  • hey can i use steel wool

  • @MrNismogtr if its fine enough. i couldnt find anything finer than bronze wool.

  • you know you could just buy a check valve from a petstore. they are use for fishtank.

  • You can get my flash back arrestor at ebay item number: 250259467598 if you don't feel like making it yourself.

  • $40 for one cheap pvc arrestor??? way to be an ASSet to the hho community. I build these in about 3 minutes start to finish for about $4 each. How can you mark it up 1000%? Contact someone else on the scene before you get ripped off by this guy. $10 shipped would be a bit more realistic. Sell ocean front property in Ohio..

  • You put spam on this dudes video, and you didn't expect him to snap back?

  • It takes about 5 minutes for any idiot to put one together using brass pieces. It's not hard.

  • No one wants your "secret" because there is plenty of free information to build great flashback arrestors out there already.

  • Nice video. Is there a reason why aluminum or copper wool should not be used instead of brass wool?

Copper has the best thermo conductivity and copper wool can be purchased at briwax-online. comSLASHGMTCopper. html

Aluminum wool also has a higher thermo conductivity than brass wool.

Page eight of fire. tc. faa. govSLASHpdfSLASHTN05-37. pdf describes flammability of metal wools.

  • would ceramic refractory wool rated for 2300 degrees farenheight be good for this?

  • That sure would have been handy to have the other day when 2 friends and I first experimented with making HHO. We made a 2 wallplate unit in a glass jar full of water. Gee, look at the bubbles! Well....we had to see if it WAS HHO, so, one guy lit it. BANG! Glass jar exploded! Could have been a bad accident but no one hurt (ears ringing) and I have never laughed so hard in my life! BE CAREFUL and have fun with science!

  • hi,where can i get this bronze wool,i cant find it anywhere in the uk,can you help? thanks

  • same problem harpersteven had. I guess its only sold in usa. Ive found it on amazon for cheaper than i paid at the hardware. you might find it in boating supply shops. if you just cant find it, use cigarette filters and change them out regularly. good luck bud.

  • Just watched a video from sirHOAX about a flashback arrestor, he said you can get bronze wool at boating supply stores. I have some websites i know about, you could try these sites to find bronze wool. Just trying to help this movement a little bit anyway i can. They need a website dedicated to ameteur scientists regarding this highly explosive subject. Expert advice from seasoned proffesionals could post vital info for the safetey and success of these endeavors dont you agree,Best Wishes!!

  • If anyone needs bronze wool, I will sell it to you for cost plus shipping. Email me at sales(at)eliminategas(dot)com

  • great news i have gotten that far (as u have on your video there) must get the camera and show u it.. and maybe get a nozzle onto it... only problem i have about 7cm length of fine steal wool in my tube now.. is there is alot of resistance in gas flow also ill let u hear at what speed it is coming out. its not coming out continuously but like pop--pop-pop pop pop -- pop... i am guessing thats bad as u want the flam to run all the time?

  • popping from open tube? once you put a tip on it and push it all through the small hole you'll have a nice long flame. the resistance isnt important as the tip is the real bottle neck here. as the psi goes up the faster the stream of hho and better the torch. your on the right track. be sure your container can handle around 10-20psi and spark that tip up. youll love what all you can do with this gas.

  • YAY new videos!!!

    thanks man..

in cm or mm how long is that length of wire wool?

  • 3" or 76.19999999999999mm? I'd amagine you could get away with using only half of that. The stuff is so cheap you might as well shove plenty in to be safe.
