@superWCE Ours at the end sucked. We won six games in a row in the second half of the season, and had beaten the Bulldogs twice and also smashed Hawthorn. At the end of the season we went down to Geelong by like 31 at Skilled, followed by a smashing by the Power making us fall from 4th to 7th in round 22. Then we had to go over to Sydney to take on Sydney, were we were defeated by 35.

Where I come from (Britain) we call soccer football.

I mean most of the time players use their hands and in soccer the only time they use their hands is in throw-ins plus the ball is out of bouns in throw-ins.

You don't compare a national comp of a population of 20 mil to dozens of countries fans going to see a sport that people watch all over the world. Yeah there was not enough room to put that goal in this video. I guess it got goal of the year because of his 3 or 4 efforts to get the ball before kicking it on a tight angle.

For spectacle alone I think McPhee, Rioli or Motlop's should have been goal of the year.
