  • Actually, if it is not the larva of a fly like many are saying - I'd put my money on it being a Slug Caterpillar (beloning to the Limacodids, a type of moth)

  • that's a maggot, not a caterpillar!

  • aww its so cuuuute

    *wiggle wiggle*

  • Looks like it's crawling backwards! Chris/JCMDIdotCOM

  • it's making my skin crawl. nasty!!!!

  • u've got great moves!!

  • I think that's a lightning bug larva.

  • its a hoverfly larvae...

  • Moonwalk bitches! its dancing!

  • if that thing crawls on my hand i would burn my whole arm off.

  • He looks lost

  • very nice.... look at my videos a caterpillar been atacked by a wasp.

  • it looks like a leeche

  • lol it looks like it keepshitting its head on the leaf

  • it looks liek canabis leeaves

  • lol,it looks kinda funny...

  • ummmm very tastey

  • looks like a leach to me...or some blood sucking critter...not very caterpillar like tho...they usually arebt seen moving out in the open like that. or if tehy are tehyre headin some place as fast as tehir little legs can acrrry em

  • it moves like a maggot

  • ummmm very unique.......

  • That looks like a larva of a hoverfly to me.

  • lol. it moves like the worm xD

  • i think thats a slug dude >_>

  • I say we name him nightcrawler!

  • The Long Journey Of The Caterpillar.

  • This caterpillar's movements are sort of...ethereal. Don't know where THAT came from, but that's what I think. I love insects, esp. caterpillars! Esp. the Luna Moth and Puss Caterpillar. I thought the caterpillar was SOOOOO cute!

  • Thanks for your nice comment! I love caterpillars and the Luna Moth, too!

  • strainge lil dude XD

  • i don't get what's so "unique" about this

  • It was bustin out the worm on ya, j00 got served! j/k j/k It could be unique since henever seen a bug move like that.

  • LOL! aw man... i can't think of any dance moves to bust back at him. i guess i got served

  • the only way i am not grossed out by a caterpillar is if I see its eyes.

  • It looks like its galloping in slow motion aahahahahahahah!!!

  • aww its cuteXD it reminds me of the earth worm on James And The Giant Peach! XD!

  • it is totally doing the worm

  • Aww, it's so cute! ^_^ I love caterpillars!

  • Thank goodness, someone besides me who loves caterpillars!! Even though this one is a bit scary for me, I still think it's amazing..I'm glad you think it's cute. :)

  • nature geek lol!!!!

  • it looks like a mexican wave

  • it looks like its walking backwards, first i thought this video was played backwards but the part when the caterpillar goes to the other leave looks "forward" instead of "backward" so yeah that is a unique moving caterpillar

  • No, it's not played backwards. I didn't manipulate the video at all.

  • x.x How could the cars be moving forwards if the vid was backwards?

    Dee dee dee....

  • i said "first i thought this video was played backwards" so dee dee dee yourself

  • leeches cant survive on land my friend...that is a unique caterpillar

  • that's probably the cutest caterpiler I've ever seen!!^_^

  • Thanks! I didn't think it was "cute" but it was fascinating. I'm glad you liked it. :)

  • very fascinating indeed. it looks so cool moving like that

  • I love caterpillars, they are so amazing, a whole civil war starts in their body when they transform! when leeches suck your blood their saliva gets in to the wound there saliva have chemical reactions to your skin and prevent the wound to form a scab so keep wiping the blood away if you were a victim of a leech, the blood is never going to stop if the saliva is still there bleed the saliva out.

  • According to my friends I tend to get over interested in caterpillars. Can't stop watching them.

  • I know what yoy mean...I love watching them, too!

  • Dude, the little guy is moonwalking!

  • um... I'm pretty sure that's a leech. They suck your blood. And then when they finish sucking your blood they drop. To the ground. Like a big heavy sack.

  • Most leeches live near water, inside the shoremud and even terrestial leeches do not climb leaves with ease or have a furry white body. This is no leech.

  • leeches [at least the kind I *think* you're referring to - since I got bitten by one once] don't have 'feet'.

That's a catterpillar to the best of my cognitive abilities/knowledge.

  • my big heavy sack is still attached to my... LOL

  • lolololollo it was doing the WORM! get it eh?....... tough croud

  • aw this is just gross i mean really EW

  • its nature and there is nothing gross about it

  • Although I agree that there is nothing gross about it, your reasoning is flawed. Vomiting and defecating are nature as well, and I find those processes both rather "gross".

  • well gross it may be but vomiting purges the system of toxins that would make a person more sick than what they are and defecating well lets just say you dont want that crap in your body

  • Really? There is a purpose for vomiting and defecating? I had no idea. Thank you for enlightening me.

  • i love it

  • dude.. that's how caterpillars move. nothing unique about this one.

  • They must have very exciting lives. "Oh, I think I'll climb up this leaf now. As soon as I get to the bottom of this one. Yep.. I'll be there soon.. any day now. Alright, I'm on the leaf. I guess I'll climb to the top and see what kind of view I can get. Oh.. ok.. cool." *gets down and repeats*

  • gross, but nice camera. decent quality video here.

  • it looks like it was spitting something towards the beggining of the video. It might be some type of silk worm.

  • it's an alien sudspiecies that is programed to break dance...

  • It looks very... squishable...

  • I can do that!!....If I'm high enough.

  • correction, ANYTHING is possible when ur high enough!

  • Aliens! We're infested with aliens on this planet!!!

  • Damn! the cia isent even on this lvl of science and this video has proof of alein existence

  • it's a type of maggot - it will grow into a fly.

  • yup...maggot....still kinda cool looking...but I'd squish it if I saw it.

  • looks like an arthropod to me

  • too bad that's not a caterpillar

  • I wasn't sure what is was but what is it then??

  • Do the wave!

  • amazing!!! yet....ew ><
