One thing that happens is how fans from both sides bring the worst out of one another. I think that's sad, and I do what I can to not be a part of that. I am no less passionate or fervent in my support, and see myself as a college football fan first and foremost, and a Michigan fan second. Our great game holds so many traditions, and I respect that.

That's cheating because now osu is playing with players that certainly some would not have been there except for the crooked offers. The AD and/or President just laughed it off. It is pretty hard to cover up and keep hidden from university officials when you are in as deep as osu has been and apparently, are still doing. Did the players go along? Of course! Did more than Tressel know? Tressel wasn't the one supplying the cars or jobs and the AD had told Pryor to not drive flashy cars so that is lack of oversight.

"It's a rivalry" is not an excuse for acting like thugs. There are plenty of college rivalries (Auburn/Georgia, BC/Notre Dame, ND/USC, Texas/Oklahoma, etc) where the teams and fans treat each other with respect. Poking fun is one thing, trying to destroy a time-honored tradition like the banner raising is something else. It's sad that our rivalry can't have more class.

There was no permanent damage done that cost millions of dollars to repair. The only reason why you lead the rivalry is because you won from 1897- 1912. One thing that happens is how fans from both sides bring the worst out of one another. I think that's sad, and I do what I can to not be a part of that. I am no less passionate or fervent in my support, and see myself as a college football fan first and foremost, and a Michigan fan second. Our great game holds so many traditions, and I respect that.

He commented on the pen that I was using because it had a Block M on it. He was very nice, and we regaled one another with mutual love and pride for our schools. That is fanfare in its purest form. You are a great fan of a great tradition, and I have truly enjoyed sharing with you. See, UM & OSU fans can co-exist peacefully. :)

That is why the claim only Tressel knew holds no water. Besides, a Columbus news crew reported the AD had told Pryor to quit driving flashy cars because he didn't want the NCAA poking their noses in. I guess at that point the AD didn't realize the NCAA has become as corrupt as osu, overlooking some schools (osu) & punishing others (Boise St).

It is pretty hard to cover up and keep hidden from university officials when you are in as deep as osu has been and apparently, are still doing. Did the players go along? Of course! Did more than Tressel know? Tressel wasn't the one supplying the cars or jobs and the AD had told Pryor to not drive flashy cars so that is lack of oversight.

There are plenty of college rivalries (Auburn/Georgia, BC/Notre Dame, ND/USC, Texas/Oklahoma, etc) where the teams and fans treat each other with respect.
