I love the show. It is what it is. We have all kind of people in our community just like any faith. I think it's great to have administrating the reality of different families within our faith. Not everyone is following everything and not everyone is bad. What you see on the show is just sample of the reality, go to Arab countries and you will think you are in Europe not in Muslim Country. Islam was spun off of Christianity, which also preaches feeding the poor. I think their countries do spend more on welfare than, say, America. But that is just about the only Islamic virtue. Not all of them defend terror, but they support a religion that does. I have no idea of the % that support it, but there's a lot. I won't deny that.
@failurbanik I am appalled by Islam as much as you are. I support the war against terror. Don't mistake my view of Islam. I find it abhorrent, vile and dangerous. I think the Koran more properly belongs in the trash than in my library. But then people wouldn't be able to see how deplorable it is. My guess is most Muslims are decent people. In fact I think most ppl are better than their religions which- with the exception of Eastern religions tend to be inconsistent at best.
While the bulk of intolerance tends to be in Arab countries there is also persecution of Buddhists & Christians in Indonesia so that info is wrong. There are also horror stories in Pakistan where ongoing atrocities toward Christians who got trapped on the wrong side of the partition goes under reported.

@failurbanik Well, they contend that feeding their OWN people is a virtue of Islam, but then again they say peace is also a virtue of Islam. Islam was spun off of Christianity, which also preaches feeding the poor. I think their countries do spend more on welfare than, say, America. But that is just about the only Islamic virtue. Not all of them defend terror, but they support a religion that does. I have no idea of the % that support it, but there's a lot. I won't deny that.

My guess is most Muslims are decent people. In fact I think most ppl are better than their religions which- with the exception of Eastern religions tend to be inconsistent at best.
While the bulk of intolerance tends to be in Arab countries there is also persecution of Buddhists & Christians in Indonesia so that info is wrong. There are also horror stories in Pakistan where ongoing atrocities toward Christians who got trapped on the wrong side of the partition goes under reported.
