You know, the same week that Australian PM Julia Gillard put through a carbon tax (against the will of the overwhelming majority) she coincidentally raised the debt ceiling by 50 BILLION dollars. Not only that, she removed the legal clause that governments need to go through parliament to get a majority vote to raise debt in future. Now they can raise debt as much as they like.

If anyone thinks carbon taxes are anything more than revenue raisers, think again. I'm off to raise my CO2 footprint

The global temperature has always risen and fallen throughout history, in fact in medievil times the UK was akin to the tropics and then hundreds of years later we frze to death in a mini iceage, in fact the thames froze over. We are currently getting towards the peak og the "hot" period again, this is caused by sun spot activity and has nothing to do with medievil or tudor motorcars or boeings crossing ye old england.
