YOU are not generating more than you are being paid for. The generation of wealth is individual. If you are not earning $2k a week, you are not producing $2k a week and don't deserve to be paid $2k a week. You need to be paid what you actually earned, not "fairly". It's not exploitation at all. You get paid what you earned. Accept it. If you do not like what you are earning, get a better-paying job.
If you were so concerned with protecting the cash that workers earn, you would not promote a system where we're not only taxed, but we're taxed highly. Freedom is minimal taxes. Freedom is where you're not paying through the teeth for things that you will not use, things that you do not want or need to pay for, etc.
If one person alone cannot afford to take care of themselves, they should not be living alone. Live with multiple people who can each work to individually pay the cost of living. It cuts down the costs significantly and stretches your money.
Solution for the "mother" thing: don't have kids. There are enough human beings in this world, let alone the United States or the UK, where you are not required to reproduce your genes. If you can't afford to take care of your kids, don't have them. If you are not able mentally or financially to care for children, don't have children.
Look at how physically aggressive they got towards Boots when he spoke his views. Eric Braeden leans forward in a threatening manner. They overstepped Erin Shannon speaking about the concept of Individualism ... which would have led to an interesting debate. Instead they turned into some McCarthyist form of brow beating. Capitalism is the only way that would be allowed. Communism and socialism wouldn't allow that. Capitalism = freedom.

@IsaacBaranoff Communism abolishes wages, so it's not that it wouldn't allow for reinvestment in a more fruitful pursuit, there's just noting to invest. In a Communist structure, you're free to expend your energies in whatever manner you please - the only standards regarding jobs are that you do something to benefit society and you spend about as much time and energy as the rest of society (this is called a balanced job complex).

@IsaacBaranoff I think your estimation leaves out the necessary expenditures of life - food, clothing, (to some degree) electricity, heat, and other things that cannot be done without. Factor those necessities in and what's left on the top is probably a small pittance, hardly enough to hold you over as you pursue a more fruitful endeavor. In any case, most jobs for an unskilled worker under Capitalism necessarily subject them to a boss or manager, which a worker may not desire.

If we assume my understanding of Socialism, where modes of exchange like money are maintained and wages are paid for time spent working, onerousness, and sacrifice of the worker, it's unlikely that anybody would be unable to generate the necessary wealth to live except the people who work. This is going by the logic that everybody would earn vastly more than they do under Capitalism...

Her own clothes and food cost 300 dollars a month. She's taxed at 35 percent, which is 700 dollars. She sleeps 8 hours a day. Her kids sleep 10.
So she has only 2 hours for each child.
At the end of the month she's owes 700 dollars to the bank and she still can't find enough time to foster her children.

Just a quick observation as a British citizen - when I entered the USA on holiday, they took my fingerprints as a method of identifying me. £5.50 an hour comes to $8.92 in the United States, where minimum wage is $7.25. If you work 10 hours a day, 7 days a week, you're making $624 a week, and close to $2000 a month. If you don't like the job, you're clearly making enough to invest in something that will make you even more money, allow you to quit your job, and do even less than you are now. Capitalism is the only way that would be allowed. Communism and socialism wouldn't allow that. Capitalism = freedom.

In a Communist structure, you're free to expend your energies in whatever manner you please - the only standards regarding jobs are that you do something to benefit society and you spend about as much time and energy as the rest of society (this is called a balanced job complex).

@IsaacBaranoff I think your estimation leaves out the necessary expenditures of life - food, clothing, (to some degree) electricity, heat, and other things that cannot be done without. Factor those necessities in and what's left on the top is probably a small pittance, hardly enough to hold you over as you pursue a more fruitful endeavor. In any case, most jobs for an unskilled worker under Capitalism necessarily subject them to a boss or manager, which a worker may not desire.

If we assume my understanding of Socialism, where modes of exchange like money are maintained and wages are paid for time spent working, onerousness, and sacrifice of the worker, it's unlikely that anybody would be unable to generate the necessary wealth to live except the people who work. This is going by the logic that everybody would earn vastly more than they do under Capitalism...

The people who earn significantly more for less onerous or less socially valuable work (say, politicians) would earn significantly less, leaving more for the rest of us.

Her own clothes and food cost 300 dollars a month. She's taxed at 35 percent, which is 700 dollars. She sleeps 8 hours a day. Her kids sleep 10.
So she has only 2 hours for each child.
At the end of the month she's owes 700 dollars to the bank and she still can't find enough time to foster her children.

Boots is not as smart as he thinks he is. Not that the rest of the group is any better, but he seems to think he's there to enlighten everyone. And he's doing a bad job of it.

Just a quick observation as a British citizen - when I entered the USA on holiday, they took my fingerprints as a method of identifying me. Why can't they just use that for identification of people who wear veils? It was all done electronically, all that kind of stuff. Why not just insert that into driver's licenses biometrically? Oh right, it costs money. Nevermind, bugger freedom of expression and religion, it'd cost money.
