He doesn't come across as arrogant. I get the impression he was very cynical and jaded for a guy that young coming up during the idealistic late 60's. It's also a little unusual to encounter someone who is as interested in the business end as they are in the creative end.

Dont get me wrong, I've always liked tha mans music, even saw him in concert in late '08. Never really seen him do an interview till now, tho. And I gotta say, wow, he's kind of an arrogant dickhead. js
