Years ago, the Mexicans were trying to make California adopt into law that Spanish be the 2nd language, meaning Spanish would be a required language to be taught in all schools and literature would have to be translated into Spanish. Of all the immigrants from Europe, Canada, Asia, and Polynesia, the Mexicans are the only race where more than half did not come here speaking English.

Martinez claims we need "comprehensive" reform. The last time we did that, Reagan signed a bill that provided for amnesty for 8 million illegals in exchange for a promise of enforcement. We got the amnesty but never the enforcement, and they're pushing for the same thing again for a larger number of illegals. If it passes, we'll never get the enforcement, and in 2-3 decades it'll be 20-25 million.
30 years ago, there were not a whole lot of Hispanics, especially from the border, here in the US. Since there are now millions who came here illegally, in a few decades the US will not be recognizable as the Hispanic race would be trying to run our government. Also, the Obamacare covers ALL medical coverage for "illegal" immigrants, all paid for by the US taxpayer. It gave the "illegal" immigrants more freedom to abuse our health care system.
Now that there are so many Hispanics in the US. You will eventually see a lot of them in every state. Give it another 20 years. They are already way up North in colder climates such as in Maine, Washington, New Hampshire, Connecticut working in fast foods like McDonalds with Mexican bosses. It is Congress' fault for not taking care of "illegal" immigration. Arizona has been waiting for years for help with the border situation, Congress did very little but cut the funding to hire more border patrol workers and cut funding for the fence. Mexico won't punish the Mexicans for sneaking here, making the US to deal with the problem and cost. Congress & the Obama administration refused to deal with it. They didn't have the same concept of land ownership the Europeans did. The entire island of Manhattan was "traded" to the Europeans for some blankets and hatchets. Years ago, the Mexicans were trying to make California adopt into law that Spanish be the 2nd language, meaning Spanish would be a required language to be taught in all schools and literature would have to be translated into Spanish. I am glad that never did pass. Many folks were totally against it, plus it would be costly to republish books. Of all the immigrants from Europe, Canada, Asia, and Polynesia, the Mexicans are the only race where more than half did not come here speaking English.

Have you ever really listened to how the Mexicans speak Spanish? Their version is so primitive. That is not even "real" Spanish. They speak "slang" Spanish, colloquial Spanish--slang! It is not even the true Spanish that is grammatical, such as what you can hear in Spain and parts of Latin America. Even other Latinos--Puerto Ricans, Columbian, even Filipinos who know Spanish complain that the Mexicans cut off their sentences such as "Como esta" (how are) not "Como esta usted (how are you?).

Europeans, Asians, Polynesians, Canadians come here overall conforming to the laws of the US--but not the Mexicans; they complain that we don't speak Spanish, they complain if they don't take full advantage of the government welfare system and jobs, protest and even riot to try to force Americans to bend to their way of thinking. Martinez claims we need "comprehensive" reform. The last time we did that, Reagan signed a bill that provided for amnesty for 8 million illegals in exchange for a promise of enforcement. We got the amnesty but never the enforcement, and they're pushing for the same thing again for a larger number of illegals. If it passes, we'll never get the enforcement, and in 2-3 decades it'll be 20-25 million.

30 years ago, there were not a whole lot of Hispanics, especially from the border, here in the US. Since there are now millions who came here illegally, in a few decades the US will not be recognizable as the Hispanic race would be trying to run our government. Also, the Obamacare covers ALL medical coverage for "illegal" immigrants, all paid for by the US taxpayer. It gave the "illegal" immigrants more freedom to abuse our health care system.

Now that there are so many Hispanics in the US. You will eventually see a lot of them in every state. Give it another 20 years. They are already way up North in colder climates such as in Maine, Washington, New Hampshire, Connecticut working in fast foods like McDonalds with Mexican bosses. It is Congress' fault for not taking care of "illegal" immigration. Arizona has been waiting for years for help with the border situation, Congress did very little but cut the funding to hire more border patrol workers and cut funding for the fence. Mexico won't punish the Mexicans for sneaking here, making the US to deal with the problem and cost. Congress & the Obama administration refused to deal with it. The State of Arizona had no choice but to take matters into their own hands.

@goru426 The Europeans had to be "registered" by the government upon coming to the land, to be documented that they had been here, whereas the "illegals" from the border preferably like to "sneak in" through the border by whatever way they can; by hiding in vehicles, going through underground tunnels, sneaking across the desert at night, even by boat if not be caught by the coast guard, or swimming if not be eaten by sharks. The illegals come here in whatever way they can.
