No offense to everybody who didn't like the Untitled album, but, realize this. They have ONLY 3 people in the band. They had NO drummer except for Davis, the drummer from from Bad Religion, and they're was one other guy who did the drums for "I will protect you". This album was really great it had a dark and mysterious mood to it.

well personally I think indeed this is far away from their original sound.. wich was very good but this album is much more artistic, almost progressive.. and for me that is also good! I think the finally came up with a good alternative for their first 4 albums.. because, for me, untouchables, take a look in the mirror and see you on the other side were rubbish.. I heard their next album will go back to their 'old' sound again.. to bad: I was hoping for another album like this..

Sheeeiiiitttt. They've been pushing it since after 'Follow the Leader'. 'Issues' was ok, but overall it wasn't that good.

Everything after really sucked. Just my opinion.

Man, everyone's a critic. I started listening to them from the start. They ended up hitting a wall during and after Issues. Even they weren't happy with the material for the most part. After Head (the freaking jesus junky) left, the nail was in the coffin. I have seen them live a few times over the past 5 years or so ( I used to see them quite often in the early days) and they still rock live. But, the soul and creativity is gone IMO. Much like Tool, they just aren't progressing creatively.

@filppilp2 Everybody is entitled to their opinion. I respect the fact that they still have an audience, and that they are still making music. But, it just isn't my thing anymore. Obviously, I didn't expect them to sound the same throughout their career, but I just didn't see eye to eye in regard to the direction that they took. That's the wonderful thing about art, there is plenty of it around for you to find what interests you.

Though the sound is different, and I don't prefer it, to say it lacks in the creativity department is ridiculous. And lyrically, this is probably one of the greatest albums- its much harder to use symbolism than it is to chant "Why don't you get the fuck out of my face, NOW?!" over and over again. (I absolutely love that song, btw)
