If were to actually look, you would know that the Moon has already hit the Earth about 8 times at least. All you have to do is reverse images of Earth and overlay them onto the Moon, Plus there is a clear pattern of impacts all over the Moon and Earth. The Ones on the Earth are about the size of the moon, There is so much evidence if you just look. I have a couple of videos showing some of these overlays I have done.

@thegta4freak1 It was actually venus that collided with Earth long ago, the collision was so catastrophic it blew a chunk off earth that *supposedly* became the moon ( I believe in another theory). But Venuse did collide with earth long ago essentially bouncing off one another sending our planet into the chandler wobble as we call it and sent Venus into a retrograde rotation, almost spinning backwards. Thea is thought to have been ejected from our solar system when Jupiter was going crazy

Amazing...the moon would hit the Earth and no fragmentation of either celestial body. It is also interesting to see the clouds being kept intact after the thermal inhalation of everything on our planet..talk about some acid rain....how about the consumption of all of the oxygen during this fireball..still looks like a pretty thick atmosphere after the fact..also if an impact would occur it would not be at a right angle but skip off given the orbital plane and with impact speed of 1.023 km/s

The Earth used to be much smaller but was hit by another smaller planet which increased the size of the Earth and a fraction of the debris became what we now know as the moon. Therefore it has already happened which proves this video to be completely unnecessary, sorry about that :P

Same thing can't be said about moons, hence the need for the "the" article.

Because of the offset weight, the rotation around earth is actually slowly decreasing, and most scientists predict that eventually, the speed of the moon will slow down enough to go out of orbit, and collide with earth.
