time.

  • Yea I found a lot of that stuff >_> I still refuse to believe in it! I MEAN HOW CAN SOMETHING JUST "CHANGE SEX OUT OF NO WHERE"!? X_X this is insanity! lol

  • as long as ur at a respected saltwater store (not petco or other shitty places like that) they should have no problem telling you what sex the clowns are, and anyways you can just tell by watching them for 2 mins if theyre paired or not

  • Petco's is bad?!?! lol X_X what about petsmart or something like that (not sure if thats the name) what are some of the names of the pet stores u go to? and where do u live?!?!

  • petco sucks, and so does petsmart, i live in buffalo ny, my local store is called Reef Creations, theres a video here on youtube, just search reef creations

  • my bad, search "A Reef Creation"

  • thanks!

  • Ok. I did answer you question. Perhaps if you wanted to know how to tell a female from a male in general, you should have worded your question differently.

The simple answer to you new question simply... you can't. They look exactly the same. Their hermaphroditic, if you buy two, the larger one will end up the female of the pair, and the smaller one male.

  • but if you buy two it doesnt mean you would get a pair i would say get about 4 and then the largest one would be you female but great video dude

  • excellent video, great timing. Mine always do this early morning, and I never get to see them =(

  • The female is larger than the male. If you look closely you can tell which one is female quie easily, she lays the eggs, followed by the male who comes in to fertilise them.

  • i know how to tell the male from the female one is bigger and dark orange and one is small and light orange am i right

  • i'm wondering if the things sticked on the rocks are eggs?

  • yes

  • wah, beautiful, you are lucky to catch this great moment n especially thanks for showing to us, enjoy it very much, great job, boy.

  • very fertile clown pair and nice shot, very clear
