  • You just want to peddle your pseudo scientific medicine.

  • Thanks! This is a great answer! It is too difficult to explain this in less then 30 seconds because it is a matter of education. This seems like the answer they use in other countries to save money on expensive pharmaceutical drugs. This would also boost the economy by providing holistic practitioners with jobs and filling the shortage of staffing in the health care community.

  • 20 - 30 SECONDS YOU FAGGOT

  • As an American Dutchman I'm amazed what a mess health care is in the US. I have a bad back because of my length and as a result of excessive windsurfing and sailing when I was a teenager. Things have changed a bit but at that time kids up to 21 years of age had social health care for $30/m. I've had all care I could ever wish for including a chiropractor, physical therapy several times for many weeks, a brace, x-rays, a corset, you name it. No questions asked, no co-payments, no nothing.

  • And to continue my story. A family member has Parkinson. Same story for $120/m. Unlimited care, meds, physical therapy, consults, you name it.

So it's possible but nevertheless so many people in the US are against reform. Really unbelievable.

And also, I think people that want to become a doctor, should become one to help people, not to drive a Ferrari. Many or even most physicians I have visited are a big scam, especially dental care.

  • 1. Masseuses are too open for exploitation.... people without any medical problems would use them.

    2. Chiropractors are not doctors, they are white collar masseuses with degrees in biology...

  • Bringing in the issue of alternative/complementary medicine is a crucial part of the healthcare discussion, if we are to be thinking long term. Our current way of dealing with our bodies is... let's face it: unsustainable. We need to be looking at both sides of the equation: reforming the system, and reforming the individuals (that's us) who use the system. What we eat, how much we move/exercise, and what we know about how our bodies work is important, if we are to take care of ourselves.

  • You bring up a very valid point, although may make the issue a bit more complicated needs to be considered & addressed. We call them (acupuncturist, chiropractor's, nutritionist, "ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE")when for example acupuncture has been practiced for several thousand years with much success & "Modern Medicine" only about 100+ years. Not to mention medical schools(*to my knowledge correct me if I am wrong) offer little to no training or mandatory courses on herbal or these topics?) THANK U!

  • I'm not paying for anyone's masseuse bills or chiropractor(white collar masseuses) bills with my taxes...

  • those massages took a lot of stress off me, i go every 2 weeks because that's what i can afford. if your job does not cause you stress then good for you but there are people out there who have so much tension in their lives that a chiropractor and a massage therapist are worthwhile if you can afford it.

people like you are selfish and don't think that if someone is well then they will be more productive and a greater overall benefit to society.

  • you are talking about stress reduction.... the list of stress reducing activities is endless. People can reduce stress by taking a bubble bath. Would you suggest that society pays for every individual's bath tub, candles, and foamy soap?

  • no, you turned my trips to the chiropractor and the massage therapist into a bubble bath. not the same thing. that's like me telling one of these people who's in chronic pain suck it up and drive on like i was told when i was in the army. suck it up and drive on does not make the pain go away. if it is serious enough for you to go to see a doctor or chiropractor then it should be taken seriously. trust me, it was a month and a half of down right pain in my shoulders and upper back before i went.

  • I believe we should have a choice as to whether or not we want to receive alternative medicine versus pharmaceutical medicine on ANY insurance plan- instead of the pharmaceutical industry/Health Insurance agencies not giving us options.

  • here in Argentina we have public FREE OF CHARGE top of the line health care, there is a hospital and small sanatories in EVERY neighborhood. thank you.

  • and they steal your kidney.

  • im so sick of pussy faggots like this guy saying thank you mr. president for the opportunity. YOU HAVE THE FUCKING RIGHT TO CHANGE YOUR GOVERNMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I'm so sick of pussy faggots like yourself complaining about Obama, well at least Obama has the balls to try to change the 8 years of mess that " your" president bush has made during his time of office.

  • omg why dont you fucking people get off of your "everyone is attacking obama" thing i didnt say a single fucking thing about him. not a single thing about obama lmao i dont know what else to say to you.

  • your a blind idiot. Bush fucked up the country in 8 years. Obama did that the first 100 days in office.

  • While it's true that we indeed have the right to change the government, don't you find it deserving of thanks that the government goes forward and takes the initiative to get people to speak? You are not begging them here, they are *asking* for your opinion. They are asking you to exercise your right to change the government, which you are right to say we have. Why are you so bitter?

  • wow this is mature and productive

  • wow this is mature and productive.

  • more focused Exercise education at schools

i don't want my tax money going for some stupid chiropracter who think he knows

  • wow this is mature and productive on an important issue.

  • I agree.

  • Alternative medicine in the US is just an excuse to suck money from rich people or insurance companies after an accident I have had my back cracked for over 8 months and it did not do a darn thing for my well being but the insurance company paid a heck a lot of money

  • That definitely an opinion of yours, and it is possible that you saw a bad chiropractor. Chiropractors help a lot of people, and that being said, they are not a waste of money. would you prefer to get surgery when it is possible to adjust your body back into alignment through chiropractic work? Massage therapists and acupuncturists do amazing work too and there work should not be looked down upon because they dont work at a hospital. Hope you get the help you need, GREAT TOPIC FOR DISCUSSION!!!!

  • Right on.

  • oooops, will redo

  • that's Ok! I do however disagree with your comment about medical doctors focusing on surgery and drugs/pharmaceuticals. I happen to be a medical doctor and I always encourage and offer my patients the option of improving their health with lifestyle changes if it is amenable to such. Not all diseases or medical problems can be cured/controlled/managed with natural/Complementary/alternative means.

  • Lol, so much for the requested 20-30 second video.
