Russia has the best airforce in the world, and nobody can argue with me there. China's airforce they didn't really even consider much. All of their war equipment is outdated and underused. Like the Z-10 for instance that attack helicopter was developed around the Vietnam War and was never actually used in a war. China has great anti-air capabilities though and a good nuclear program so they are just as dangerous as Russia to the United States.

U.S. had better tech, but again referencing to WWII the germans lost partly due to the way they built vehicles and what not, like the U.S., the went for tech, and quality, - not quantity. and with the T-34 the Russians found something i n between.

Russia has the best airforce in the world, and nobody can argue with me there. China's airforce they didn't really even consider much. All of their war equipment is outdated and underused. Like the Z-10 for instance that attack helicopter was developed around the Vietnam War and was never actually used in a war. China has great anti-air capabilities though and a good nuclear program so they are just as dangerous as Russia to the United States.

even if it had not joined in WWII we would have still won, you sat it out and waited to see who was winning... that turned out to be the original Allies; CCCP, European resistance, and the UK. So if we we're loosing you would have just joined the Axis. We would have won with or without America but UK would have more casualty. Plus newsflash dumbass, in WWI we we're ruled by an awesome Cazr. Want to know why America lost the Vietnam war, it's called minding ur own damn business.

@bartieboy93 first of all i highly doubt that china and russia could take on all of NATO, US, and every other country the US is allied to. second, i meant to say us plus NATO before, and third countries like japan, canada and a couple others would have already invaded and crushed russia and china in their own homeland. its not all about nukes.

What makes you think we wouldn't retaliate with our own missiles? Did you forget about our missile defense shield? By the way, being a world power has nothing to do with how well you do in war - it's economy based. For the time being, the USA is still the top dog. China hasn't passed us yet.

I wanted to add one thing to that: it's only partially economy-based, as there are way more factors to include, such as the quality of training programs and the tactics and strategies maintained by the armies in question. In a war between several of the great armies of the world, it's not ever certain who would win, and thus a 'topdog' cannot be determined unless this cataclystic war suddenly erupts that pits everyone against each other.

I think the soviets would have conquered all Europe, if things went good for them. Now the american navy should fight chineses and soviets, plus soviets could make new ships with the conquest of eastern europe.
If the soviets are able to land in America, it's over. America used all resources in Europe, and now, it would be screwed. The ocean is a problem for the soviets, but i think they would have over-produced ships and then won.

@dansvidco that was world war 2, and your right, but i nterms of military spending - it was an arms race to begin with. U.S. had better tech, but again referencing to WWII the germans lost partly due to the way they built vehicles and what not, like the U.S., the went for tech, and quality, - not quantity. and with the T-34 the Russians found something i n between.

@Bashaza but in a surprise attack with pretty much the full U.S. Military Force in europe... you amy ahve a chance. the main reason the russians attacked was to cause damage and pull the U.S. Forces out of europe so they could take it. Then they would pull out launch a nuke if they discovered the Star Wars Project wasn;t real. but even then, thats not the way the russians really fought.

Kniazzis right its about how you use your forces. German during the first parts of ww2 won battles through their tactics even though the polish had better equipment and more forcese the blitz just overwelmd thier forces. And the fact that poland has no natural deffences

in a conventional war (non-nuclear) the U.S. could never invade Russia, go hide their army on the dark side of the moon and their people alone could mount and insurgency that would drive us out with our tails between our legs. their people would defend their country like mofos. however the reverse is also true, when we fought the brits our guys were down to living off roots and raw squirrel meat but never gave up. local resistance, generally is the side to be on. go nuclear and we both lose.

But the sad part, there's no such thing as a non-nuclear all-out war between USA and Russia.
From another side, to go all-out USA either need to threaten Russia's existence/ sovereignty /etc or Russia will need to invade W.Europe/USA. All i can say is that its guaranteed that Russia doesnt have any interest in such actions.
Even USSR never seriously considered invasion of USA.
