I have to be honest about the Transformers movies.

The first film was good.

The second film I will agree it was crap.

The third film I consider to be a guilty pleasure. It has it's flaws but it's the best out of the three.

@MegaPrime300 they did bring the dead robots from the previous movies back, look at the teaser again theres the tank (brawl, i think his name was in the first film) only this time hes brown also for a brief moment you can see longhaul (who died twice in ROTF) and finally you can see Sideways getting killed by Optimus in the teaser (who was killed by Sideswipe in ROTF).

the first film had a few major plot holes but...........it got me into transformers thats why i dont hate it. It has this originality to it because it was the first time we've ever seen something like that before and some of the scenes feel somewhat memorable

I don't get it. I loved the films. They had a perfectly good, on going story, humor action and fantastic Computer Generated Imagery. I have never even know the Transformers. I've just watched the old show a couple of times, and had a few (5, 6, 7) toys. All this...It's just fantastic to me.

The special effects/cgi are probably the only few things i like about the micheal Bay films.

Well...when you're watching the G1 Cartoon nowadays it is pretty dumb. I mean, I love G1 don't get me wrong but it was just a fuckin' Ad for Hasbro. New Characters that appears randomly, no explication at all, just like if they were there the all time. It was a child cartoon. But I have to agree that now, They made a really deep story around this which is great. But pretty complicated, if you want to produce a blockbuster you must have money, or balls. Bay went for the money way.

Bay changed the Transformers story into a casual easy ( it was supposed to ) to understand to reach the most people and make money. It's all about money. And you can't make money with only geeks ( that is what Paramount is thinking ). The first Transformers was pretty great, well the "more than meets the eyes" feeling was there but the fight sequences were to shaky, and to many humans. In ROTF the fights were just AMAZING, IMO (the battles forest. nuff' said ) but the Story was crap.

Its like they just threw together some scribbled down notes and called it a script! I do have high hopes for the 3rd movie, but I am afraid that I will be let down....
