What version do you have of vegas? I can't get the 3d source alpha option on my version. Do you need pro to do the 3d text. Cool video by the way.

no u should be able to do it in any versions, i did this one with sony vegas 7.0(not pro) but now i have sony vegas 8 pro

OK...well I have sony vegas movie studio 8.0 (not pro 8.0) and I only get two options under compositing mode, which is multiply (mask) and source alpha. How do you get the 3d source alpha option?

ok, well i just purchased vegas pro 8.0 and it's pretty cool. the only thing is i find it hard to do 3d text further up in the timeline. it seems to work only at the beginning but i guess im still getting used to it.

looks great , i didn't know you could do the zooming to earth effect in SV . i definitely want to see a tut for it , unless only the text and editing was done in SV . JV
