It sucks that you need another player for this to work. No one plays survival at all, not even a little.

You say the it BDCing doesn't help with the wrecking ball, but I beg to differ. The speed at which the ball hits Gergoth, and then again after cancelling it seems much quicker that waiting for it to swing around again.

well its official..... im completely f@#ked in this game since im gonna need those rings which one can be bought after beating normal mode [i havent even passed it yet because of the damn grim reaper] and the other one can be found in hard mode...... and that will be unlocked when i beat normal mode which i havent passed...... leveling up sucks in this game

Holy crap survival mode really does level the secondary weapons???Ha no wonder!

So it seems like it was legitamitaely put in for this purpose because its so pointless otherwise . Thanks for sharing .

As cool as it is that you can throw out so many items/magic so quickly, the turbo itself doesn't help Jonathans leveling. All this does is kill the boss extremely quick and make you stand there for about 2 minutes after. If you use normal button mashing and backdash cancelling the boss will usually die around a minute give or take and you get the same amount of leveling as you would with turbo. Also, this is counter productive ie Water, Axe, Bible, etc as multiple hits will miss. Still cool tho.

I was actually trying to level up Jonathan the old fashioned honest way and it would literally take 28 years to do so. Where do you get the Master and Astral Ring? All I get are pendant and some lame crap.

@y643ffw Master ring can be bought in the shop after completing normal mode. Astral ring can be found in chest and boss drops on hard (I find them all the time on stage six hard mode)
