@javier20893 i think it's a series of sextuplets with accents on first and last stroke, but i can't understand if he does it as a reverse paradiddle( RLLRRL ) or normal. The accents are RllrrLRllRllrrLRllRllrrL. It's my own interpretation, similar to a cool fill I've studied years ago

@sparkles67 dont go ocdp. imho, they arent at the same level as other kits . i personally have a dw collectors series maple kit that ive owned and loved for about 3 years. to this day i still sit down at my kit and hit something and think "damn that sounds amazing." tama bubinga has a monster bass drum sound. Pearl Masterworks are also amazing, but like twice the price of DW and in my opinion, only worth it if ur rich. in reality, from any company, the high end product will always be satisfying.

People should understand that matt sorum isn't really a double bass drummer. IMO he only used it to keep time better and to fill out his drumming, which is necessary when playing in massive arenas. Which is why he always uses the same double bass drum stuff. he doesn't use it the way metal drummers do.
