  • "It means our music is destroying capitalism"

    ...

Do I even need to address that line?

  • Boots has been proved right in every point he made 10 years ago

  • @urasmore How?

  • Is it just my imagination or did Eric Braeden just say that the separation of church and state is there to stop the PEOPLE imposing their religion on THE GOVENMENT? (02:56).

  • @JediRebelKid GO AWAY, TROLL.

  • Humans are greedy. Thats exactly why Marx thought that capitalism will never work. Our current situation is case in point. Fuck what the communist think, its the right who have to explain how, despite evidence to the contrary, the system works, for everybody.

  • @JediRebelKid Communism is where your forced to work against your will and share what you've earned yourself amongst people that have done and earned nothing. Capitalism is where you earn your own.

  • @JediRebelKid You're clearly a fucking moron who has no idea how the real world works. I am the only person on this page who actually understands how capitalism and communism works, which is why I'm advocating for capitalism. Advocating against capitalism shows that you have NO IDEA how capitalism works. A person who doesn't understand capitalism rails against it. That is you. You don't understand. You are stupid. Go away, troll.

  • @JediRebelKid You're a troll because you'd rather lie and claim that I thumbed down your comments and acting as if one account would cause your comments to disappear, because you don't want to admit that most people who read your bullshit think that you're one of the stupidest fucks on the planet, except for the other stupid fucks who think you're saying something when you're really just spewing polemic crap and bad strawman arguments. Keep trollin', trollin', trollin', trollin' down the river.

  • No shit, you can't boycott capitalism. Capitalism is the only system in which you can have a free society. Communism and socialism don't work because people like to OWN THINGS. Never trust any system in which the words "mine" and "I" are forbidden.

  • @JediRebelKid SOCIALISM HAS NEVER WORKED.

  • @JediRebelKid Don't spam my videos, you fucking moron.

  • @JediRebelKid No, that just makes you a fucking moron to slam someone else's taste in music because you disagree with their politics, WHICH HAS ABSOLUTELY GODDAMN NOTHING TO DO WITH THE POINTS I BROUGHT UP, genius. What you're really mad at is that a guy who enjoys clown rappers is smarter and more logical than you. Wait till you find out that Chuck D (of Public Enemy) also enjoys said clown rappers. Also, you've got a South Park avatar, dumbfuck. You have no right to slam ICP fans.

  • @JediRebelKid Well, first of all, you're wrong, ICP does have talent. If they didn't have talent, they wouldn't have had a successful career without corporate sponsorship. Secondly, it still has nothing to do with any of the points I've made, at all. Third, you do know that South Park is created by Libertarians, right? You literally have no point to make. If it wasn't blatantly obvious that you went on my videos and insulted me for knowing more than you do, you're a troll. Buzz off.

  • @JediRebelKid I said success with NO CORPORATE SPONSORSHIP, for starters. Secondly, I wouldn't discuss it if you didn't bring it up as if it were meaningful because YOU want to divert the conversation. Third, Boots Riley claims to be a COMMUNIST but is signed with Time/Warner. THAT IS THE VERY DEFINITION OF HYPOCRISY unless you have no idea what "communism" means.

  • @JediRebelKid Dude, you're not paying attention. Boots Riley was signed with Warner Bros., producing money for a corporation. Then he started a record label, and is now a CEO...who writes songs like "How To Kill a CEO".

  • @JediRebelKid You have no point to make. You're an idiot. Using more words does not make you appear smarter, especially if what you have to say can be deconstructed easily without using long paragraphs of text. Boots Riley claims to be a Communist. REAL COMMUNISTS refuse deals with corporations. Boots is not a Communist. Communism doesn't work because people like to own things. A society in which the words "mine" and "I" are forbidden is not a society.

  • @JediRebelKid Well, considering that you think that people don't like to own their own things (as opposed to the Marxist doctrine that wealth, etc. belongs to everyone, whether they've earned it or not), and that we shouldn't earn our own success and rewards but randomly doll it out to make things 'even', you have ZERO room to talk.

  • @JediRebelKid Earlier, you railed against ICP for earning their own success by building a fanbase and a successful business on their own without corporate support. Most people consider this a good thing. I see the translation as this: "It's not fair for these guys to have talent, so I'm going to say that they don't, because I don't have talent". Doesn't work that way, buddy. Your jealousy arises from being unable to earn your own success, which is why you want to rob others of their success.

  • @JediRebelKid ICP achieved their success in the early '90s on an independent label that they founded themselves. Also, I didn't bring them up. You started this shit by trying to troll my videos and then bringing the conversation here. Stop talking to me, please. You're ignorant, and really bad at trolling.

  • @JediRebelKid Except, you claimed that it is not true that people like to own things, which points to your ideology, as if anyone needed a clearer fucking sign. Go suck Boots Riley's dick and leave me alone.

  • The guy from "The Coup" says the protesters need to wear masks to protect themselves from the cops. Guess what? If they're willing to protest, and willing to wreak havoc, then they're willing to face whatever consequences the cops dole out. NO MASKS!!

And my dad is an immigrant himself; he'd say the same as Mr. Braeden... if you're taking a photo for ID, you let your face be shown; in case of something happening to you(God forbid), someone would know who you are and how to help you.

  • I loved The Coup.... However... Boots is being retarded on this joint.

  • @MrNapt They gave him a chance. He had nothing to say. He claimed to be a communist despite being signed with Time/Warner. He's a moron who has no idea what he's talking about.

  • @MrNapt They're one of the biggest corporations in the world, and a person whose ideology rejects capitalism would not produce music to make money for corporations. Also, a "communist" is a member of the Communist Party. The word Riley is looking for is "Marxist". And he's not a Marxist, either, because he's feeding the corporate machine.

  • @JediRebelKid They didn't require corporations to be successful. They were successful independently in 1994 before anyone heard of them. You're an idiot. Go fuck your mother. Leave me alone.

  • Another suggestion: move to a country without capitalism if you don't like it. Just don't beg for freedom later on.

  • There's so much astounding lack of logic on this page and it's a result of people who believe in socialism or communism as a good system in spite of a wealth of evidence that it's not. If you guys actually did your research, you wouldn't be revealed as the fools that you are.

  • @HavenComicsShin Health care is a rip-off. Medicine and treatment from doctors should be one of those necessities that we pay to because we have to. You're not supposed to leech off the tax payers so you can become further addicted to pills that you didn't need in the first place. If you actually need medical care at any point in your life, YOU should pay for YOUR medical care, not the tax payers. You really have NO CLUE where that "medical coverage" comes from.

  • A society with no money is no society. It's primitive. Money is a sign of civilization. Having some form of currency is a sign that we've moved out of the caves, moved out of the dark ages and we're not knocking women out with a club to reproduce.

  • @laziboy009 It's "your", not "you're". And you are an idiot.

  • @IsaacBaranoff Grammatical errors don't make someone an idiot. Why don't you try challenging the substance of what I say like a big kid?

  • @laziboy009 What you say has no substance. Your opposition to capitalism vis a vie a hypocritical rapper claiming to be a communist who puts out records via Time/Warner is either the product of clear ignorance, or you are trolling. Your statements are empty and profoundly absurd to anyone that can think.

  • China, previously referred to as a dictatorship, is under Communism. So was Russia before the end of the cold war.

  • Communism has NEVER WORKED because of the fact that people like to own things and have their own. If you got rid of money, we would be trading food that we've grown, and people would want to own food. There is no escaping capitalism. It's freedom.

  • I've justified the reaction to Boots: he doesn't know what he's fucking talking about. He calls himself a communist despite being a business owner. If you're a business owner, you're clearly a capitalist. Capitalists are those that try to produce capital. You might be a LIBERAL and are free to do whatever you want with YOUR money, but don't force OTHER PEOPLE to pay for what YOU think is a good idea because it flies by your head.

  • YOU are not generating more than you are being paid for. The generation of wealth is individual. If you are not earning $2k a week, you are not producing $2k a week and don't deserve to be paid $2k a week. You need to be paid what you actually earned, not "fairly". It's not exploitation at all. You get paid what you earned. Accept it. If you do not like what you are earning, get a better-paying job.

  • If you were so concerned with protecting the cash that workers earn, you would not promote a system where we're not only taxed, but we're taxed highly. Freedom is minimal taxes. Freedom is where you're not paying through the teeth for things that you will not use, things that you do not want or need to pay for, etc.

  • If one person alone cannot afford to take care of themselves, they should not be living alone. Live with multiple people who can each work to individually pay the cost of living. It cuts down the costs significantly and stretches your money.

  • Solution for the "mother" thing: don't have kids. There are enough human beings in this world, let alone the United States or the UK, where you are not required to reproduce your genes. If you can't afford to take care of your kids, don't have them. If you are not able mentally or financially to care for children, don't have children.

  • Look at how physically aggressive they got towards Boots when he spoke his views. Eric Braeden leans forward in a threatening manner. They overstepped Erin Shannon speaking about the concept of Individualism ... which would have led to an interesting debate. Instead they turned into some McCarthyist form of brow beating. Why not allow Boots to speak his mind and express his views if they are so comfortable? (Just like all of the comments on this page being marked as negative or flagged.)

  • I remember watching this when it aired... I have a serious problem with this because... the Amish do NOT have to have a photograph on their driver's licenses because of religious reasons ... why the double standard?

If a Muslim cannot have a driver's license without a facial photo ID - then so do the Amish and everyone else. This creates a state sanctioning one religion over another.

  • Under capitalism, you have the ability to quit if you feel that you're not being paid the amount that you deserve. Under socialism and communism, you don't have that choice. Under socialism and communism, you are forced to share the wealth with people who don't deserve it. Capitalism is the only way to be free. You cannot argue with this.

  • @cycling4ever Your whole thought process is based on no education. I am a publisher, a businessman, a capitalist, a productive member of society, an individual. You are a robot mouthpiece for a systematic thought process that failed.

  • @cycling4ever Wow: "Isreal", huh? You must be really desperate for an argument if you're resorting to anti-Semitism to get your point across, which doesn't work, considering that I am an atheist, not a Jew. If you don't have the slightest clue about how capitalism works, don't try to convert me to Socialism. Socialism failed. Get real. The only way for anyone to operate in this world is through Capitalism. That is the only way things get done. Socialism and Communism impede social progress.

  • £5.50 an hour comes to $8.92 in the United States, where minimum wage is $7.25. If you work 10 hours a day, 7 days a week, you're making $624 a week, and close to $2000 a month. If you don't like the job, you're clearly making enough to invest in something that will make you even more money, allow you to quit your job, and do even less than you are now. Capitalism is the only way that would be allowed. Communism and socialism wouldn't allow that. Capitalism = freedom.

  • @Propagandhi900 That's not how capitalism works. Capitalism is, you earn what you deserve. You clearly have no idea what you're talking about. Get your information from something other than Leftist propaganda.

  • @Propagandhi900 You have the intellectual capacity of a snail. If you don't want to understand how the world works, feel free to stop talking to me. It is your choice. In a free society, we have choices. You are able to choose to be lazy and not have a job because of capitalism. In a socialist society, not only would you not have a personal computer, you would be forced to work, and not have time to troll on a PC. Thank capitalism for your ability to be stupid.

  • @Propagandhi900 You're not being "exploited" in any way, you moron. You're choosing to work in order to provide for your family. WELCOME TO THE REAL WORLD, ASSHOLE.

  • @Propagandhi900 You're an idiot. Capitalism is where you're paid for equivalent to the amount of work done. It's not exploitation.

  • @Propagandhi900 It is interesting that arguments like this are being marked as spam! It is interesting that the person doing that supposedly believes in Capitalism because it increases FREEDOM while at the same time they attempt to censor another.

  • @IsaacBaranoff Communism abolishes wages, so it's not that it wouldn't allow for reinvestment in a more fruitful pursuit, there's just noting to invest. In a Communist structure, you're free to expend your energies in whatever manner you please - the only standards regarding jobs are that you do something to benefit society and you spend about as much time and energy as the rest of society (this is called a balanced job complex).

  • @nocturnezero "Communism abolishes wages" - Communism is slavery.

  • @IsaacBaranoff Ignoratio elenchi.

  • @nocturnezero Under socialism, you would not be able to afford your own food, clothing, etc. Capitalism is the exchange of goods and services among people without coercion or restriction by either party, or by any third party. No restriction equals freedom. Capitalism is the only way society can progress, the only way to have the necessities of life. Without capitalism, there is nothing. $2000 a month is well enough to provide for the necessities.

  • @dickforce1 You just admitted yourself that we don't live under capitalism. Capitalism is the exchange of goods and services among people without coercion or restriction by either party, or by any third party. That does not equal a reduction in the quality of human life. There's free will under capitalism, because you are allowed a choice instead of being told how to run businesses and spend your money.

  • @IsaacBaranoff You're ignoring entirely the implicit economic coercion that capitalism creates. As well as its internal contradictions that lead to crises and inequality of wealth. If the choice is between starvation/impoverishment or taking that degrading job that pays you less than the labor you put into it, you are coerced into taking the latter. Humans live in a social system of dialectical relations, not autonomous agents living like orangutangs as your ideology assumes.

  • @aerdil You're paid what your labor is worth. Your labor alone is only worth something when a job is created. Are you intentionally being ignorant, or do you really not understand how things work?

  • @aerdil I am a person who understands what the world works. You understand nothing. Re-read what I said: without jobs, your labor is worth nothing. Your labor is worth something when you have a job. Your job pays you what is fair to both you and the person who hires you. If you dislike your level of pay, find another job. If you have no reason to continue working for someone who doesn't pay you what you feel is enough, stop working for them.

  • @aerdil Objectivism is not a "discredited ideology". Objectivism is objective thinking, and one who criticizes objective thinking is not worth listening to anyway. It's clear to me that you are against free will. Thus, any further discussion would be pointless, as you obviously have nothing of value to contribute to a discussion where I support free will, and you support totalitarianism.

  • @aerdil What you have to say comes across as patronizingly ignorant to anyone that actually knows what they're talking about. Shoo.

  • Boots is not as smart as he thinks he is. Not that the rest of the group is any better, but he seems to think he's there to enlighten everyone. And he's doing a bad job of it.

  • 4 Jingoes and Boot Riley...how depressing.

  • @gaarasd What's a jingo?

  • Just a quick observation as a British citizen - when I entered the USA on holiday, they took my fingerprints as a method of identifying me. Why can't they just use that for identification of people who wear veils? It was all done electronically, all that kind of stuff. Why not just insert that into driver's licenses biometrically? Oh right, it costs money. Nevermind, bugger freedom of expression and religion, it'd cost money.

  • "The people should have control over the profit th
