Ever since he destroyed the much larger Jon Hess in Vitor's first fight, his boxing abilities have become legendary.
i vitor is one of my favorite fighters and have met him twice and is always a nice guy. but IMO he should have to prove he deserves a title shot a little more. Yeah he TKO'd Franklin and it was impressive, but one fight back in the UFC and he gets a title shot? Nate Marquahardt is getting jipped
@100isthebest i wouldnt get that far ahead... vitor has that potential but fighting the spider is a whole different world.i think they should put vitor vs jon bones jones first just to see how vitor does against him... if jon bones jones dominates belfort then jones needs to fight silva but if its the other way around then belfort may dominate silva
Yeah you are right. But i think Silva is gonna face toughest opponent he has ever faced. Vitor is no joke, one punch and he can KO Silva. Silva is badass, as Forrest said he makes top fighters look like amateurs. It's gonna be a great fight i can't wait.

Did u see the fight? His Boxing match? If you did, and have eyes, you would see that isnt the type of person you would want to learn Boxing from. He has no Boxing skills, point blank period. Any clown can have a record, doesnt make them good, he has fought nobodies, and also is a nobody
Nothing wrong with that. DO what you think is fun 4 you. i started off Muay Thai(still do it really) and got into watching MMA first. Then i started watching boxing, and now i like that the best. Right next to MUay Thai
@PhillyPugilist also there isnt much money in mma either.. they get more of their money from sponsors than actual fights...its sad that the worlds most popular combat sport is not becoming the highest paid also... boxers make 20 mil a fight.. mma fighters are lucky to get 250k
i wouldnt say mma is the most popular combat sport. it comes 2nd to boxing. some people dont even know what mma is. Boxing is more popular thats why they make more money. all combat fighters should be paid a shitload b/c they sacrifice their bodies...mma crushes boxing in ppv ratings in the u.s.-its not more popular than mma. the sports' new and growing rapidly. b/c mmas' new, boxings' more popular on an international scale. yeah zuffa, the owner of ufc, is private and deals w/ ppv deals where as in boxing, the fighter/promoter and basically the show and see more money. ufc has monopolized the sport.you're right about dana white bein greedy. he must make 20 mill.
and injury kept him from fighting on the Brazilian boxing team in 2000! He would have fought at 201, same as Michael Bennet (usa) and Felox Savon (Cuba). Savon would have beaten him Easily!
in my humble opinion, best hands in mma by far.

also if you pay attention to what he is saying he's giving mma specific boxing tips because you can't use normal boxing stances in mma.
