  • ohh this song is amazing !!!!!!

  • I always wonder: how long a man can scream like this without destroying his vocal organs...

It sounds cool but for example I don't like "Negative Creep" it's so painfull, it feels to me like Kurt was high and suffered huge sorrow and he just wanted to radiate it out...

This music used to make me very nostalgic and sad whan I was a child, now I have more healthy approach ;)

  • That song isss toooo short. When i heard it finish i was likeee nooooo why u finishing.

  • @latinjoka14 relplay bro

  • 4 lines made an awesome song. Kudos to you Kurt Cobain!

    Won't you believe it

    its just my luck

    No recess

    you're in high school again

  • You're in high school again

    You're in high school again

    You're in high school again

    You're in high school again

    You're in high school again

    You're in high school again

  • The dirty, sludgy, and sometimes atonal sound here is the Nirvana sound I like the most.

  • EARGASM :)

  • uploaded on my birthday fuck yeah!!!

  • Best $600 ever used to make music

  • I was a primary school teacher and I left my job because it didn't please me. So the line "wouldn't you believe it. It's just my luck" was perfectly appropriated to me!

  • eiste anomaloi! pali sto gymnasio e? eseis pou menete sinexeia kanete like?

  • it is a differnt sounding pop music. wejust consider them grunge because of there mentalities.

  • this sounds like drivin' music

  • This song...just fucking awesome. You can't classify it as a genre..it just rocks and kicks ass...

    You're in highschool aGAiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnn.......ahhhhhhhhhh!

  • Im shure thous 2 single dislikes are teachers

  • I think it is a different sounding pop music..

  • No recess!

  • It has the dirty nonchalant sound that makes me love nirvana and others like it....it is the best album

  • oh gosh 1989 i was around 10 years old and i remember my shelf listening this album without knowing what was the cassette was about... 2011 and relistening it again...

  • @velvetmorning82

So you were a Nirvana fan since 10 years old?

    Pre-Nevermind?

Gotta hand it to you man.

    You're a true Nirvana fan!

  • @TheWanderingSkeleton haha yeah i know it sounds kinda off but you see back when when MTV was a real Music Channel everyone in US and in EU i guess we were educate ours shelf with watching all day long MTV and the people who were not into pop scene or whatsover like me we were listening to this kind

  • @velvetmorning82

Could the same be applied to how I (sometimes) watch ScuzzTV and Kerrang! for long periods of time? (which are not a day) I have seen some alot of good Rock artists, outside of TV as well.

Also, some Pop music is actually quite good. The thing is that it depends on the way its implemented.

But yes, I just love good music. Regardless of it being underrated or not.

  • This whole album sounds WAY heavier than Nevermind and in utero

  • I really hated Nirvana after this album.

This was Kurt's least favorite album, but he's dead now so whatever.

Fuck Nevermind, Bleach was way better.

  • schoooooooooooooooooooooooooooool

  • Right on Pastro!

  • Nirvana, Alice in chains and Red Hot Chili Peppers. Best bands of the 90's.

  • @pastorofmuphets i like neither.. best band of the 90's is Pearl Jam.. and best album was 'Ten'...

  • @roquero03 Pearl Jam are great, but they're too poppy for me.

  • @pastorofmuphets i guess, i jus have more respect for them cuz they're still around making good music and didnt over dose or shoot thier brains out like most grunge bands... and the peppers are jus sooo anyoing to me cuz everytime i turn on the radio they play one of their songs and just about in every station, so i think they're more popish..

btw.. awesome name.. mastor of puppets is one of my fav metallica album (bak wen they rulled the world) .. =)

  • @roquero03 ahah funny, and what about My Bloody Valentine's Loveless and Red Hot Chili Peppers' Blood Sugar Sex Magik?

  • @95TheDeftOne eh.... i'm jus not into it.. only chilliper song i like is "other side''.. and 'under the bridge' but radio plays the s*** out of it..

  • @roquero03 I love to hear fantastic music in radio.

  • @GoodGuitarSolos eh, radio sux.. lol

  • @roquero03 I don't like radio either but I love many bands getting airplay in radios.

  • this must have been one kick ass album in '89.....Jesus

  • Bleach has never been my favorite Nirvana album...

But the guitar in this is sick. And the words are my biography..as of now, at least.

    High school....Ugh.

  • wish kurt put more effort into the lyrics. would've been seriously more epic.

  • the first album of every good band is almost always the best

  • We had to choose a song and describe what the lyrics meant line by line in music appreciation class, and i chose this one. easiest project ever.

  • early 90s

    nirvana

    mettalica

    birth of RATM

    AIC

    and a few others

  • drinking cow sperm again

  • It's so amazing I could cry.

  • fuckin legendary Ioved growing up with this music, i got to see the birth of seattle grunge, those were the days. AIC Soundgarden Pearl jam just to name a few...metallicas black album dropped around that time as well

  • @chessinfantry lucky bastard!!!

  • bravo

  • thanx for uploading

  • Best audio on You Tube!

  • the solos on this album are much better than the others wow

  • This album is awesome should be loads more famous than it is

  • My favorite song on Bleach

  • So if Bleach would of sold more it would be less good? WTF?

  • @KissMyShoePlz Haha actually YES

  • Bleach is an awesome album, it should have sold more.

  • @02087158033 Actually it shouldn't, the less mainstream Kurt's music is the better, We all know what happened after Nevermind.

  • Explode na cabeça,doidera totallllll!!! foda-se

  • you`re in high school again can you see in kurt cobains journals he wrote FUCK IM IN HIGHSCHOOL AGAIN he was an amazing songwriter and its like that when you listen to his songs it first looks like that they have no sense but they have all a deeper sense

  • @berbrl You are clearly a man in tune with Cobain's writing muse then.

  • @berbrl

    wut.

  • @berbrl For me this is a song about him being a really smart guy ("no recess") but totally incompatible with the education system, which is meant to make robots, not creative people. But that's just me. I felt the same when I was in highschool. God, thank you I'm no more in highschool...

  • Comment removed

  • @unfa00 i really liked what you wrote. for me the song it's about when you get out of high school, you think everything it's going to be different you know, people will stop being such assholes as some kids are, but then you realize nothing changes, except that you have "no recess" anymore.

  • @Flor1395 i took it kinda like life is almost always gonna suck and you never get any breaks

  • @l3054 yes! that's an pesimist view but yes haha. but everybody's got a different point of view :)

  • @Flor1395 also theres generally alot of immature people in the workplace these days and it can feel like high school

  • @l3054 I guess so! I don't know how workplaces are beucase I'm only in my last year of high school :p

  • @berbrl good work it is incredibly hard to explain in just a paragraph

  • Rockin song...and although covers are usually never as good as the original, you should check out PAW's version of this song on their rare "Keep The Last Bullet For Yourself" CD - a raritiesand B-Sides compilation. Mark Hennessey's vocals are much more powerful and Grant Fitch's guitar is rich and rocks. And they stay very true to the original recording. The PAW version is what made this song one of my favorites.

  • Does all the "Bleach" Albums have Them playing live like the songs go first then the live thing

  • awesome!!nirvana 4 ever

  • damn he played better solos on this album then the others

  • @syrensounds different drummer man

  • @AwesomeSauceLimited ....so. he could've had a hendrix/mitchell thing goin on. but i now think its cuz he wanted to write better songs...

  • Comment removed

  • @syrensounds well because there music was fresh. first album!

  • @syrensounds Its because he cared way more about the music when they first started then he did in the end!

  • @syrensounds Thats what they call selling out my good sir.

  • My brother and his band just played this song and they ROCKED! They also played Anureysm by Nirvana ^^

  • i always thought he sang "no reasons"...hm.

  • cockroaches

  • This one will be available next Tuesday on Rock Band.

  • this song is about Kurt when he became a janitor at the same high school he dropped out of. Just look at the lyrics cuz it makes sense...

  • nahs its not, if u have his journals he describes in a letter to someone near the start about how being in a band was becoming like high school and uses the line "fuck, im in high school again"

  • yeah xastor self opinion but anyways

  • man he was just lazy on this song but its still kool

  • Limites yo

  • Nirvana is the best band ever, only Grunge one I know that compares to anything so shut the fuck up

  • lol, pretty overrated band though.

Don't get me wrong, i really dig them, but to call nirvana the best band ever is really ignorant... That's also totally not what grunge is about: "being the best band ever"...

    MTV slowly killed real music

  • @xastor I agree, they're an overrated band for all the reasons that Nevermind brought.

  • dude, nirvana and metallica are both fucking awesome.

    so everybody shut up.

    (evaengineers sis)

  • metallica is below nirvana though. :P

  • @evaengineer Totally agreed! And they are my favourite bands. I don't think there is a way of comparing them, as they are totally different... but I like better Nirvana ^^

  • @evaengineer nirvana have more emotion than metallica.

  • @Rankmoistmeat Purely subjective: one may find more emotion in Metallica's music and vice versa.

  • @GoodGuitarSolos Have you heard how Kurt screams his heart out in songs like Territorial Pissings and Milk It.....That's real passion.

  • @Rankmoistmeat Definitely, fantastic songs too. Still, don't deny Metallica either. Nirvana and Metallica are two fantastic bands.

  • I agree at least Cobain wasnt a sellout, whereas metallica is the king of sellouts

  • are you fucking serious? cobain joined the corporate rockers right after bleach

  • Lotsd of Nirvana's songs qualify as heavy metal, metal is great!!!

  • but heavy metal influenced grunge..including nirvana...the only thing they didnt get from heavy metal were the virtuosity of the guitar playing( eg. complicated solos) and the aesthetics

  • Metallica are horrible. there's really no comparison i'm sorry, but thats my opinion.

  • terrible? WTF? There old school music ic perfect!

  • Well said

  • lol no reeses nirvava pwns metallica

  • has anyone seen metallica ripping on kurt its fucking disgraceful

  • yeah i like Metallica but that is going to far

  • what the hellare you talking about? there is video on youtube of kirk talking about how much he respected nirvana!

  • kurt loved kill'em all

  • no his favorite album was ride the lightning but his favorite song was whiplash look up kirk hammet talks about kurt cobain

  • i heard somethin that metallica said about Kurt when he was dead. Terrible people. I have lost all of my respect for them. They made jokes about him being dead, laughing at him. It was so sad.

They said. "what color are Kurt Cobains eyes? Blew. 1 went this way, 1 went that way." So disrespectful. It was called 'Metallica rips on Kurt Cobain'

  • name of the video?

  • "Metallica rips on Kurt Cobain"

  • i actualy liked metallica, heh so much for that.

  • 1.take two mcnuggets and throw them away!.

2.better yet, shove em' up your ass!

    3.give me a JUNIOR chee...

    4. I'm trying to watch my wieght

    5. These spam things are f-ing annoying!!!

  • I used to thinlk he said 'no reeses"(candy)! LOL!!

  • NO RECESS¡¡

  • amazing song!!!! in LOVE with it!!!!!!

  • I didnt know Kurt could solo like this.

  • i love this song so much one of my favs from bleach

  • the solo is mental i reckon its random, one shot only.

    it's hard to replicate

    does anyone think this?

  • i always thought he was screaming dont resist but it makes more sense this way hehe RIP Kurt

  • thats exactly wat i thought he said

  • greatest band ever

  • thename of this song is school lol

  • ima sophmore it fucking sucks its so boring and so much shit to do and theres still 2 more fucking yrs 2 go

  • Comment removed

  • Is that double bass i hear?

  • It might be but, when I play this on the drums I can do it with one pedal.

    I loved the Bleach album.

  • No, Chad and Dave never used dubble bass pedal.

  • um thats pretty dumb that you said that because you can clearly hear the double bass! but i dont think dave used double

  • it is but dave isnt the drummer hear its chad dave doesnt use a double

  • stupid, hardwear10 said "Chad and Dave never used dubble bass pedal".

  • yea chad used double bass lol clearly can see that he does in pics and early home concerts

  • These people all fail.

Double bass could apply to the instrument, the double bass. That's definitely not used here because it's an acoustic instrument. I'm assuming you refer to the double kick bass drums, which it does indeed sound like they are used. Oh, actually, hilltop530 and you both don't fail. The rest of this thread does, though.

  • Um yeah that is what a meant smartass

  • xD versiones

  • dude when they were with sub pop they kicked more ass then i could even think, and look at in bloom sub pop, IT OWNS geffens records

  • fuckin hate high school

  • I have an original CD of this on the SubPop label from before Nirvana signed to Geffen.

On the sleeve Kurt's name is spelt as Kurdt Kobain. Classic album.

  • best cd ive ever owned unfortunately it broke and i have to get songs off the internet

  • lol thats my interpretation of the song XD i know that it is wrong

  • What you are leaving is just my love (×4)

    No resist (×3)

You are ice cold again (×8)

  • Completely wrong

  • it does fit though!

  • huh?

  • ya it does lol

  • the guitar riffs on this album are epic

  • wow there a full 15! words in it

  • How many do you have?

  • uuuuuhhhhhmmmmmmmmm.ok

  • only nirvana could make a good song with a total of only 15 different words.

  • i totally agree

  • So fucking cool

  • won ubelebelebe

    haha

  • shut the fuck up.

  • yeah arent you cool

  • there are to many words in this song. jk
