Karen married my classmate & lives a few miles from me. I have known Karen for awhile, but didn't realize these roots of hers until recently. My brother has her music, but i never put Karen with Lawrence, I just knew her by her married name. It's a small world! Karen is a BEAUTIFUL women inside & out!!!!.

Thank you so much for posting this. I bought a demo copy of this album at Aaron's Records in LA in the 70's (I think) for $1.98. Played it hundreds of times. Still love it. I'm thrilled to see the video and would love to get the music on CD. Karen deserved more recognition and a bigger career.

Wow !!!! One of my all time favorite songs. I bought that album for 50 cents in the cutout bins at Woolworths back in 1984. That whole album was great. Loved the cover too. Best 50 cents I ever spent.

I was in the video too! ( by the way, I sent a photo of myself from a bar mitzvah when I was thirteen and looked about 40. I had to buy a dress for the video.) Went out with some of the "girls"afterwards. We still had our makeup on and went to some hotel bar which wasn't open yet and talked them into serving us. Must have been inspired!
