  • Who is against christianity and religion is against God too, and that is not bacause of bad expirience with religion, its because they didnt yet realize how mearcyful and reach with love is our God, I understand anyone who spitting on christian rock songs, in one way they dislike music or on the other way they dont want to be religious. We who already feel true love of God must pray for others to get a chance meet same lovely feeling. God bless you all no matter are you christian or ateist!

  • Wow, what a bunch of brainwashed idiots. Also, a very boring doc.

  • lol how funny/socially retarded is that dude with the beanie lol! and chick... gah. sooo if a christian song becomes, popular it is no longer 'holy', and and to the beanie guy. Paul says that we should become like the crowed to win the crowed. its time for christianity to become culturally relevant.

  • All of you people are very funny in your responses.I would have never expected such a wide range of comments. Most of them are angry at the opinions of the guy in the beanie. Not everyone shares the same opinion as he does, but you must realize that each person must ask God to show them what is right and not just go by what you "feel" and what you "think" is right.Leand to discern the spirit of God and he will lead you in the right path. For him christian rock is bad and for you it could be good.

  • ohz noez! jezuz muzak good or evilz!

  • Its funny that that girl was upset about a Christian song being played on the radio over and over. If you haven't noticed, for the past 60-70 years thats what they do. They play what everyone wants to hear. Its not the artist fault that people like their song! People, stop judging others because they are serious about their faith, just like most people ridicule people of a faith of doing that. (the pot calling the kettle black if you will)

  • i hate religion XO

  • same religion sucks. Jesus is pretty awesome tho.

  • well that's interesting. I always tend to forget that people in this world are very religious, and they see music as needing to be religious while forgetting that it's use is more of an expression of love for God. See music is a medium for worship, it is not about the initial thoughts nor the final result. Love of God begins and ends how you worship. Christian rock is simply a medium of worshiping God. If praising God means screaming and yelling then so be it, not everybody is alike. Just love.

  • God taught man how to make the very first instruments, and with them he told man, "make music that will praise my name." I do agree, that some christian rock bands are "cheaping by" because they're to afraid to say Jesus' name in a song. However, lets not forget the other bands who do say His name. I truly believe that God has made it a calling to many of the bands out there to make music in His name.

  • the guy in "theway" hat seems to think that music, ie rock music, is 'of the world' which is not true. music is from God. the bible makes it clear what is of the world; lust, idolatry, envy, quarrels, maliciousness etc. there is much more to be said in regards to music and what 'the world' is but i just want to point out that i believe his reasoning is faulty and ill-defined. 'all truth is God's truth'.

  • Dude, get a clue!!! ALL music was created by God. he is the CREATOR and the devil is the immatator. Also, they kept talking about religion in this piece of video and it is not about religion but a RELATIONSHIP with God.-Rob

  • switchfot is AWESOME i love them =]

  • o boo hoo go worship ur "GOD" jesus boy at least rock punk and metal will always rule and godsmack but there there not christian like that shit on contempory radio.

  • P.S. what's up with christians that throw up the devils horns????? are you guys that stupid to know what you're doing??? lolol

  • The devil's horns were introduced by Dio. They're originally the mano cornuto - Dio's Italian heritage (he gives his grandmother credit) is what led him to using the sign, which is used to ward against or giving of the evil eye.

Ergo, the "devil's horns" are really not that evil. They're actually fairly innocuous.

  • Rock is not just music it's a way of life. Rock is the "fuck you" in us,it's rebellion. Christian rock is the lamest music is there is nothing "rock" about it.

You should watch South Park: Christian Hard Rock....and Switch foot is fucking weak.

  • lool...i cant believe i just watched this pure stipidity....there is only good music and bad music.

  • Yes! :">

  • What's with the hair-do?

  • As a musican that plays in church often, I would like to suggest that music is often used as a tool to get peoples attention ...and then they listen to the message being given that sunday. No one should bother to be a critic of something that works to help get people into church. Michael

  • You look at your Pastor in the face with such confidence and say "Father, I play Christ metal." and the father says "The very stereotypical metal that has Jesus upside down, on a cross burning at certain times?" "Yes father the very same, it is true." "Well then, son only God can save you at this time, and let us pray he can forgive you, and spare your eternal soul for your sins my son."

  • Hey Amanda! I've posted you a little video I've done,

since you're interested in videography and Christian music. Hope ya like it!

  • Fist of all, i want to explain that Christianity is not a "religeon." Religeon is mans attempt to reach God. Christianity is God's attempt to reach man. I am a christian and i happen to like Christian rock, i don't seem to think that there is a problem with that.

  • That Erica Dunno chick has a good point. She's also cute as a button. Were these just random people that were interviewed?

  • My partner was pretty damn lazy actually. She told me she had many people lined up for this project when in fact she had none. Erica was an old roommate of her's who was dragged out of bed. Joshua is a coworker and the other guy was my partner's brother. So they're random in the sense that they were assembled on very little notice and we weren't exactly sure what they would say.

  • Go listen to some Falling Up. Listen to the lyrics. Feel the emotion. It is amazing. And still is completely one hundred percent for Christ.

  • you guys fuckin suck

  • First of all im a christian and christians are supposed to keep up with the times in order to attract new audiences. And secondly how awesome is it to turn the worlds music into to godly music duhhhhhhh.Church hymns at one time were also new

  • There's nothing like christians wasting time arguing rather than spreading the Word.

  • It sorta bugs me how much contriversy over Christian rock. To me rock is just a genre. Being a Christian is a relationship. Two things.

  • GET OFF YOUR FUCKING CROSS

  • GET OFF YOUR FUCKING CROSS

  • if he's going to say just "all christian rock is wrong", then he might just as well say "all christian music is wrong". Does he say Christian hip hop is wrong/ christian rap? Oh, no. And yes keeping our minds on God is the most important thing and most christian bands do remember that. Anything good you do can be worship if you're doing it to honour God, from dusting drums to rocking out on them. It is not fair just to assume that all christian rock is worldly.

  • This feels like a superficial diatribe. I'm not going to waste my time with this worthless finger waiving :p

  • interesting...i listen 2 whatevers good...im sick of the cliche hillsongs..to me i wonder if they are more genuine than u know a rock band liek skillet. i really do sometimes..i just feels like theyre songs are all the same these days and are tryin to attract ppl from the world not only to "save" ppl but to get recognition and mor money. i prefer skillet over hillsong anyday.

  • i would hardly call most christian rock joyful noise

plus, its mixing two things that don't belong together

  • That is just your opinion. Have you ever thought about what Christ's joyful is? As long as you are praising him I doubt that he cares if it is the Rock, Classical, Bluegrass, or country.

  • Jesus Christ.

  • Where do they find these crazy people???
