I'm going to be getting a Glider soon and I want to build it a big cage like this before I have her/him. I LOVE your cage my only concern is.. do they ever chew through the fencing 'stuff'? (sorry I can't remember what it's called haha)
I got to say is that's a very impressive cage. I can easily tell the cage is designed for them because no owner will build a cage that can be dangerous and all I got to ask is if you can write what you used to make it such as the paint, mesh, and the wooden frame just so when I build one it can be safe.
Beautiful job! I love the color! I'm sure the glider loves your for building this! I'm hoping to build one for our glider soon. A 3 cubic foot cage is getting a little old for her. lol. What kind of wood did you use? I know where to get the mesh at, I was just wondering what kind of wood and what brand and color stain you used?
awsome! i love it. what did you line the bottom with. we had a hard time thinking of something and we ended up with a laminate bottom .. like people put on their countertops .
Nice ! I never even knew that this animal existed, so cool, if you get a chance do an update video on it, & of your reef thank system , looking forward to it !.. oh & I started mine, check out my channel
1) I did do my research, the stain is nontoxic and water proof.
2) The video is meant to show you how to BUILD it, NOT how to set up a glider cage with toys and pouches.
3) It does have a wood hide out to sleep and branches now and lots of places to play... Gliders do NOT have soft pouches in the wild or TOYS.
4) why are your gliders in hamster cages? I feel bad they are in such a small cage and one of them looks VERY over weight. I'm not sure if I am the one that needs research?
@KariZmA316 man you did a big bad mother fucker cage im going right now to home depot im gonna copy your desing .... i have a huge cage and i spend alot of money on it ... now i realize that this cage its the same size and much better than mine, besides i know you build your own cage and that makes you a good father for this gliders ..... ;) about stain its safe once its all dry i mean after 2 or 3 days now they have alot of room to play , jump and glide
The staining paint stuff that you used looked cool on it when it was finished! :)

I think you need a small doors as well. !!!!!! :D so the glider won't be able to escape when you open a huge door to feed them.

I hope that stain that you used to paint the wood is glider safe.
That glider is going to chew that and if it is toxic to children, it will certainly be toxic to the glider.
And he will also urinate on those ledges so I hope it is waterproof.
Your glider needs more toys and a pouch for sleeping.
Please do your research!
