  • Oh my, why do you folks always keep your betta together with a female (or even worse: in a community tank!). And next question: Why do you only keep two Corydoras and Otocynclus each? They, however, wanna be in a group of at least six!!

  • why dont they fight? :/ mine is fighting each other.

  • @daysleeperize Because this is a mating tank. I think he only put them together for mating.

  • wth i thought my fish was beautiful but that thing is outta this world. i hope i find a nice lookin one like that when i go for a new fish

  • thats a beautiful tank for a fighter. he's pretty too

  • how many gallons or liters are there in this aquarium?

  • complimenti! :)

  • Ahh, seems i am not the only one who thinks your tanks is really nice! I love all the plants! I recently added some more plants to my tank as well - my Betta loves all the soft leaves. He will soon get friends - but I don't want to toxic shock my tank. Nice!

  • so nice tank! lucky fish!!!

  • I would be soooooo happy if i was a betta in that

  • very beautiful tank! i like it!

  • how big is that tank? Im getting a 15 gallon tank soon and i was thinking of having 3 female Bettas and one male. Im not sure on what plants to get but the ones seem to go nicely in that tank with the Bettas.

  • why do ppl say your fish needs like 10 gal tanks? i mean putting it in a bowl is bad too but mines in a 1 gal tank and he's really happy

  • Do not keep these fish together your gunna end up with dead fish they are called fighters for a reason. I'm not having a go i'm trying to save your fish put one in a 5 gal and theyl both be happy. your fema.le has stress stripes which is deffinately not a good thing. Please if you love you fish seperate them

  • Been waiting and waiting to hear about the tank specs. Also how are the bettas doing?

  • sorry about the comment before my little brother did that =/. what i meant was i hope that the female doesn't pick on the male because it happened to my friend before and the male died =(.

  • really pretty betta's. i hope that the female doesn't pick on theligfhspoeighosighasiughdskjgnhlajghdfkjghfkjghkjghdkghskgskghksjgheriuthirewubfpWIRHWIHTQEIU25416

  • Comment removed

  • wow!

    how large is your tank?

did you buy from a breeder?

  • WTH?!

    so cool!

    i love ur male's fish..

    its tail so natural..

    and i love da colours

  • My male and female Bette Splenders are te same as yours =)

  • alot of people say that you cant put a male and a female together. Are they wrong or right?

  • it depends on the size of thank and how many hiding areas they have. generally its not a good idea, but it can be done by people with experience and extensive knowledge of the fish.

  • Horizontal stripes are O.K. It's just coloration and a genetic genotype recessive gene that is now a phenotype characteristic. like the color of hair. That's what they look like Underwater and in the wild. In the Wild they're uglier than that, with strong Hor. Lines. It would be like you dating a dirty blond, and then saying "Oh, I wanted a pure blond" Good Luck.

  • Actually, horizontal stripes can mean they're stressed out. It doesn't always, though.

  • Stripes indicate stress or readiness for mating

    Vertical- mating

    Horizontal - stress

The horizontal stripes can appear and disappear in minutes depending on the conditions the fish is in.

Also 1 female can not be kept with a male- you need to have at least 2 so the males aggression can be divided among them.

  • Looks real good. Fish looks good to. Could use other frends.

  • cool i have a Betta splendens male and two femals

  • Was wonder what size tank is this and how long have you had the 2 together. Have they bred?

  • Very Very lovely. What kind of plants are those, real, fake? If real how are you maintaining them, lights and fertilizer.

  • Beautiful Betta & Beautiful tank!

  • i cant believe how the male gets along well with the female so well.

  • Its the prfectly form that you dont can´t have a betta!! but is easy to fix it, put more caves and turn of your cascade.

  • great aq ;)

  • that tank is stunning!

and i hear cockateils in the background =]

  • i gotta say this vid is good and ur bettas seem to like eachother ...alotttt

  • beautiful bettas nice tank setup ...they really do like those plants u put in..

  • it is nice that they have soo much room, but you really can't keep male and females together on a permanent basis.

  • Male and female together, unless you are breeding them is an accident waiting to happen. Do you see the stress stripes on the female? She really isn't too happy.

Do some more research on them, please, before you end up with a dead fish

  • i was about to say the same thing! the stress marks, horizontal stripes are not good for the female betta.
