A book was just released in regards to the Room 636 incident of 1965 with crime scene pictures of room 636 of the Gunter Hotel and room 536 of the San Anthony Hotel of 1965. The book itself is graphic and is by far the best books on the subject. that loud noise near the end is probably a street sweeper. San Antonio has super big ones that go at night. That's what it sounded like to me, the way it got louder & then quieter.
@daydreamsdandelions, that's a fantastic suggestion, that is what it sounds like. that goes to show how loud the street sounds are, I was on the sixth floor and the camera was close to the door, away from the windows.
@evpinvestigations, well he tried. I'll have to post the full story. The police found him several days later at a very close by hotel, while there he tried to buy a large meat grinder at a downtown Sears, but they didn't have one big enough for him. That is after he left the Gunter. He killed himself when they knocked on his door, the body was no where to be found. Very interesting, if not gruesome, story.
