Unreal I just beat this with 55,500 points lol

just got gold on this one with 56190. it took a few tries and sadly, in the end, my standard-recipe for success prevailed again:

- use guns, upgrade them

- add temporal towers for effectiveness, upgrade them

- add inferno towers when guns can't deal with swarmers

and it worked. it's all up to timing and using interest to gain more moneys.

this is the not so good part of this game: most towers are useless and almost all levels can be beat easily with the above strategy.

Doesn't work , not even close to be honest. This has to be one of the worst examples of level design ever, in what is (in my opinion) one of the best games ever.

Yeah... Well, I beat the level on CHALLENGE - and with over $5k gold remaining, with no cores lost. The game gave me *silver*. I'm lost. What the F****** am I supposed to do?????? I did the same thing as you - why did I get silver, why did you get gold?

I did it, but not with any of the set-ups looking like this. I could only get it when I used no more than 10 towers: 1 temporal, 3 inferno, 2 laser and 4 gun. My final score is 55690, and it put my rank for this mode at 930 as of the date of this post. Ll Mm Nn Oo Pp

This build will not win on Story Challenge, I have tried it and mimicked everything that is done, but it does not work. I hav gold medals on everything except this level on Story Challenge - very frustrating level.

I didn't get the gold level, I'm playing on xbox and I need 55500 points to get gold because the scoring is a bit different, I manage to get about 55100-55200 everytime I do it, is there anyway you can help get those extra 300-400 points?

U guys are right about the 3rd wave. But the guntower he is making at 1:54 just make that one before the 3rd wave instead. And then just roll with the rest of the plan, and ur all good.

Could be. I'm still new to the whole "challenge" portion of these tower defense games. I have no problem completing the levels, but specific scores on a lot of these are becoming a problem.

Confirmed, doesn't work for me either...even though its a early level i would say its one of the toughest level to get gold medal in advanced mode
