I hope you have a tune from the bolt ons and the rpm your shifting at. I have a 370 as well with similar mods, a tune is an absolute must with that many bolt ons. You'll be amazed at the difference a proper fuel air ratio will make.

One last thought is that this car weighs roughly the same as the Corvette and is more than 500 pounds lighter than the Camaro. I have full coil over suspension, lowered 1.25", have aftermarket sway bars, camber plates with -2.1 degree camber all around and am running RE11 Potenza's, 275/40/19 front, 305/35/19 rear. It handles way better than my corvette did with the same size tires. On the track, this car is faster than my Corvette at every point except in a straight line.

To answer the criticisms, yes, it is more expensive than a Mustang, slower than a Corvette in all aspects and slower than the new Camaro in the quarter mile. But, it is a nicer car than all of them. I've owned supercharged Mustang Cobra with IRS and I traded in my 2006 Z51 Corvette for this. The Camaro was my first choice for a new car until I drove one. The Camaro is too heavy and doesn't handle well. The build quality on the Z is far superior to any US sports car. Go drive one, u'll C.

@ldmcnutt man i test drove a Z and an SS the other day and the Z blew the doors off the Camaro. Like you said the Camaro was wayy to heavy and just wasn't as fun to drive as the Z is. I'm picking up a Z in a few months :)

ok bud u obviously no nothing about cars....the v6 camaro wouldnt stand up against the 370 z. the 5.0 mustang is stock, and it will crush the Z, the ls3 vette is maybe a tad comparable to the z, but the z06 is not. and the z06 1/8 mile speed is more then some cars 1/4 speed. and for the 3.3 i meant 3.6(i used the numpad lol) but still, i stick to my opinion, to me, this car doesn't impress me at all. the extra power they added does not help this car unless ur going 100+.....

1st it only has a 60 of less the 5 when the thick tires are on.

2. a z06 will kill this car, its 3.3 0-60 with traction problems.

3. dont compare cars that are on different levels.

4. for the same price u can get a heavier camaro or the 5.0 stang abd blow the doors off, while having people in the back seat. i know enough about z's trust me. they sacrificed all the tq band in this engine that the 3.5 h.r. had. the peak tq is the same they just added a little top end to it.

i already saw one of these z's get worked on the highway by a 99gt.. and it looks slower then my stock z was lmao. what i really think is weak is how people always use the "i bet its faster then ur car" lmao....wow...do i need a fast car to know when something is slow? but w/e i stick to it...in this vid the car is slow.... its not hard for a v6 to be fast. the vq is the best one of the best engines

And yes the muffler delete DOES in fact sound almost perfect for the $0 price tag. The muffler itself is even secured by 3 hangars so you can slip the pipes down, and rebolt them so some air can escape. This can be heard in my 0-60 video...but i'd love to hear from anybody whos bought electric cutouts...looking to make a purchase real soon

its stick for sure. first, the gear ratios in the 7speed auto are set up so 2nd gear is very short. in the auto, 60 is hit in 3rd gear..secondly, the auto shifts much faster than that. third, auto doesnt have a shift light. there are a couple of other reasons too
