Horrible Histories always has the most interesting facts, but they forgot to say that ALL Spartans (Full blooded Spartans, had Spartan parents, went through the egoge eduaction system, and was a full time soldier) were all homosexuals. They weren't allowed to get married until very late. The young trainee soldiers all slept with their mentors. Trust me I would know, I studied Spartan society to the battle of Eleuctra in 375 bc for 1 year.
