  • well at least he dared to confess his mistake, if he repented he will be forgiven though he may have to live with the consequences

  • Well first of all guys/gals, Sin is sin, we as humans choose to put sin on standards and say well I stole a pencil, or I stole a Jolly Rancher, that sin has the same "value" as a sin you've been living for 2 years.

  • @usmc1909 So you're saying stealing a pencil is the equivalent to murdering someone because sin is sin?

  • God is the god who forgives

  • @MISTERlolieatpie Does he heal as well?

  • @MISTERlolieatpie if your god was real, he would really smite this masturbating cunt with cancer

  • one must understand that everyone has "FREE WILL" and you choose your own future your own life and you ultimately make ur own choices in life. To say there is no God is just plain ignorance. yes there's poverty, drug problems, homelessness, hunger, etc... but all of it is and was done by MAN! How can you blame God for what WE have done? Jesus is a gentlemen, he's not gonna force himself upon anybody who doesn't want him in their life. But he will always love you. what we chose is not his fault!

  • @dagerm001 Dude, stop giving silly and stupid comments. No matter wad you said abt LORD JESUS CHRIST, HE still lives man! HE is still an almighty GOD. If u wan to criticize, dun criticize JESUS. Better watch ur tone douchebag. Oh! in fact u have alrdy surpassed the lvl of douchebag. Realize that! _l_

  • @SayaYe Jesus still lives? Where is he? You should tell him to stop buy, I'll teach him how there is much more to the world than cheesy magic tricks like walking on water and changing water into wine. Didn't Chris Angel walk on water? Maybe he's Jesus. It's okay slave, obey your master, like it says in the bible. Don't use reason, logic, or any thinking faculties your wonderful mind has the power to posses. Keep believing in magic sky gods and talking snakes. The rest of the world has moved on.

  • We've all sinned some time in our life, and he now that he has sinned we judge him. There is no such thing as big sin and small sin just sin, and even though he did wrong why do we keep it against him? God knew what he was doing and used that Healer song to not only anoint him and reveal his sins but to anoint those around him. We're all human, so don't judge.

  • @MultiSkittles7 With that logic, you think we shouldn't judge rapists and murders because we are humans and shouldn't judge? Just left your invisible god in the sky handle everything and we'll all be okay. Do you realize how fucked up our world would be if we didn't "judge" people ourselves?

  • @dagerm001 let*

  • @dagerm001 SADLY we are all human and all fallen short. Even though we go to church and get told we will live awesome spirit-filled lives of prosperity, health and happiness - the truth is we don't. Even though we are meant to have a special connection with God. Truth is we don't. What freeabij says is true. We're not allowed to judge, question or even discuss such things. We have to leave all the thinking to our leaders.

  • you know even with every thing that you said GOD STILL LOVE YOU

  • @dagerm001 It's alright I'm not trying to get you to buy in cause I know Jesus already paid the price. Sometimes the truth seems to good to be true because our mindset has been conformed to the world's. Jesus came to break us free from religion and give us a personal relationship with him. God Bless you brother(:

  • hahahaha, what the?? i mean, the oxygen bottle....bizarre! very strange. but i guess if God's spotlight shines on our individual lives, there's probably things just as strange! except i don't have an oxygen bottle in my closet. lol

  • @esq8 Dear Lord Pastor Micke needed that oxygen bottle because he really was sick. Constantly masturbating can damage the lungs. Praise Jesus though, he was healed of the fake cancer and now Jesus is working in his life to heal him of the porn. Hallelujah.

  • @redback80 lung damage? crap!

  • According to all the christians here saying it isn't our job to judge crimes; It's "gods" job. Does this mean we can all commit crimes and get away with it as long as we repent? So I can commit rape, and all I have to do is repent? I can lie to people, and steal their money, but I'm okay as long as I ask god to forgive me? If you think it's justifiable to say you can commit crimes and get away with it if you repent. You people disgust me.

  • @dagerm001 we have all sinned. and when one of our leaders sins we just go 'oh well, they're forgiven'.

  • @dagerm001 here's the definition of Repent from the Miriam-Webster dictionary. Repent - to turn from sin and dedicate oneself to the amendment of one's life. The truth is none of us are without sin. "All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags;"(Isaiah 64:6). Read the book of John, you will understand Jesus lived by HATING sin but LOVING the sinner that was the whole purpose of the cross. We are made righteous only by FAITH, GRACE & the BLOOD(:

  • @ajedrums I can be a good, caring person without buying into your blood cult. I, for one, am without sin, and have never sinned because I don't believe in any god. I think telling people that they are evil and sinners and can only be saved by giving up their life to a worthless religion (who's god is not so loving as you try to make it seem) is very disrespectful on your behalf.

  • @dagerm001 Sorry that you don't understand the love of God. For GOD so loved the world he gave his one and only son that whoever believes in HIM shall not perish but have eternal life. God has alreary forgive him. Sin has a price and he is paid for. We all siners even if you don't believe Jesus paid the price for you to be save is up to you to go hell.

  • @dagerm001 you have to realize that even though we get forgiveness, God is still just and fair, true forgiveness can only be achieved by genuine repentance, if you use the grace of God as an excuse to fall into perrennial sin, then there is no true forgiveness, C`mon man, for a guy who seems `smart`, you cant put the pieces together. The bible, of all the other books ever created, makes perfect sense. Rightfully so because it is divinely inspired. Cheers brother

  • @dagerm001 Are you done? I don't understand you atheist. You say you don't believe in God but you believe in a higher power. Sin is sin, we're all sinners until we repent and be baptized in Jesus' name. Being a good person isn't enough to get you to heaven, and by the time you reach hell maybe then you'll understand and see that God does exist. BTW it's not a blood cult or whatever you wanna put it as, it's a life we live trusting God to make a way. So Don't Hate Just Appreciate.

  • @MultiSkittles7 I don't believe in a higher power. Your philosophy is based on hatred and casting out people who don't agree with what you believe. To any sane person, you are all delusional. And You can threaten me with hell all you want, but I'll just sit back and laugh. You threatening me with hell is like saying to someone, "Santa isn't going to bring you presents." Well I don't believe in santa, nor do I believe in a god or hell.

  • @MultiSkittles7 But even though I don't believe that childish nonsense, I still take offense that anyone in their right mind would threaten someone with eternal torture, even though they are not bad people. People like you need psychological help. You are what's wrong with the world. Until people like you dissipate from this planet, the human race will never be able to move forward in a positive manner.

  • @dagerm001 Gods not an idiot... and He is not mocked...and where do you find the basis of what you’re saying. If you knew God. Also if you knew what Hell is who it is meant for.so it would better for you to repent, only if you knew, if you only knew about Heaven. And then again if you only knew That Jesus died for you. So you don’t have to go to Hell. But you have no idea and in ignorance lot of people will reject God's Love and end up there. But, hey it’s what you’re willing to Know (john 3:16)

  • @THEKINGDOMOFGOD1 Well I never asked this guy named Jesus to die for me. Besides the fact that we have no other accounts of the crucifixion besides in the bible, I don't think there's a basis for anyone to say I am a sinner. I am a disgusting person that was born with original sin for something I didn't do. Why would god punish us for what Adam and Eve did? So he creates us as sinners, and tosses us in the world and told ask for forgiveness or we will suffer in hell. This is so stupid to believe

  • @dagerm001 hey man, if you really wanna look into to know the truth, you'l know ..i mean if you really are determine to know if He is real or a joke, if this Jesus is real.. you will know and no one will convince you other wise..but in my opinion i think we can truely judge after we have come to know all we can know.

  • @THEKINGDOMOFGOD1 When I was a kid, I used to pray every night, begging god to help my family through our struggles. I use to think, " Maybe if I pray to this god, he'll hear me." Your god is supposedly all knowing and all powerful, but lacks the common decency to help his own creations that are in need. With poverty in countries, people literally starving to death, homeless and helpless, I've come to realize that praying to god is useless.

  • @dagerm001 If you read the bible there were a lot of countries who went through famines. God has a reason for everything you may not like everything he chooses. He never promises in His Word that everything is like heaven on earth. I could share with you all the troubles I went through, God never left me when I went through them. Read the book of Job, He got it the worst but still trusted God, he was blessed more in the end then the beginning because he never cursed God. He never left you

  • @THEKINGDOMOFGOD1 Yeah, that's not proof of anything. Muslims say they are saved by their god, does that mean their god is real as well? I have been open to wondering if there is another realm outside of our own. There's a possibility there is one, but we have no reason to believe their is one.And there's no reason to believe there's a spiritual realm. If you read the bible, you can find that slavery is okay. That women are less than men. That you can kill your child if he doesn't obey you.

  • @THEKINGDOMOFGOD1As for Job; god is so petty that he ruined a man's life just to prove a point to Satan? God is all powerful, why does he have to prove anything to anyone. What he did was very sick; torturing his own creation just to prove a point. It's sadistic. And that is if you believe a fairy tale like that. The bible has been altered for thousands of years. On top of that, there are no records of any of the happenings in the bible, in any other texts that can qualify its writings.

  • @dagerm001 Ala contraire... in the end Job was more blessed than ever. Besides, what's more important: the toys that a parent gives (and can take away), or the parent?

  • @THEKINGDOMOFGOD1 Actually getting out and helping one another has more effect than 1 million people praying together could ever have. Your god, if he is real (which is highly unlikely) has forsaken his creations. And if he is so real, why doesn't he show himself like he used to in the bible? What is he hiding from? More and more people are losing their faith on a daily basis, where is he to lead us on the right track? Maybe he doesn't exist.

  • @dagerm001 I have to say, I disagree with you completely. Really I’ve personally seen God do so many things through His servants. I just finished watching a testimony of God amazingly saving someone. Btw, you probably never have even imagined that there is a spiritual world more real than this one. But yeah that realm I am talking about operates in prayer. I know you may not understand, but Jesus love you. If you want I can send you videos boost your faith but it’s in your hands to believe.

  • @dagerm001 Okay, you are missing the point of repentance. The point is not for you to be forgiven and go and do whatever you want. The point of repentance is for you to turn away from your sin with God's help, and to live a life presentable to Him.

  • @robbie021296 Well I am not a slave. There is no supernatural being that I have to be accountable to. I am accountable to only the people on this earth if I do wrong, and nothing beyond that. And if Jesus dying on the cross was to cleanse us of our sins, why are we still sinners? What was the point of dying for us, if in the end, we still have to repent anyway? That makes a lot of sense. For an all knowing, all powerful being, your god is really petty and foolish.

  • @dagerm001

it annoys me when people show their ignorance of christian doctrine will such ill deserved confidence. If you read the message of the bible it makes perfect sense. the doctrines of grace explain exactly that. You cant force a gift on anyone. if you try... its not a gift anymore

  • @dagerm001 I am truly sorry that you feel that way. The point of Jesus dying wasn't so I would immediately go to heaven. The world was full of sin and that is the reason Jesus came. He gave us the choice. Just because you repent doesn't give you a spot in heaven. You have to decide to live a holy life.

  • @dagerm001 It is just like anything else you do whether it be playing football, doing a certain job or living for God. it takes serious commitment.

  • @robbie021296 There is a bit of a difference between Tim Tebow and Michael Guglielmucci.

  • @dagerm001

It's written in the Bible that God can see hearts and cannot be deceived. If repentance isn't genuine, than neither is that sin forgiven. Sunday school stuff really.

  • @dagerm001 The Bible says that Christians must follow laws of the land. Romans 13:1-2 tell us to be in subjection to the superior authorities even as we are to God. further, we are to be in relative subjection to kings and governors as they have their positions due to God's allowance. (1Peter 2:13-17). Therefore our crimes can be judged by people on earth, unless it is against our faith, like if it was against the law to read bible. So you cant live double standard. Rape is wrong, no question

  • @8lackStar7

He's got no style, he's got no grace

He's banal and facile, he's a fat waste of space

  • @dagerm001 Christianity is not about being perfect. That is the beauty of it. I do believe that God will judge each and everyone of us based on His view of our actions. That does not mean you can commit rape and just repent of it. It does mean that you can be forgiven. Please do not Judge God or Christ Jesus based on the way in which you see Christians behave, that is exactly WHY we need Jesus. Christians here seem to me, to be saying that none of us can cast the first stone.

  • @dagerm001

Actually no its not ok. You are forgiven, because you are loved, and imagine you were constantly being afflicted with guilt all your life for something you regret and you will not do again and have not since, you will not live a free and happy life. Everyone needs to be punished in accordance to the crime you have committed, but all God does is give you a second chance to change and repent. Repentance does not give you the authority to sin again intentionally, we all make mistakes

  • @alicerp2008 Your god is really incompetent. He creates us fallible and punishes us for being the way he created us. What a complete idiot.

  • @dagerm001 I think alot of people miss the whole concept of grace, Paul puts it simply, we shouldn't continue to live in sin, forgiveness is for all, rapists, thieves, murderers, etc. however, for those people who "say" that they have repented and continue down a road which is contradictory to what they say then I honestly do not believe they are honet with themselves or God, and in that case aren't forgiven.

  • @gladwin2011 If you believe god created everything, you also have to believe that god (knowingly) created rapists, murderers, and thieves. So how can your god create imperfect beings and tell them to be perfect, or beg for forgiveness because he created them this way. How does this make any sense???? I know that you all can preach bible versus and whatnot, but that doesn't justify anything you believe.

  • @dagerm001 God creates human with FREEWILL, the will to do good or evil. a good person can turn into rapist, murderer if he/she choose to do so under certain circumstances

  • @tuju77 But if you believe god created everything, you must believe he created good and evil. It's god's fault there is evil in this world. So why would he punish us for what is his fault?

  • @dagerm001 I believe God did not create evil, even satan or devils are the fallen angels who chose to rebel against God, you see God created human or angels with freewill I stress that again. So all the evil that happen in this world is because human choose to do so.

  • @tuju77 If you believe god created everything, you have to believe he created evil. It doesn't matter if he gave you free will. But god's all powerful, all he has to do is destroy the evil that he created, which will in the end would stop suffering, right? He's punishing us even though he created us to be easily mislead. That's sadistic.

  • @dagerm001 God did not create evil even when He created the first human which was Adam. Adam rebelled against God when he ate the fruit that God forbid, thats where sin or evil started to flourish in human heart. God is destroying the work of evil thru His people, it is His way of using human to fight evil, if u dont understand this and u may never will. If We suffer because of our mistakes or sins thats the consequences, u cant blame God because u got accident by drink and driving

  • @tuju77 He created satan. All god has to do is destroy satan, destroying evil.

  • @dagerm001 God is destroying the work of satan even as we speak now, according to His way not our way. Someday satan will be judged and thrown to lake of fire, the time?only God knows but it is closing in

  • @dagerm001 It's not our place to judge, but at the same time it doesn't mean we can willingly commit sins and expect God to forgive just by asking. It's not about our words and actions.. It's about our heart. Only God knows where we stand before him. Luke 16:15 He said to them, "You are the ones who justify yourselves in the eyes of men, but God knows your hearts. What is highly valued among men is detestable in God's sight.

  • @yoursalone38 Your god created us with sin, and he's going to punish us if we don't act in a manner that goes against how we were created? 'He' (a perfect being) created us (imperfect beings) and tells us to repent for being imperfect, or we will be punished with hell fire? Do you not see the paradox in that? Your god sounds like a sadistic idiot.

  • @dagerm001 there are laws that govern all crimes committed by human, trespass all those laws then jail is waiting for you. What these christians means were all our sins can be forgiven by God if we ask His forgiveness but you may have to live with the consequences. So if you steal and get caught, you can ask forgiveness with God but hey, you still have to go to jail pal because you broke the law!! hope u understand

  • It'snot enough for him to confess his sins. I hope he went to jail and then a mental hospital.

  • Wow, what a fraud! Standing up there with oxygen in his nose? You can forgive him if you want, but I don't know how you forget. Some of us have real illness.

  • UNLIKE human Beings who are unforgivable... GOD forgives!! And because He has confessed his Sins and repented, he is forgiven! in Any case! THIS SONG never would have come out, if he Did'nt write this song.. and this song got me through my 4 year old from having cancer, who is now cancer free!!! Thank you to KARI JOBE for resinging the song beautifuly and making it anointed!! I just hope Mike will be delivered and move on!!

  • @morningangel88 Kari Jobe is doing a great job of honoring the legacy of Ps Mike. She is not the brightest light bulb on the christmas tree but she believes in Ps Mike and that's all that matters. She's the one who has kept this dream alive. Shame on you ACC leadership. As an Australian I feel so disappointed that it has taken a fucking American to keep Ps Mike's song alive. The Hillsong leadership should hang their heads in shame.

  • @morningangel88 So your 4 yr old had cancer? And this song healed them? Praise Jesus! That is fucking awesome! You should drag them to church and we will worship them!

  • Honestly... I was amaze seeing the healer music video first... coz I don't about mike and I have all the hillsong mp3's on my phone... out of curiousity I searched for the video coz he has a great voice and made a great song out of this... then I was curioused again why he's wearing those stuffs. by reading the comments I was shocked and leaded me to this interview. imo he's just a man who made mistakes and God is a forgivable God, only God can judge him. nevertheless I salute him for his truth

  • @jwinterph Amen. He is a champion and a hero and a testament to the mighty ministry of the Assemblies of God. Michael walked through fire so that we could be touched by his mighty words in this song. He suffered the pain and torment of porn addiction and cancer, vomiting in buckets, pulling his hair out and constantly masturbating. Like Jesus on the cross - he took on our pain. Worse than Jesus though because Jesus didn't have to put up with the media scrutiny that Mike has endured. All for us.

  • @MrILYJesus I'm not being funny, but nothing is worse than what Jesus had to go through. I didn't know anything about his masturbation or sex addiction because it's not in this video. All I realised him saying was that he was never actually diagnosed with cancer..

Crucifixion and flogging for the sins of the world cannot be compared to those things. Jesus had to do that for people like us.

  • No matter what has happened behind the scenes this song has made a difference in my life and there's no doubt the Spirit was speaking through him when he wrote it.

And you can see the difference when you look at him here in the interview and before that something has changed in him to bring out the truth.

  • @TheWalkerA25 The song is an anointed one. When Michael first spoke to the Holy Spirit about this song I'm sure he wanted to tell the world about his deep love of porn, sex and masturbation. But then the Holy Spirit did something divine and gave him cancer. It was only then two years later from the prayer and faith of planetshakers and Hillsong youth and young prayer warriors around the world, that he was set free of the cancer that had riddled his body. God had a plan all along.

  • lol, its a pretty good song though ahahah God I love you more for your grace to humble people.

  • I think what we are forgetting here is that maybe Michael really did have cancer. He never went to a doctor - so it was never proven he didn't. The people around him thought he had cancer. God thought he had cancer. Even Pastor Brian Houston thought he had cancer. That should be all we need. I'm sure Michael never set out to create any falsehoods. He's an anointed son of God and we should forgive him and reinstate him to the ministry and pay him damages.

  • EN MI OPIÑON CREO QUE MAS ALLA DE TODO LO QUE INVENTO MICHAEL GUGLIELMUCCI Y MAS ALLA DE QUE AYA VIVIDO UNA DOBLE VIDA..CREO QUE NOSOTROS NO SOMOS NADIE PARA JUZGARLO ALLA ECHO LO QUE ALLA ECHO...Y NO DEFIENDO LO QUE HIZO...SIMPLEMENTE PIENSEN QUE HARIA EL SEÑOR JESUS EN TU LUGAR...RECHAZARIA,CRITICARIA,JUSGARIA...PIENSENLO

  • God is awesome. If you all have a bible! Romans 2. I just read this, this morning. This man did lie, and he shamed the name of Christ yes. But Just because he did that, does not make every christian a live, a horrible person. u put us in a category where we don't belong, We are all SINNERS and we all deserve to go to hell. but by the grace of God he died on the cross and saved us! So MrUreeka please do read that passage, and if you have never sinned, then please continue your bantering.

  • Utterly unrepentant cunt.

"The last two years have been hell for me physically and emotionally."

"There was a great level of strain"

"I had to come up with some sort of explanation for what was happening in my body"

  • @Alohomora42 Yes. You summed it up well.Poor guy - he was going through torment. Some Christians even say that what he went through was worse than suffering from cancer. His Dad is just as bad. Damage control, brand management and the Sgt Shultz excuse. Fuck, for two years your son pretended he was dying of cancer and you just swallowed the whole thing? Yet go to his Edge church on a Sunday and his congregation will tell you this 'anointed' man had great insight, discernment and vision.

  • WOW....what a hit to the body of Christ.

  • Peacelove and honour. Christ man give us a break

  • Typical bloody fanatcal fundamentalistic evangelcal so ncalled Christians even when so called truth is exposed they still believe it and find some way to make it allright!!. If Jesus was real he would be ashamed of you!

You are so easily decieved by this what does that tell you about your religion, Wake up and THINK for a change,

  • Call a spade a spade and don't be such goody goodies and idiots-even Jesus repudiated the pharisees and money changers from his father's house. GO YE AND DO LIKEWISE.

  • Lke all false prophets he s full of crap. And this doesn't put you Christians in good light in that you believed him. So much for the gift of discernment!! Where is truth when you need it??

And all you defending this you are deceived by your own fanaticism, and eagerness to believe what is, let's be honest here, a lie and wilful deception.

  • @MrUreeka How does this put us in a bad light? this man lead a great act, and lied to us. Yes we were deceived. And you have never been deceived before? I am so sick of people blaming ALL Christians, for one person who is human and screwed up! Get over it. because he is famous, that is the reason you are putting so much emphasis on him, i screw up daily! im a sinner! but God is gracious and He forgives, thank goodness He didn't give us the power because non would be forgiven.

  • @whitv0102able

actually i have never heard of hm and I was hntng that as Xns you are supposed to be led by the Spirit Guess He/It ddn't get thru to you lot

  • So, his parents were planning his funeral? Didn't they believe he would be healed? 'Oh yes yes of course we believed he was going to be healed.' But why were you planning his funeral then? 'Oh oh oh, just in case all this healing bullshit wasn't real.'

OK. No wonder your son is messed up.

  • I don't care if Pastor Danny and Pastor Mike show disrespect to cancer sufferers. The Gospel is more important. Pastor Mike wanted to see souls saved. That's more important than cancer.

  • Mike, you are Forgiven! God bless you, I pray that your friends and family find it in their hearts to forgive you as well.

  • @IanMac50 No, he's not forgiven.

  • i find this act to be satanic! look what he did to his family, his church and the public. deceived everyone for 2 years. God will forgive, as long as Michael repents, as he should!

  • @DiivaGal Simply amazing how you religious people think that the victims are his family, church and the public. What about the all those genuine cancer sufferers out there who were mocked by this wicked act? No-one gives a damn whether his church was deceived or not, thank you very much. A lot of those kinds of institutions bring out the behavior you saw in the video

  • lo perdono!

  • @GuitarrErik Who cares if you forgive him? What does that matter?

  • There are many people on this earth living a double live, but it takes boldness to confess. Thank God he did and hopefully other people will start to confess aswell. STOP judging him and just forgive. And continue to pray for him and other people too

  • @lovesmoi19 Get a grip. Its all part of the christian fraud. He was setting himself up for the "miracle" cure which would have made himself and his church millions of dollars. As Chris Hitchens once said "I think its a pity there is no hell for you people to go to"

  • @gunfiremessiah

well hitchens is probably in hell right now. the majority of christians are good people who do their best to help others and be good disciples of Christ. Hitchens was a very horrible and nasty bit of work. He showed no love to others but just found ways to push his condescending opinion on people. His brother did his best to minister to him.

  • I'm with brocky.

  • Michael Guglielmucci.. you made a bold step, brother. I am curious how you are doing now but I pray that God is showing you immense grace over all of this. I am amazed at how you confessed it all.... I am no better than you. I'm not better than you at all.

  • 1 John 1.9 tells us that if we confess our sin, He is just and faithful to forgive us and cleanse us from all our unrighteousness. God bless you brother...

  • @kram081706 "God bless you", and that makes everything OK, I suppose. Nonsense.

  • What an evil and greedy bastard! His tears are laughable! Some people have no shame! At least he 'fessed up but I'll bet he made a lot of money for his church and himself!

  • @stlgtrace Well said.

  • It's sad to see so-called mature christians having no discernment or answers as to why this happened. You've only got to attend one of these churches to see the overwhelming dynamics of emotional manipulation, hear the ambient New Age style music playing in the background during "testimonies", to see that there are other forces at work here than the "Holy Spirit". If you play with fire you get burnt. Poor Michael is also a victim as he got caught up in that dynamic of weekly bless me sessions.

  • yea what he did was wrong...but his repentance sounds genuine and as much as I have messed up - I can't cast a stone at this guy. Just glad he made things right. JESUS - still saving lives :)

  • It doesnt matter if this guy lied or not this is one of the most powerful songs in christain music!! and God did heal him of his addiction so we dont need to judge. Looking at that stuff is just as bad as lieing. So no need to judge

  • @jajajajagh Thanks, but yes we will judge. And yes, it does matter if someone lies and insults people who genuinely suffer from cancer.

  • I'm sure he didn't fool every body and besides he's got free will and it's his choice whether or not he chooses to be honest.. For years I felt the anointing had left Ray Boltz life but I couldn't put my finger on it until he came out from his dark closet

  • Everyone can be easily manipulated. None of us know the source of our news, our food, our clothing. It is all spoon fed to us. It's not a Christian thing...it's a whole world being distracted thing.

  • @lovehatelove3 Dumb people can be easily manipulated. That doesn't include everyone. For those of us who have a brain - we don't attend pentecostal churches.

  • Religious fools are easily manipulated.

  • @JohnWoo So true. They go to church and check their brains in at the door. Then forget to pick them up again on the way out. "Oh shucks, Mike lied, but hey.. haven't we all? Hehe.." Dumb? Oh who are we to judge? hahaha

  • I think the confession was due to the unraveling of his lies. He kept it up for 2 yrs and added to it with oxygen mask and shaved head! My husband struggles with this addiction as well and I hate it so It's not easy to brush this off with no hard feelings, but we're not supposed to judge because we don't know the whole story. God does which is why he's qualified as judge. Think about growing up a pastors son and taking this sin on as a teenage boy with no one to turn to for help due to the sham

  • @lovehatelove3 I agree. Some people say he was courageous and mighty because he confessed. I just think he had to because he had no choice.

  • i have to admit i cried while watching this piece. what a shame that he felt he couldnt turn to anyone at all for help. i know what that feels like. i hope that he can finally get the help he so needs. God bless.

  • @zephian921 He was surrounded by all of the heavyweights of Australian pentecostalism and couldn't turn to anyone?

  • This is heartbreaking. It makes me so angry with Satan. As Christians we need to be in prayer for all Christian leaders around the world. I pray that God turns this around for his glory.

  • @SharalynnR prayer's not going to do anything. you're wasting your time.

  • It breaks my heart that Pastor Mike has still not returned to full time ministry. I was hoping that after his confession that people would forgive and he would go on to do God's mighty work.

Hillsong and the ACC over-reacted to this story when it broke. Sadly, the devil words of the worldly media got in their ears. Danny's dad believed that Michael was really sick. But Pastor Brian described it as an' Academy Award' performance. We must bring Pastor Mike back soon! Praise Jesus!

  • I'm really interested to know what prompted him in the end to confess. I've heard that he was 'outed' by a doctor, but I'm not sure that's entirely correct. I've also heard that family members started questioning him when his stories didn't add up.

To the people who say 'at least he confessed - takes a mighty man of God to do that'.. I say - no - after two years his lies were unravelling. He either had to confess or make out he'd been miraculously healed.

    He went the easy option.

  • 8:54 "It was a big shock, but you know...can't hold it against him, we've all sinned". That sums it up right there folks, you can get away with fraud as long as you get yourself called 'Pastor'.

You can hold fraud against someone, you absolutely can hold someone morally culpable for deceit, it's an intrinsic part of our human nature, let alone our legal system.

I will judge him, as he was held up as a role model for the community, and what he did was malicious.

  • @JambalayaCreole Only God can judge. Man has no right to judge. You have to realise Pastor Mike will come back and he will lead a revival in this great south land of the Holy Spirit. And even you will be saved. Pastor Mike will forgive you for calling him a fraud because he loves everyone. And Pastor Mike wants you to know that you too can have an awesome Holy Spirit filled life powered by grace. Just believe in him and all your illness will be healed. Praise this mighty man of God.

  • It is the Holy Spirit's job to convict, God the Father's job to Judge, and our job to LOVE!!!!!!!!!

  • @frencherican Then how do you explain Jesus' words in John 7:24?

Thou shall not judge is NOT the 11th Commandment.

  • @TheNarrowWay13 We have all sinned. And we have all lied. Lying about cancer is no different to lying to someone by saying 'no! your ass does not look big in those jeans'. it's all OK. When God told Mike that he had cancer he must have been thinking 'first porn addiction, and now this?' But as the bible says 'God moves in mysterious ways' and as pentecostals we must do nothing else but speak in tongues and pray in a situation like this. I believe Pastor Mike did no wrong. Satan is to blame.

  • @frencherican This is such a wonderful verse. Where can I find it in the bible?

  • Wow, this is really sad, but it happens. At least he chose to share and confess, and ask forgiveness publicly, a lot more than a lot of other pastors who hide in their shame or blame. May God bless him and continue to work in him, just like we all need God to help us.

  • Although he made mistakes and lied, how many of us have lived this lie? And done things so extreme...God will forgive as long as you repent and is a loving God. So don't judge him for his negative actions, look at yourself before judging anyone else.

  • final comment .. "Do Not Judge!" Jesus said... because you ,me all of us have sin ok ? no perfect man except Jesus Christ only.. Lets End this comments with Love.. ok ?

Love One Another just as Jesus Loves us. :)

  • what the enemy plans for evil god can use for good!

  • the truth is that this is the majority of pastors, priests, and ministers. i think we all play a role to a degree. but he did come out eventually. sounds familiar. thank you lord for your grace.

  • He did the same thing jesus did :D

  • He is using that song, with thousands of believers, to pray for him to be healed, not physically, but with his inner struggles. God bless

  • He is using that song, with thousands of believers, to pray for him to be healed, not physically, but with his inner struggles. God bless

  • He is using that song, with thousands of believers, to pray for him to be healed, not physically, but with his inner struggles. God bless

  • Absolute proof that God doesn't heal the sick anymore. People are too riddled with sin and apostasy for God to even bend an ear.

"I spilled hot starbucks coffee on my arm when I lifted my hands in worship."

    Church. . . how pathetic.

  • @revealer007 god heals those who belive with a attitude like that you wont be healed you need to believe then miracles will happen and just a little side note try concentrating on god not starbucks

  • This time, love the song, not the singer! Song is inspired through a lie but what person did was bad, God turns it for GOOD For All - HEALING TO ALL THE PEOPLE and MANKIND! I cant say thank you to Michael but I CAN SAY THANK YOU TO ABBA FATHER, the Almighty GOD! Amen.

Bless Michael and this is the time that we should learn FORGIVENESS - forgive him as God would have done to the prodigal son and this time is Michael......

  • cant believe it but song is still good

  • Charlatan, impostor, crook, liar. Lying about cancer - how low can anyone stoop? A lie forgiven by the religious, committed by the religious, in the name of religion. It's disgusting.

  • Wow.... this is insane, but he came out to ask for forgiveness. Who are we to be judging him? We should thank God for giving him the courage to confess. We should pray that he will continue on this new path of truth. This is all we can do for him.

  • wow I actully thought this man was actully dignose with cancer. When I watched healer song then When I watched this I still see the other way around it. that his story can teach others.

  • Just shows how the world absolutely does not understand Grace, or even relationship with Jesus Christ vs. religion. 1. The people were not "his" followers (as the news anchor said at first), they followed Jesus. 2. He lied, yes, but a conman and using the song for financial gain as a ruse? No. 3. People weren't "conned" into buying the song because he had "cancer"; they bought the song and CD because it is anointed and in worship of Jesus. 4. Sin does cause sickness and leads to death.

  • @WhatIsALieWODeceived So TRUE. AMEN.

  • yep mike told a lie but the song written is still one of my favs today.

  • Just because his illness was a lie, his song and the words that he preached all spoke the truth of Jesus Christ! lets not judge him as the bible says judge not for God will judge you! lets pray for Mike and hope that God delivers him!! We are all sinners and every sin is the same and equal in Gods eyes! God bless Mike and I pray that he is well xxxx

  • God bless you Michael Guglielmucci. Kiss.

  • who cares if it was a lie. that song is amazing. this news lady needs to stop, shes making it worse than it needs to get. that song is still life changing and brings tears and prayer on its own. i'd like it if it were a christian that would have done this story.

  • Today Tonight is a ridiculous name for a news programme :P

  • Who are we to judge? Everyone sinned and maybe at this very moment is still in sin. The good thing is that Satan is defeated because another son of God has turned his back from the lies of the enemy and returned to the truth. God is indeed our healer and He can also heal Mike G. from the addiction that he has been suffering.

  • I love michael and I pray for him, brooke frasier, and for hillsong church! Mike went through pain and you know what we are not to judge but to pray to Jesus for forgiveness because we all fall short of the glory of God! I love hillsong!

  • Satan also a liar whats the difference?

  • Craft the fact is u fool people may your soul be forgiven gey a real life you are disgrace in the world of christianity .... I am so upset i should talk to u one on one and slap ur face with the bible.

  • Michael, my heart goes out for you. Jesus isn't coming to the world to save the righteous but HE came for sinners just like you and me. We are all sinners and when we humbly admit and expose the lies, Evil has no portion in you. You came out bravely - Mark 2:17 is for you. So long you repent, expose and live according to what Jesus wants, to Love others - you are more than a conqueror. God Bless you.

  • It breaks my heart that they call him a "Con-man" and say he was "conning" people..He was sick and God is his healer!! Although he lied about what sickness he actually had and he sinned and he deceived, his heart behind that was never evil. God loves Michael and is so proud of his son for coming clean, repenting and returning to his Father!

  • This is what Christianity is about, we should forgive and forget, after all we all make mistakes in our own ways and need forgiveness of any sort. Mike, I support you for the courage to come forward and put things right. You have been blessed with your talented gift to produce such great worship songs, please give us more..

  • That's why people should not assume that pastors and people who know God have it all together. I'm feel very sorry for him because now nobody trusts him when in fact he has made a mistake that most men make. Lying to preserve an Image.

  • Definitely shows that God can use anyone for His purpose!!

  • regardless of the story behind this song it is still a song with a very powerful message and is used by myself when i lead worship in my local church, we all make mistakes and sin but it doesn't make us bad people it makes us human.

  • I balled the first time my worship pastor played this song for our chior. I understand the sin but The song is still anointed. I love it. Nothing's going to change that! God bless!

  • ah well, better pray for him then! still... a good song though!

  • How could this happen? I think the better question is "how could this NOT happen?" Sin is sin in God's eyes and we ALL have something to hide until we repent. His sin is no worse than if I lie about anything....it's just that his sin shows and mine might not. God is all about forgiveness just for this very reason. Thankfully God is the healer of all. I pray for him and his family, as I'm sure millions are. Bet his prayers today are a whole lot more intense and his love for God has grown!!

  • although he wrote the song behind lies, the song is amazing and the lyrics are so true. But i have no sympathy for this man....

  • all of this love and forgiveness is just fine BUT he needs and hopefully has had legal ramifications and charges to this pretext he put on.Should the church wish to pursue discipline or what ever or however they wish fine but there must be a civil accounting that a message clearly and legally reaches him
