  • Next on How it's made: Black Disks of Death.

  • thats awesome

  • 0:38 looks like cocaine

  • @BeyondDestiny

Please don't talk about things that you clearly know nothing about.

  • oh boy im gonna save so much money making my own pucks

  • dont these factories go out of businesS? I mean, how often to hockey pucks break for them to buy new ones?

  • @BeyondDestiny well if you've ever played hockey

you'll find yourself losing 10 pucks every month

because you either shoot it somewhere or just plain lose it

  • @poopflavoredpie well, scoring a goal in hockey isn't that hard.. i'd say scoring a goal in soccer is harder than anything else. and how intimidating is a "hockey puck wall stand" in every hockey player's house?

  • @jsheets15 your mom seems to enjoy it.

  • I think for the NHL, whenever someone scores a goal, he is given that puck to add to his collection. That's why they need to keep making them. I don't think I've ever heard of a puck breaking.

  • @sonicfanatik I already broke a puck so yeah pucks do break

  • @joepower1234567890 Then you overfrose it

  • @BeyondDestiny well you can lose them

  • Great vid, thanks a million for this.

  • footballs! basketballs! hockeeeey pucks!

  • I want to work at that factory :D

  • When you say 'brought to you by' and you didn't make the video, you're stealing, idiots.

  • Brought to you by who? You didn't make this video, 'qnhl'.

  • No offense to anyone, But I would hate to do that job on 4:29 to 4:44

  • I wonder if those bandages on that operator's fingers are from a mistake or are preventative.

  • It's to protect against the abrasion of the puck when it spins. Without some kind of cloth protecting your skin would get worn right off part way through your shift.

  • Thanks! looking at it again I can see why they wear them.

  • sorry, that was a reply to a comment.. someone who hated hockey for no reason.

  • lawl. how its made is awsomee. id get how something so boring is so addictive! its the best show evaa.

  • I now have a sudden urge to touch everyone of those pucks! This is some kind of brainwashing!!

  • I think he did! sweet vid though

  • weeee

  • omg i have to get a puck now i just want to hold it.

  • This is just beautiful to watch.

  • omg I would be so worried about getting sucked into those massive rollers D: and my fingers in the one that cuts off the slag D: D:

  • think about falling into a furnace full of molten iron.

  • If i could say "Im making pucks!" when my job was asked I would be proud

  • 2;16 was awesome

  • Yes it does

  • I must study my enemy. I must stop those guys.

  • how do they get a flat carpet of puck into the slab that they were testing?

  • That guy probably wears the band-aids on his fingers so that his skin doesnt get ripped off because of the spinning puck. He probably learned that the hard way. Hence the band-aids

  • Did you see that guys fingers, lol man what a job i hope they pay him good.

  • Reminds me of science class.

  • lol, you know youve made it when your a puck maker

  • someone has to do it tizzy......

  • it's like 1. you could get it at the dollar store like everything is for 1 $

  • isnt that like copyright, qnhl cant say it's theyre's!

  • the people that make thes pucks must not be to healthing in the plant

  • lol i think that guy with band-aids on every finger needs to chance job:D

  • how is them machines made?? lol

  • Magic mostly

  • that brick or rubber looks like caramel

  • It dose dosen't it?

  • did you see the guy with band-aids on each one of his fingers trimming the pucks?? do you think he cut all his fingers on that crazy blade or do you think it's just precautionary?? i would definitely wear some serious gloves if my fingers were going that close to a crazy blade 40 hours a week for the rest of my life. unless he wants his fingers to be sawed off so he can retire early with some kind of extra compensation...

  • that was preety cool u can watch it on dicovery channel and science channel but its better 2 watch it on discovery because its on more often science channel is only on once on friday
