Queensland please tell me! In NZ or down under is goats introduced as pests? i mean i love hunting but i kill them for food. do you leave the carcass 'cuase i got penalized...
Goats were introduced as domesticated livestock. They can survive in terrain that most animals cannot and can climb shear cliffs to avoid dogs. The short answer is they are pests if not contained. Their control is encouraged by the Australian authorities. The Australian ecology is unique and very fragile. Hoofed animals cause major destruction to the ground and flora. What we don't eat is left and quickly cleaned up by wild pigs, eagles and dingoes. Hope this answers some questions :-)
so not why not just hunt them all down??? I mean u leaft so many alive.. here in canada BC if something is introduced its open season no bag limit... Guy with the bigest pile at the end of the day wins
Nice video, thanks for sharing. Excellent use of available resources, (feral goats); an enjoyable activity out in nature. A good example of who really protect nature. And, oh yeah...Extramural...nice, mature response. I can see what you really think of your fellow man. How much time have you spent in real nature? I already know the answer..not much. Your attitude shows you're just one of the hordes of the the other confused anti's who are disconnected from nature.
omg its a fucking goat they fucking fuck all day like rabbits theres billions of them and im pretty sure its not your goat and im sure that the guy will actually do something with the goat later like eat it or something its not like hes shooting just to kill something just get over it fucking pussies
We are a Chinese family shortly moving to NSW (Bathurst area) my son wants to learn to shoot and hunt and we like the responsible side of your video clip. Hunting is a good experience and too many western people are sentimental. Animals are part of food chain and we are people are predators. I OPPOSE cruelty of course but clearly in this case there was no cruelty just professional hunting. Well done.
Chinese have no empathy for anything other than them selves. I especially like the bears that are kept in cages and milked for their gall bladder bile so these monkeys can have some marginally effective medicine. You my friend are full of shit. Chinese are part of the food chain for a tiger so is that OK if I let my Pet eat you child and film it for Youtube? Idiot.
Very well presented clip. Nice, humane shot. Had my first shot at 1 Yesterday, missed due to cheap scope (yeah right, nerves got to me). TOP COMEBACK!!!!
were abouts do u go hunting in qeensland. i want to find a place in qeensland to go hunting. at the moment i got hunting in orange, lithgow and taralga
I grew up at Canowindra near Orange! We shoot at Tenterfield (Mt Mackenzie)just south of the border. Plenty of pigs, goats and the deer have started moving in. Granit country.. hard going but worth it.
I reckon a shotty has more kick. Because you take your time with a rifle you will notice the kick more. A shotty you just throw to the shoulder and point ;)
hey man nice video, hunting in aussie looks way different to over here in nz, i usually use a .308 for goats and find its effective to do head shots up to 200yrds
Yeah, usually go the head shot but this bloke started to move. Funny you mentioned but I was looking at a .308 remington 700 with a heavy barrel and flipped the coin for the 300. Might be the next one ;) so I can save my shoulder a bit.
The goats are feral and don't have a place in Australian ecology. We also eat them after they are shot. Are you a vegetarian? If you play the video backwards the goat will wake up ;)
22-250 at 120 yards just behind the shoulder. Since upgraded to .300 win mag. which keeps the velocity and hitting power out at 300+ yards. Thanx for the backup bloke.
ya dude i hate all these people that come and watch these vids and start talkin shit wen hunting is a sport and if u eat wat u kill there is nothin wrong with it, but ya that was a good comeback lmao i loved it hahahaha to all u who dont like watchin things get shot then dont look for the vids ok

Quote: they do not hunt them all down because they are barbaric assholes that enjoy in killing over and over again.
Nice, but you actually just contradicted yourself, if they were "barbaric", they would have killed every single one on the spot.
Get some respect before calling someone an asshole.

hey mate
what caliber to you find best for goats and pigs ?
btw great shot
hbk70iskool 3 years ago
.243 works excellent at medium-long range if you can pull consistent shots, if not, a .308 would be good.

you just can't look at anything without killing it can you fucktard?
GroatTheGoat 3 years ago
Probably, but they are a bit hard to eat that way. It is a bit distracting to have your meal baahing at you while you try to cook it.

Fuck off faggot. Why post that? Your the fucktard for looking up a hunting video then posting a negative comment about it.
