Please don't let these clothes come back. The 80s revival is already pretty bad but please no more.

I hated it 1st time around. Hated having to wear it. Shoulder pads! Monkey boots! Horrid ill-fitting layers, pink lipstick, blue eyeshadow.. and then lucky 90s teens got to wear cute crop tops and low-rise jeans and their hair in all kinds of cool styles, and had mini skirts, strappy sandals, proper little fitted frocks...it wasn't fair.

First, I am 25 and I always envied the 80s kids - this style looked really cool to me. When I was in school (late 90's) all girls looked like strippers: hipsters, bared bellies... Nowadays adult women want to be flat and skinny like 12-year-old-anorecttics, in the 80's women were feminine and real.

Luckily, I understood it very soon: Nobody should be a fashion slave. Be yourself, girl ! You don't have to do everything the others do. If you dislike something, don't wear it .
