  • @orion3448 it is, this is a sterio remaster.

  • If i had to choose a stereo mix, it'd have to be this one. On Mark's 2002 mix, for some reason he did not have the bass notes that were in the B chord before the Eminor at 1:11. He obviously fixed that with this mix.

  • i like all the doctor who themes except 6th doctor and 8th but my favourite is still the 11th doctor theme!

  • Is the only difference that this one's stereo and the origignal was mono?

  • @Drwhofanindatardis Pretty much. Mark Ayres digitally remixed the theme for 5.1 and stereo in 2002 & 2006. (Luckily for all of us, Delia kept her tapes after she left the BBC) The only differences are in the tape delay effects. This one has more exaggerated tape delay effects compared to the 2002 mix. The original was in mono because the workshop only had mono tape machines they could sync up.

  • it sounds like 1963 theme

  • @orion3448 the difference is the bassline

  • @therealKINDLE One day Kindle! One day I will get it!!! :P

  • Where? I listened to 1963 then this one, and it seems that only difference is stereo instead of mono.

  • I don't see any differences between that and 1963 theme.

  • best tv theme song ever.i love DR WHO.

  • fantastic! 5 stars
