No it really means that its a slow fade into a life of sin not christianity. Sin doesnt consume you in a day, you allow for seemingly small sins to enter into you life (i.e listening to secular music, dating guys/girls that are not any good etc...) and eventually it because the norm. Another line says "When black and white ture to grey" Sex = Black Saving yourself for marriage = White but when you start dating and spending time alone maybe kissing and touthing then sex = grey.

It's possible for a Christian to not like a particular Christian song, just as it is possible for an atheist to like a particular Christian song (something I've seen plenty of times). you can't tell if someones a Christian or not solely by what songs (s)he likes.

This song is so touching. The first time I heard it I cried. I was in a really bad place today and one of the partitioners from my church was practicing singing it after the youth group was dismissed and I heard it and started crying but it brought me out of the darkness.

This song is saying that Black and White are clear in Gods eyes. PLEASE for the love of God, don't give up eternity. God knows what Black is Black and whats White is white and until you have Jesus wash away the darkness then you are to be judged, and found guilty. Grey is an illusion of Satan. God loves you but hates the sin in you. Don't let Satan win.

I like how the song is subtle in its reference to God. Most people who dont want to have anything to do with God are turned off by religious songs, yet this song delivers the story first. This is a great tool to help reluctant individuals find God in their lives.

I heard this song the second time I watched Fireproof & fell in love with it! I mean... I heard it before but it never really stuck with me, but I kept hearing it over & over on my Christian radio stations Air1 or SOS. I think God is speaking to me through your wonderful talented members of the band I so love! Thank you for putting god thoughts, words out there for lost souls like me to hear. God bless you !!! <3

This song is so touching. The first time I heard it I cried. I was in a really bad place today and one of the partitioners from my church was practicing singing it after the youth group was dismissed and I heard it and started crying but it brought me out of the darkness.

@catsusmc Songs can do that and that's what I love about them!!! I was at YouthStock last week and during the Alter call they played East to West by Casting Crowns and I never really cry when I listen to it, but when I saw some of my friends go up there to be saved and the song I just cried...it was so great to see that and hear the song!!!

This song is strong and inspirational. I realy like the part where he says: when black and white turn to grey...because thats something simple minded people dont understand. Black and white can colide. I love every word, every beat, every ounce of compassion in this song. THough I dont follow any religion, and i put my own opinions on God I realy like the cristian music.

@158662meee When it says "When Black and White have turned to grey" it means that when everything is grey it becomes easy to slip into darkness. This song is saying that Black and White are clear in Gods eyes. PLEASE for the love of God, don't give up eternity. God knows what Black is Black and whats White is white and until you have Jesus wash away the darkness then you are to be judged, and found guilty. Grey is an illusion of Satan. God loves you but hates the sin in you. Don't let Satan win.

This song is beautiful and really speaks to my heart. Even with things like the music we listen to can lead us into compromising a beautiful relationship with God. We as Christians need to know that the world doesn't even come close to comparing to a relationship with God and we should do everything in our power to not risk it. :) <3

@Eternal120Salvation yeah well the concept of the the two songs are the same, i like this song myself. but i was just trying to give some kind of idea why someone would not. both good songs. the main point i was trying to make is that you dont have to be atheist not to like this song. alot of conservative christians that totally oppose christain rock music.

i like this song besides the first line.. sometimes young people can't help what they see or hear..most of the time the parents are the ones who control that. especially for children..

@siggiesoftball2 I agree with you to an extent, but it's when young people go back for it (i myself am included in the 'youngpeople'). We can't always help what we see but when we take a second look or go back to see it again, that's when something can start.

I love this song me and my bf just brokeup and i listened to this song and i realized our relationship was a slow fade we loved each other so much but we drifted apart to where we hated to be around each other. i miss him but i gotta move on......... casting crowns rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like how the song is subtle in its reference to God. Most people who dont want to have anything to do with God are turned off by religious songs, yet this song delivers the story first. This is a great tool to help reluctant individuals find God in their lives.
